I like this area as I stayed nearby last year. Quiet. Peaceful. Walking distance to a great quiet beach. Away from too many tourists. Close to local Malay community, restaurants, street food. I will come again, I am sure. Of yeh, great value for money. Thank you to the friendly staff on reception.

Excellent hotel at a very low price. There is everything you need. The room has a refrigerator, TV, comfortable large bed, air conditioning! At the exit from the hotel there is a dispenser, there is an ironing board with an iron and a microwave oven! Registration at the hotel is electronic, remote, you do not need to leave any deposit! The only small drawback is the location of the hotel. It is some distance from shops and attractions! But if you have a car or scooter, for you this will not be a problem! I definitely recommend this hotel to everyone! Especially suitable for a quiet family holiday near nature!

The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is really strategic, which is just besides the underwater world/ aquarium. The hotel signboard bit small hence might need to very careful when searching.
The toilet is under repair. Hence, it is really a bit upset. Maybe it can be locked to avoid people keeping open accidentally or unaware and smell come out.
I like the common area as it provides smoking and non smoking area and it really helped.

I didn't expect much given the price, but it turned out to be an amazing value!
The room was quite clean for this price point, especially the bathroom – it was spotless with no strange odors!
Plus, no mosquitoes or other creepy crawlies.
It had air conditioning, Wi-Fi, water, a washing machine, and a swimming pool, making it super convenient for drying clothes.
Location: You can walk to Cenang Beach in just two minutes from the backyard! Very convenient.
The owner even offers tours; you can book island hopping with them, including transfers.
Highly recommended if you're traveling solo! It felt very safe.

One of the best hostel experiences in all my travels in Southeast Asia where you will meet some of the nicest employees, volunteers, owners and fellow travelers. Amenities are generally good and the entire facility is incredibly clean. There are a mix of room sizes with different numbers of beds. There is only one weekly organized social event at the hostel so guests need to self-organize amongst themselves; the hostel can do more to provide a more cohesive social experience.

The front desk service was excellent; they upgraded us to a deluxe room free of charge, and the room was impeccably clean. The Sussy House is a great choice, and I would definitely choose it again next time.

Place it gd ..but the room ,no tv ,no wordrop..
If U could place small flats screen .tv which mounted..on wall..much more better ....firstly plz, put out hotel name or signage at the main Rd...so is easy for tourist who drive to locate ..our direction straight away ..for check in....

The landlord is very nice. The living environment is comfortable and quiet. It is very close to restaurants, sea view and shopping. I am very satisfied with the health services and it is a pleasure to travel.
(I just put the uneaten pizza in the refrigerator and forgot to pick it up. Please ask the store to deal with it. Thank you)

GGuest UserI have pleasent experience here. The price also reasonable because I have my own private pool. The owner also polite and friendly. The place are not lively like chenang and I like it! Peace and quite village but near to Chenang so it's recommended places to choose. I have good experience here. Really like it!

GGuest UserThe hotel is small. We stayed on the second floor in the building by the pool. This building has 6 rooms. The room had a small kitchen nook with a sink, microwave, and refrigerator. Housekeeping was available upon request. The only minor drawback was that we wished the towels were changed daily. There's a shared kitchen with dishes near the reception. Barbecue facilities are also available. The staff was very friendly. The location was convenient for us. We rented a car for the first week and explored the entire island. For the remaining days, we mostly walked to Cenang Beach. It's a nice 20-minute walk in the morning. We swam and sunbathed at the Malibest Hotel, where we rented sunbeds for 50 ringgit (2 sunbeds + umbrella). We'd either walk back or take a taxi for 6-10 ringgit.

SSobelIts a fantastic place to be on, I really loved this place, though there are slight problems in insect controlling but that is understable cause it rains almost everyday. On this issue the SWEET INN should work a bit.
Overall, its a very good place. Most of things are in touching distance from the location.

GGuest User1) Located at Kedawang area which is opposite Holiday Villa & next to Aloft, If the Grab driver can't locate the place.
2) The mural on the wall depicts ”Cactus 🌵Inn” If u don't realise where is it after alighting from the Grab. 🤓 Friendly staff.
3) More of a private own premise converted into a comfortable Inn which has a little cafe next to it that serves light menu & plays good old 60s & 70s music that'll reminisce the past. 🎶👍🏻 Of course, the Inn doesn't look like what it has illustrated in the booking platform. More plants & less cleanliness!
4) Room facilities were well equipped wt mineral water, coffee sachet, hairdryer, TV, aircond, fan, shower gel, towels & toilet roll. 🤗
5) A cosy place for the night wt free wifi But Full of insect bugs flying in the bathroom! I killed 10 insect bugs, I guess they flew in from the bathroom window which is situated next to the backyard. Ensure you close your bathroom door to avoid the irritating insect bugs in your room! Otherwise it's a quiet place just for a night. There's another cafe Next to Cactus Inn called ”ARC” that serves Nyonya & Portuguese food! Don't miss the Chicken Pongteh!! 😋👍🏻 Friendly staffs though price can be steep!

IIvan KraljSadly, this looks like a place that desperately needs renovation. It looks quite neglected, from walls screaming for new paint, to torn bedsheets, to broken pipes in the bathroom leaking water.
Also, some things are not as advertised in their profile. There is no 24 hour front desk - in fact, check in is very simple, you come to a desk, and find the key with the sticker with your name on it (it would be nice if they informed guests about this).
Also, there is no hot water in the bathroom (even if room description claims otherwise), nor electric kettle in the room.
There was also no toilet paper, but after i sent them an email about it (remember, no 24 hour front desk), they brought a roll with an apology.
They were nice enough to extend my check out for an hour. But more than just being flexible, i think their business would improve if they invested more into maintenance of the place.

PPin CheahAn average guest house and would not rate as a hotel. No lifts and has to carry your own luggage up a flight of metals stairway. Only 5 rooms renovated from an old rundown shop houses
No sound proofing as can hear conversation and shower activities next door. Noisy at night with blasting music and singing from bars nearby.
Friendly and hardworking staff. Nice comfortable clean beds. Prepare for cold showers as it takes ages for warm water to come through or when used simultaneously by other rooms.
Nearby Shops are not open on Friday and Saturday and food only available in shopping centre about 1.5 km away.
Overall basic room that does not match the high room rates charged.

DDr. Arista LahiriFirst of all, this is not a resort by any chance. It is simply a motel which is old and in desperate need of maintenance. The room that was provided had large cracks (and it was the only available room). The AC was not properly cooling. The bathroom was super small, so small that they didn't know where to hang the shower.
Despite so many negatives, the staff were good. They maintained the basic cleanliness, and were helpful. Also the location was great.
I would urge Trip.com to review the nomenclature of this property, and would definitely urge the property to perform immediate maintenance and upgrades.

ママミリンThe location is fantastic. There are plenty of dining options, shops, and a money changer with good rates nearby, and the beach is close. The balcony is spacious and the room is clean. There are no amenities provided, and a hairdryer needs to be requested. A small bottle of water is included.
We saw four wild tarsiers from our balcony, one with a baby clinging to its belly – it was amazing!
The downsides are that the free Wi-Fi is weak and constantly disconnects, and there's no elevator. There's also a 50 MYR deposit.
