The room was pretty quiet. I stayed on the basement level, so there was no window, but since I was only there for one night to sleep, it didn't bother me. The bedding and bathroom were very clean, and there was a door curtain. The bed was quite soft. Having the toilet and shower right in the room was very convenient. There was also a full-length mirror and a vanity table in the room. The front desk offered free, very fresh lemonade! However, my bedside lamp was broken and hadn't been repaired; it squeaked all night, which really affected my sleep. I've told them and hope it gets fixed soon.
Just a few steps to birmingham coach station. For solo traveller,be careful if you arrive at midnight because the road to the hostel is dark and no people on the road. Except for the weekend there is a bar and few drunk people. The hostel is nice and the room is comfortable except if you have chinese roomate that always make a noise at night. Locker is available and make sure you have your own padlock. Wifi conmection very good, the lady at the counter also very nice and helpful.
