Very nice staff. Good location. Clean, Qiet. Peacfull. Ment to stay 2 day, but keep extending my stay. After all I stayed there week. Hostel offering transwers to the Tawau airport for 30 myr.

I chose this hotel solely because of its close proximity to the RDC. It's suitable for a one-night stopover. There's an additional charge of 20 MYR upon check-in. In a double room, it's inconvenient due to the lack of a second chair and a table on the veranda. Breakfast is very limited in terms of portions – you're served a fixed set, and there are only three sets to choose from. It's also worth noting the issue with European power outlets. Within the resort, the only place for relaxation is the reception area. I only recommend this for a one-night stay.

Excellent little accomodation that has all you need at very reasonable rates. It's centrally located, clean and has very friendly staff. I decided to extend my stay for an other two nights. I was initially a bit hesitant as I read that wifi might not be working well, but it was quite the opposite. It was strong enough for me to take a video call for work which I'm happy about. We stayed in this hotel for four people. Seriously, the people inside were very friendly. The old man with us was a house. The old man from Alaska was named Ben. He was humorous and talkative. I really hope I can go to live for a few more days next time. A photo of a happy diving in Kota Kinabalu

Great value for budget travelers! Signel Hostel is very affordable and the rooms are very clean. The staff are super polite, friendly, and helpful. I really appreciated the bed setups—each comes with a personal reading light, a power outlet, a small shelf, and even a few clothes hangers, which was a very thoughtful touch! A few practical things to note before booking: There is no elevator, so carrying heavy luggage up the stairs can be challenging. The bathroom facilities are a bit old, limited in number, and the shower area is unisex/shared for both men and women. Overall, considering the cheap price, cleanliness, and wonderful hospitality, it’s still fantastic value for money!

⭐⭐⭐⭐ **Good Location and Comfortable Stay** What I liked most about Margo Hotel is the **location**. It’s right beside Imago Shopping Mall, which is very convenient, and there are plenty of food options nearby. The room was comfortable, and we had a good sleep. I think this hotel is a good choice if you’re planning to spend most of your day exploring Kota Kinabalu and just need a comfortable and convenient place to stay. However, there are a few things that could be improved. One of the elevators was frequently not working during our stay, which was inconvenient. There is also no automatic daily towel replacement—you need to bring your used towels to the lobby to exchange them for clean ones. Overall, it was a pretty good stay, especially because of the excellent location and comfortable sleeping experience.

I had a wonderful stay at Greenage Ming Garden Suite. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with all the necessary amenities provided. The location is convenient, making it easy to access nearby restaurants and attractions. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to assist, which made the overall experience even more enjoyable. Everything was well maintained, and I truly felt relaxed throughout my stay. I highly recommend Greenage Ming Garden Suite to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable place to stay, and I would definitely choose to stay here again in the future.

I arrived in Tawau at 3 PM, but the airport didn't allow overnight stays, so I had to head to Semporna three hours earlier. Coincidentally, the front desk staff that day didn't speak Chinese or English, so we communicated using a translation app. It went smoothly; they allowed us to rest in the lobby and use the public restrooms. They were really kind and friendly throughout. After daybreak, we left our luggage there and went island hopping. We checked in upon our return in the evening. The cleanliness was good, and I didn't find any mosquitoes. My only minor regret was not having a place to hang my washed clothes, but thankfully, summer clothes dry quickly. The location is great, with plenty of food and drink options downstairs, including restaurants and supermarkets. Overall, for the price, I was very satisfied. If I go back, I'd definitely consider staying here again. I forgot to take photos of the hotel, so I'll just use my island hopping pictures instead.

hye. the lady at front counter very amazing, very friendly and helpful. the room is also tidy, just nice for 1-2 traveller. however, there are some amenities that are broken..the plug in the room is broken, so i can only use one plug. and the door at the ladies toilet also broken and very dangerous because it can. falll and hit others. i hope the technical and management team are aware of this. they need to check often. other than that im satisfied. especially the location since it is very very near to the entrance of imago mall.
