It's a great place for solo traveller to meet others especially young people. The owner is very friendly and accomodating. They even provided free couscous for dinner. It's actually near Manzoni metro dtation, bit far from Termini. But for 1 night stay, it's okay and adequate.

Rooms are clean, and my 8-bed dorm has 2 bathrooms/toilets. Bed linen are clean and the only you need to set up is the bedsheet. Each bed is equipped with reading light, USB ports AND a power outlet. Luggage storage lockers are good but a little too expensive imo, 10€ for a small locker for 12 hours, that fits a cabin luggage. Common areas are great as well!

We stayed just one night for work as a couple, but I wanted to review it because it's rare to find hostel rooms this clean. The rooms are equipped with the bare essentials, including towels, disposable shampoo, and hangers with clothes hangers. The reception staff are very friendly and professional, offering 24-hour service and allowing check-in until midnight. They're always available to offer helpful advice and information. We'll definitely be back!

My stay at Villa Luzzatti was wonderful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the location made it easy to get around. The staff provided excellent service and were always welcoming. Amenities were good overall, though there’s still some room for improvement. A great choice for solo travelers looking for a pleasant and convenient stay.

1. The elevator is quite nostalgic and unique; I didn't feel unsafe at all. It's probably one-of-a-kind globally, so the experience was fantastic.
2. I was lucky enough to get a free upgrade to a quadruple room, which had plenty of space and a safe. However, there were no curtains, so I used a hanger to hang clothes for added privacy! 👍🏻
3. The room had a window for ventilation, which helped prevent any unpleasant odors.
4. The hostel also has common areas and a lobby with restrooms, and one shower.
Downsides:
1. The room has a combined toilet and shower, which means if someone is using it, you can't even blow-dry your hair. It would be better if some of these facilities were separate and outside the room.

great people. seems like the hav good activities for people who like to go out. right next to metro so in a great location and there’s an amazing pizza place right down the block. worth it for the $
I sprained my ankle before checking in, and the front desk staff were incredibly kind and helpful — they offered me a more accessible bed and even provided ice for my injury. The next day after check-out, I stayed in the lobby for the whole day to rest before my departure, and I truly appreciate their understanding and support. Thank you for making a difficult situation feel so much easier. 🙏

GGuest UserI stayed at this hostel during my solo trip to Rome, and I chose a 10-bed dorm room. From the very beginning, my experience was extremely positive, mainly thanks to the amazing staff at the front desk. Everyone was genuinely kind, welcoming, and always willing to help. No matter what I asked—directions, transportation tips, or recommendations for sightseeing—they took the time to explain everything clearly and warmly. As a solo traveler, their friendliness made me feel safe, relaxed.
EEranOverall, it's pretty good. The room's cleanliness was fine, though the bathroom occasionally let us down a bit, sometimes not providing enough bath towels. But generally, it was okay. Also, it was a bit tricky to find at first; you really need to look for 'Big Garden' (大花园), and then immediately turn right after entering the iron gate.
GGuest UserAdvantages
- in the city center
- can check in late
- though it’s a hostel we had a separate room and bathroom
- the room was quite clean
- there’s a back yard
Disadvantages:
- the shared kitchen was in poor condition (the hygiene)
- dust on upper shelves
- doesn’t look as nice as in pictures.
All in all fine for a single night stay.
But Wouldn’t wanna stay there for more than one night
