Jeju bus terminal stop-beware of the separate blue and green bus stop so you wont missed your bus. Naver map and Tmoney help your journey around Jeju. Mr. Peter, himself, messaged me first through trip.com about the time I will be there at their place, which I was hesitant to do that but luckily, he did and that was surprising. Also, he let me leave my luggage in advance. Staff speaks English well and hospitable. As soon as you check in, staff will provide the stuff you needed for your stay in the room plus the indoor slipper to switch with your outdoor shoes to be placed in the closet at the entrance. NO elevator but the girl staff offered to carry my luggage to the room. There is an area in the 2nd floor for dining—designated place to eat—with microwave, water dispenser, dishes and utensils, fridge and freezer, you can cook and wash your dishes. There is a small area designated for reading/relaxing in the 3rd floor, where the entrance to the rooftop(to watch Hallasan sunset and for 8pm projector movie night). 2nd floor for male guests while 3rd fl for females. Sleeping room(is really for sleeping, no room to stretch only in your bed—is very comfortable with one outlet and a lamp) is separate from the shower area with slippers(washbasin/sink and enclosed shower stalls-body wash & shampoo) from the toilet stalls and from the powder/mirror area with hairdryer. If you have a small to medium luggage, you can store it under the bunkbed. There are lockers in every room (a normal school backpack could fit). Walking distance to Yongduam Rock to Yeongyon Bridge to boardwalk for coastal walks—great cafes to watch waves & landing planes and local resto—to Jungang Shopping Street to Jungang Underground Mall to Dongmun Market.
If you like mochi, next door of the Mir is delicious and affordable Jeju Mochi which is priced twice in the airport. Convenience stores (7-eleven next door), chicken&fries and local resto around the corner. Mr. Peter met him during the breakfast. He prepared the breakfast—egg sandwich which comes w/black coffee or orange juice. He is nice and approachable. The Mir Guesthouse’s is designed from the Yongduam Rock, it is cool, clean, and magnificent. Solo traveling is fun—meeting new faces, different nationalities, cultures, and witness the amazing nature’s wonder.

Mary vacationPlace was good and we could park the car well. The parking garage manager was really kind. The hotel has 7 eleven downstairs and also a laundry room if you pay (the wasmachine is really big so you could drop all your clothes at the end of the stay). The only little problem is the room is a bit small. We had quit big suitcases so if you bring big suitcases, book a bigger room or be smart when packing. The location is really nice only 2 minutes from the market and so many food options around the hotel!

Anonymous UserThe hygiene was surprisingly good, which was a pleasant surprise. There wasn't much in the way of service, but honestly, we didn't really need any. The breakfast restaurant staff spoke Chinese in the kitchen, and the breakfast itself was on par with, or perhaps even worse than, pre-made dishes you'd find in China. Definitely don't bother booking it.

I went to ICC Jeju for GCIM 2025 conference. This hotel is just 10 minutes walking distance from the ICC. The staff is very cooperative and kind. He can also speak English. The room service and cleaning fascilities are best 👍.

AihebingmeishidezhudantaThe hotel is about 500m from Dongmun Market, roughly a 10-minute walk. The room was small with a window facing the road, but it wasn't noisy at night as there was hardly any traffic. The decor felt a bit dated, like something from over a decade ago, but it was clean, which was a plus. Due to South Korea's environmental regulations, they don't provide disposable toothbrushes here (though other hotels I stayed at in Jeju did). There's a CU convenience store diagonally opposite downstairs. Overall, it was pretty good.

This hostel is perfect for solo travelers. I met so many wonderful people during my stay, and the all-female policy made me feel very safe. It's a well-established and clean hostel, and the women here are incredibly helpful, friendly, and kind to each other. The front desk staff speaks both English and Chinese. Check-in is self-service, but you'll need to carry your luggage up the stairs yourself. The breakfast is simple yet delicious, and the kitchen is great for light cooking. You can even grab some Korean instant noodles from a convenience store and cook them up – it's perfectly fine! The room facilities are simple and cozy, and the four-person rooms even have private restrooms, so there's no need to worry about waiting for the shower. The only downside is the location. It's in old Jeju, which is close to the airport, but a bit far from Baojian Street. So, it might not be ideal for those who love to shop. Also, if you've booked a day tour, pick-up might be a slight inconvenience.

Great Stay at Oakra Hotel
The hotel is definitely worth the price. I arrived around 2 PM feeling very tired from traveling and didn’t realize that the official check-in time was 4 PM. Thankfully, Ms. Gao Shuang was very kind and accommodating. Since the room was already available, she allowed me to check in early, which I really appreciated.
The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, making it a good place to rest after a long trip. The room also had useful amenities like a refrigerator, heater, and small towels, which were very convenient.
My only minor concern is that there was no cup in the room for making tea or coffee. It would be great if the hotel could add that simple amenity.
Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I would still recommend Oakra Hotel for travelers looking for good value and comfortable accommodation.

Posted on May 4, 2026|Bed in 6 Beds Female Dormitory Non Smoking
Guest UserI stayed at a lovely, soft, and female-friendly hostel! I booked two nights here because I had an early morning flight from Jeju. It was a six-bed dorm room. Everyone was very respectful of personal space, and the room was super quiet. The entire two floors were a female-only space, with a wonderfully fragrant scent, and the beds were so soft.
I also snacked and watched TV in the lobby. There were about 8 young staff members nearby, and they seemed so happy. I even shared the walnut cookies I bought from Lotte Mart with them.
This morning, while waiting for my flight, I saw the blue sky and sea view and caught a whiff of the scent from my clothes. I actually missed the place a little. Female-friendly hostels are really great...
I forgot to take the 7-Eleven yogurt I bought yesterday. If anyone sees it, feel free to take it!
