This hostel has an amazing location! There are several highly-rated restaurants from Dazhong Dianping's must-eat list within 1km. If you're coming to Xi'an for noodles, like me, you absolutely have to choose this place, haha! It's also very clean, and they ask you to change into slippers when you enter. This is the first time I've encountered a hostel that's both affordable and has strict rules (like no smoking, they have a dedicated smoking room). There's an elevator inside the hostel, but you still have to climb a small flight of stairs. The four-person room has eight people sharing two bathrooms. The only minor drawback is that both are Western-style toilets; it would be perfect if one was a squat toilet to accommodate different preferences. It's located in Dapi Lane, basically inside the Muslim Quarter, surrounded by delicious food. The downside to this is that shared bikes aren't allowed to park inside the alley; you have to find a parking spot at the alley entrance. So, no matter if you're taking a taxi or a shared bike, you'll have to walk a bit, but it's only a few hundred meters, so not too far.
I truly recommend this hostel. I'm currently staying at a hostel in another city and constantly missing the facilities and strict rules of this one 😢

What an amazing facility. It’s so clean and festive. The common area is spacious and a perfect setting to enjoy/relax. I appreciated the soft and large towels provided unlike other hostels that only provide disposable towels. The bed was comfortable - I only wish the other guests would respect the quiet time after 11pm. I wasn’t expecting to hear Flo Rida playing out loud in my room. But besides this, I truly enjoyed my time here. The location is excellent, with views of the Bell Tower and right next to the Zhonglue metro station (Line 2/6 - exit A). I highly recommend this hostel if you’re looking for a great deal and a CLEAN facility!

The hotel environment is absolutely fantastic – clean, tidy, and peaceful. The decor is warm and stylish, making for a truly comfortable stay. The service attitude is excellent; the staff are incredibly warm, attentive, and always willing to help, paying great attention to every detail. Room cleanliness is meticulous, spotless, and the bedding is very comfortable, ensuring a completely reassuring stay. Overall, it offers superb value for money, perfect for both travel and vacation. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in town. Highly recommended!

The owner was very kind and had a great attitude. However, the facilities are a bit old, probably because it's been open for a few years. The room was a bit cold, but there was an electric blanket, so it was fine once I was in bed. The price was cheap though, so it wasn't a big deal, and the location was excellent.

I absolutely loved this hostel! The location is super convenient, just a few minutes' walk to the subway station, and surrounded by snack shops and convenience stores. The rooms were clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and odor-free, the common areas were spacious and comfortable, and the living room and kitchen were fully equipped. It was so much fun chatting with fellow travelers from all over the world! The owner was warm and helpful, giving us tons of local travel tips and even helping us store our luggage. The value for money is incredible; I'll definitely stay here again next time. I've already recommended it to friends, and it's definitely worth coming back again and again!

I've been staying here for several days, and it's a really comfortable hotel. The location is super convenient, close to shopping areas and the subway station, so getting around is a breeze. Check-in at the front desk was quick, and the staff were warm, professional, and patiently answered all my questions, making me feel comfortable the moment I walked in. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The bathroom has a separate shower and toilet, toiletries are well-stocked, and the water pressure and temperature are very stable. The room gets plenty of natural light, has an open view, and the overall decor is simple yet elegant, with great attention to detail.

The environment is very clean, the small space on the bed is also very tidy, there are lockable cabinets, and the overall style looks like a small apartment. There is not much noise after 11 o'clock. You can order takeout, and the introduction is also very comprehensive.

The best accommodation choice for an immersive Xi'an experience, bar none! 🌟
Staying right by the Bell Tower is an immersive way to experience the ancient city itself. The subway and food street are right downstairs, making it incredibly easy to plan routes to all the attractions since everything revolves around the Bell Tower. The public areas offer a direct view of the Bell Tower's night scenery; watching the brightly lit ancient architecture at night instantly helps you understand Xi'an's romance.
The room has a traditional Chinese style, perfectly matching Xi'an's historical atmosphere. Yet, modern conveniences like a smart toilet and a wet/dry separated bathroom are also provided. The cleanliness is reassuring, and the daily complimentary mineral water and attentive service make you feel very welcome.
It's exceptionally quiet at night, and the cotton bedding is very comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. I saw many foreign guests staying here too, which speaks to the hotel's inclusivity and good reputation. Staying here not only saves travel time but also allows for a deeper immersion into Xi'an's life. Highly recommended for travelers who truly want to experience Xi'an!

