Hostels in La Altagracia, Dominican Republic

Hotel El Imperio is a good place for a short stay or for taking tours in Punta Cana. While its location isn't the best, it's easy to get to by public transport (Uber or taxi). The breakfast was a highlight. The cleanliness of the facilities could be improved.

The owner, Marco was a life saver! He knows everyone in town and directed me to the services I needed, such as mobile Internet. One of the staff there named Victor was a great help for me in town with translations and even helped me carry groceries. They have a restaurant with awesome food. It’s just a block away from the beach. They are basic, not so fancy, but everything I needed. Most of all they have a great staff, helpful… and that goes a long ways with me.
