GGuest UserThis hostel far exceeded my expectations! The front desk service was efficient and attentive, and the check-in process was simple. Any questions I had were answered promptly. The hygiene control was excellent; the washroom area was dry with no standing water, and there was no dust on the floors or in the corners. The overall environment was simple and clean, and the soundproofing was good, so it wasn't noisy at night. The common facilities were comprehensive, and the price was affordable. Staying here made my trip relaxing and worry-free.

GGuest UserMy first time trying this place, and I thought it was great! I booked the cheapest room, which I think was a 16-person dorm, but the front desk lady upgraded me to a 12-person one. I even extended my stay for another night.
The environment inside is quite peaceful. Everyone in the common areas is pretty respectful, except for a few loud shouts during billiards sometimes!
Oh, and there were a lot of foreigners, couples mostly, chatting among themselves – it had a nice vibe.
Since it was my first time, I wasn't familiar with everything and didn't prepare toiletries. When I went to shower, I even saw two guys coming out of the same stall, which honestly stunned me a bit.
However, the privacy in the restrooms and shower rooms is excellent; they're all enclosed. The hot water comes on quickly, the water pressure is strong, and everything is clean.
Everyone seemed pretty well-behaved. I mostly kept to myself, though, and didn't really interact with anyone. At one point, a foreigner asked me in English if he could use a stool. I honestly didn't understand anything he said, but I got his meaning and just waved my hand. He must have thought I was refusing him because he started to leave. I was so flustered I couldn't speak, just waving my hands around like fans, trying to convey my meaning. He must have seen my panic and understood, so he moved the stool. Only then could I relax and continue drinking my hot water alone. (I saw the front desk staff, both a guy and a lady, speaking English with the foreigners, and I was so envious! Ugh, I can only read English; I can't understand or speak it. I really need to practice my listening and speaking skills. I'll try my luck again next time.)
Overall, I think it's a pretty good place.
Oh, and its location is fantastic, right by the Bell Tower. But make sure you exit the correct subway station, or else a directionally challenged person like me will spend almost an hour wandering around trying to find it!

GGuest UserI loved the localization of this hostel. It's inside of the Muslim quarter, so you get the full street food experience and there's a lot to see. I feel like the Muslim quarter was the most lively place in the city, and there's always a reason for it: people like me love it! The rooms were very clean and tidy, I liked that there where places for you to but your stuff in the bed space, it felt cozy. The air conditioner worked well, but turned off after some time, which was not super nice. The bathrooms were kind of dirty, with lots of hair in the ground. I get that people shower in the bathroom, but I noticed that even after cleaning staff had just cleaned, there was still hair, and the bathroom was super wet, making it difficult to use. The staff didn't speak english at all, but used translation devices when necessary, which is ok. Overall, it was a good stay and I would do it again, but there could be more attention regarding toilet cleaning.

GGuest UserInitially not as terrible as I had feared despite the low price. The layer of dust I saw when leaving my luggage early (in some corner because there was nobody to talk to) was gone when I checked in later. Place was easy to find (first image, take the elevator to the 5th floor and you're there) and in a very local area. Nice eateries and a small mobile phones and accessories mall turning left then right when leaving the building. Huimin Street and Drum and Bell Towers in walking distance. Free water dispenser and plenty of space in the hostel despite the lack of power outlets at the workspaces. But there comes the problem. The voltage at the power outlet seems elevated, my charger melted and almost caught fire although I used it everywhere else in Asia as well as for several weeks in China already. Other chargers I tried at this place also got extremely hot. They put me in a separate room to prevent another bad review on the potential production of spit, noise, dirt and sometimes even cigarette smoke in the dorms. One bathroom even had a seat toilet. Obviously plenty of smoking in the common area.

GGuest UserThis hostel's location is absolutely fantastic! You can walk straight out and immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere of the Dongcangmen morning market, which is perfect for an authentic breakfast after a morning stroll. The hostel itself is clean, tidy, and tastefully decorated. The common areas are spotless and odor-free, and the staff are incredibly kind and accommodating, making for a truly comfortable stay. It's super convenient for getting around and exploring Xi'an. Staying here really makes your trip stress-free, and I highly recommend it!

KKulandayisuoweierLocated on the second floor next to Luomashi, this place is similar to a university dorm. The sleeping area and washing area are separate, so washing up doesn't disturb those who are sleeping. The transportation is incredibly convenient, making it easy to get to all of Xi'an's attractions. Being right next to Luomashi also means shopping and dining are very accessible. I stayed for three nights and encountered five foreigners, so there's a good concentration of international guests. Each bed has an outlet, a privacy curtain, and a small lamp, which is very convenient. Soundproofing is decent; generally, it's pretty quiet and not too noisy. Next to the front desk, there are slippers for changing into, and you can store your outdoor shoes there, which prevents any odors in the dorm – a nice touch. The bathrooms have disposable toilet seat covers, toilet paper, shower gel, and shampoo, which is good.
Improvements are definitely needed: The impractical trash cans in the women's restroom should be replaced immediately with foot-pedal bins, or the lids should be removed entirely so people can toss things in directly. The current bins are worse than having none at all, as even throwing a hair or a piece of tissue means contaminating my hands. Please install some shelves above the sinks for people to place their belongings, which would also make it easier for the cleaning staff to tidy up the counters. There's a lot of standing water in the showers; improving this would be better. The shower stalls are quite small, and larger individuals might find it hard to turn around, so be prepared for that.

QQuang MinhVery clean and well-organized place. Has a sophisticated and free water dispenser. Plenty of common areas. Can do laundry. There is not much around the hostel but if you know how to use the subway, the bus or your feet, then you can get around. Your roommates might still be inappropriate (I'm sure they smoked in the room although it was forbidden) but that has cultural reasons. There was rather a strict rather than a friendly, family-like atmosphere.

GGuest UserI tried matching the number listed in the confirmation email to the number on the front door of my room, but it didn't unlock, so I ended up having to call Lao Bang.
I felt a bit uneasy and found it quite difficult for a beginner (I had a similar experience).
Although they spoke English, I wondered if it was really necessary to call.
I would have liked some mention of WeChat or something.

GGuest UserI wanted to tell you about this amazing hostel! The co-working space is divided into three sections, plus there's a dedicated study area facing a window, which gives it a really academic, cozy vibe. Everything else feels super comfortable too. The overall environment is incredibly quiet; hardly anyone talks loudly, just soft whispers. They play instrumental music throughout the place, and with the floor-to-ceiling windows and white curtains, you get plenty of sunlight without it being too harsh – it creates such a great atmosphere! The decor is also really nice; there's a whole wall covered in sticky notes, and I saw tons of messages left there. The shared bathrooms are spotless. They're all squat toilets, which are exceptionally clean. Inside, there's air freshener and odor spray, and the sinks have free cotton swabs, hair ties, and cotton pads. Yesterday, I even found out that laundry pods, liquid detergent, and powder detergent are all free to use!

AAnonymous UserThe room didn’t have curtains for the beds, but it was a all female bedroom, so it was fine. I got some clean sheets to make my bed and then went to sleep. I had wifi and next to the room was a small bathroom with a toilet.
The family running the hostel was very nice.
I told the owner my plans for the hike and he told me, I should start earlier, if I wanted to complete the full hike on foot. He also warned me about the rain, which was nice and helpful. We had to communicate with a translator app. The owner offered to help me book a taxi to get to the train station after check out. The hostel itself was very close to the mountain to start the hike on foot to the north peak.
The bed wasn’t the most modern thing & it was a bit hard, but it was fine to sleep there one night for the hike the next day👍
After asking, I was also given an adapter to charge my phone :)