The experience was poor, despite the excellent location, complete facilities, and low price. The service was subpar, and I won't be returning.
Deposit: The deposit is 50 yuan. Regardless of check-out time, it's refunded around 2-3 PM the same day (assuming no deductions are needed). Not having the deposit settled or confirmed as okay in person is concerning. If a dispute arises after leaving, the customer is in a very passive position. I really disliked this.
Shoe Policy: You have to change shoes upon entry, and your own shoes must be left at the door, not taken to the room. When I asked what happens if shoes get lost, the staff didn't answer. For 200-300 yuan shoes, maybe it's fine, but what about 500, 700, or even 1000+ yuan shoes? Leaving them at the door, with no locked cabinet, not allowing them in the room, and without anyone taking responsibility if they get lost, is very unsettling.
Compensation Notices Everywhere: Notices stated a 200 yuan per square meter compensation fee if water from the shower spills onto the floor due to not closing the curtain. Also, the sink couldn't be pressed forcefully, or compensation would be required if it broke. The shower design is flawed, potentially causing water overflow, yet guests are charged for it. The sink is flimsy, and instead of fixing it, guests are expected to be extra careful or pay for damages. Staying here means being constantly on edge (don't stain the sheets, don't break anything, be afraid of water overflowing from the shower, don't press the sink, change shoes upon entry). It's nerve-wracking, impossible to relax, and the experience was very bad.
Risk of Electric Shock: Halfway through my shower, I saw a notice saying to pull the shower curtain to avoid the risk of electric shock! So, I was literally risking my life while showering! Even with the curtain pulled, there were gaps between the curtain and the wall, so water could still splash onto the switches. This is a problem a simple plastic cover could solve, yet it gambles with guests' lives. I wouldn't dare come back; I've never stayed in such a dangerous place. It might be 30 yuan a night, but it could cost you your life.
Lighting: The entire corridor was very dim, with many energy-saving lights. Instead of bright and welcoming, the pervasive dimness made me uncomfortable. I don't like a dim atmosphere. The owner is very frugal. I turned on a spotlight, and the owner turned it off, replacing it with a dimmer light. The reason, again, was about money. The experience was very poor.
Free Snacks/Massage Chairs/Toilet Paper: Despite the extreme energy saving, there were free snacks in the lobby. There was also a large TV for casual viewing, along with free coffee and tea. Toilet paper was provided in the restrooms. The bedding was clean, and slippers were disinfected after each guest. For me, the biggest highlight was the massage chair, which worked perfectly and was very relaxing after a day of sightseeing.
In my room, there weren't many tourists; mostly regular guests. Perhaps they were studying for postgraduate exams, unemployed, or on long leave. Everyone had their curtains drawn, so there wasn't much interaction. The room was facing the street and very noisy, and people tended to sleep late.
Those who can accept all of the above might consider staying here.

GGuest UserInitially not as terrible as I had feared despite the low price. The layer of dust I saw when leaving my luggage early (in some corner because there was nobody to talk to) was gone when I checked in later. Place was easy to find (first image, take the elevator to the 5th floor and you're there) and in a very local area. Nice eateries and a small mobile phones and accessories mall turning left then right when leaving the building. Huimin Street and Drum and Bell Towers in walking distance. Free water dispenser and plenty of space in the hostel despite the lack of power outlets at the workspaces. But there comes the problem. The voltage at the power outlet seems elevated, my charger melted and almost caught fire although I used it everywhere else in Asia as well as for several weeks in China already. Other chargers I tried at this place also got extremely hot. They put me in a separate room to prevent another bad review on the potential production of spit, noise, dirt and sometimes even cigarette smoke in the dorms. One bathroom even had a seat toilet. Obviously plenty of smoking in the common area.

GGuest UserThe location is great, right next to the Dongcangmen morning market, making it super convenient to explore. What I liked most was how incredibly clean everything was – the beds, bathroom, and common areas were all spotless and fresh, with no unpleasant odors, which was really reassuring. The facilities are excellent and well-equipped, including blackout curtains, lockers, charging ports, and a night light. The hot water supply is consistent, ensuring a comfortable and worry-free stay. It offers incredible value for money!

GGuest UserI tried matching the number listed in the confirmation email to the number on the front door of my room, but it didn't unlock, so I ended up having to call Lao Bang.
I felt a bit uneasy and found it quite difficult for a beginner (I had a similar experience).
Although they spoke English, I wondered if it was really necessary to call.
I would have liked some mention of WeChat or something.
GGuest UserThis was my first time booking Sifang Space, and it was indeed just as advertised online. The staff at check-in were very thorough in explaining all the details beforehand. The room thoughtfully provided water and earplugs, and for female guests, sanitary pads were available for pickup at the front desk. Both the rooms and common areas were very quiet, with everyone being self-disciplined and considerate. I felt completely relaxed and was able to truly clear my mind without any disturbances. It was an absolutely wonderful experience. If I return to Xi'an, I would definitely choose Sifang Space again. The environment was also excellent, exactly matching the pictures posted on the platform. I didn't get a chance to take many photos, but that certainly doesn't affect my genuine positive impression.
