YinchanchanchanThe common area facilities are really great. There's a big, well-equipped kitchen for cooking. They also have several large sofas, board games, coffee, and a small courtyard.
You can rent bikes for 300 JPY an hour, and laundry (wash + dry) is 500 JPY. There are convenience stores and restaurants nearby, which is very handy, and it's only about a 10-minute walk to Lake Kawaguchiko.
The staff were super friendly and meticulously explained all the rules.
However, the mattress in the female dorm was quite thin and soft... my back was pretty sore after sleeping. 😢😢😢 Still, for the price, I think it's perfectly adequate.

Guest UserThis hotel is more geared towards self-service; you have to input your information on a tablet during check-in. The bathroom and beds were clean, and the air conditioning temperature was just right. Everyone was polite, so it wasn't particularly noisy. The Fujikyu train station and bus stop are just a short walk away.

The price offers excellent value for money. The owner is incredibly friendly and accommodating, and if you discuss it with them, they can arrange transportation.

Many people criticize this B&B, so I'll say a few fair words. First of all, the landlord is an auntie who speaks a little English but not Chinese. She chatted with me in English when I checked in. Because it's a homestay, there are many rules, such as no smoking, throwing towels in a bamboo basket after taking a shower, trying to be quiet after 11pm, washing dishes after breakfast, etc. I live with my son, and these rules are not a big problem for us, so I feel good overall. And because I checked in before 8pm, the landlord sent breakfast, including bread, fried eggs, grilled sausage, and salad, which tasted really good.

Guest UserApproximately 11 min walk from the station which isn’t too bad. However, it might be quite a walk if you have 2 big luggages. Booked a private room on the 2nd floor and thankfully the staff (male) helped us carry our bags up the stairs.
The shower was well equipped with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash and lots of hot water and good pressure.
Walls are rather thin so you can hear people walking up and down the stairs or even opening their bags.
Hotel view was amazing from the room

NVS CGTEverything was good about this hotel. They serve fresh homemade bread every day — and it's free! The amenities were great, including a stove so we could cook. The only thing I think could be improved is the host’s friendliness. I only got to speak with him during check-in. Every day when we bumped into him, he seemed to avoid speaking with me. It would have been a perfect score if the host had been more friendly and made us feel welcome at the guesthouse.

Guest UserThe hotel is tastefully decorated - very comfortable, from the window of the room a stunning view on Fuji.
Next to the bus stop there are places where you can eat even after 9:00, which is surprising for such a area!
From the downsides - the road to the hotel is laid out of grave, the day before we on the same stone road broke the suitcase, to look for a new in such a area very expensive and uncomfortable, so here it was necessary to carry it in hands, it is very tired, In the house itself there are also many porosh and steps, so travelers with big and heavy bags will be extremely uncomfortable in this hotel, the second time would not stop, only if to go on the light.
