My husband and I stayed at the Sleepy J cabins about 10 years ago. Fast forward to 2024, we were coordinating meeting up with some friends to fish and camp but needed a place on the 4th of July. Y’all had an open cabin that would accommodate our group and we booked it immediately. We arrived about 4:30 on the 4th and Angel welcomed us and gave us some tips on good fishing holes and where to get the best coffee! She was awesome! The room was clean and we were rested for our next leg of our adventure.
I loved waking up to the cows across the highway. :)

The hotel room is accessible to the river but be aware of mosquito and insects. No idea why the Aircon was auto shut off after few minutes. I have no idea why the coffee maker is placed at restroom.

Guest UserThe hotel is about 24 kilometers away from the west gate of Yellowstone Park. There is a gas station next to it, which is convenient for driving. The hotel is clean and sanitary, the rooms are spacious, and the breakfast has hot food and cream soup. The breakfast fee is about 17 US dollars per person including tax in the morning. The disadvantage is that the house is made of wood, and the people walking upstairs can be heard clearly downstairs, which will affect people who have trouble sleeping.

There is no checkin before 7 pm, and if you don't call to inform, you will be fined. We called to inform the other party because we were late in visiting Yellowstone. The surrounding ecology is very, very good. When I checked in at night, because there were lights on the deck, it was all dense and dense with various bugs. When I looked up, I could see the Milky Way as many as a cow's hair.
There is really nothing around, and the road near the destination does not even reduce the speed limit.
