The staff were very helpful even though it was nearly the end of the season. My room on the first floor (no lift) had an electric kettle and mugs, a small refrigerator and a hair dryer. It was a double room with a balcony. (I was on my own but there is no discount for single occupancy, but this appears to be normal everywhere). The room might seem small to some, but I found it's compact design, including large walk in shower, separate wash basin and separate toilet, very acceptable. Maps of the island and the town are provided in reception. The guest house is very close to the town centre, a short walk down a little hill and you are immediately in all the little streets that run down towards the port and front. There are many cafes and restaurants on the front, just be aware you will always pay more to drink or eat at these and there are plenty of bars and restaurants just a little inland. Think twice about hiring a car because the bus service is excellent. NB This is for Trip.com: you were not very helpful when I received a message regarding opening times for reception, which meant my flight would arrive too late in the afternoon to get into 8Kto. I used your live chat and was told to use the 8Kto number to which I could never get a response. I tried live chat again and was assured that you would find out what I should do before my arrival date (mid-September) - you never did. Using the net I finally found an email address for the guest house and they immediately responded to my message, giving me instructions on how to get in and find my room when I arrive. Surely you should have been able to give me the email address in the first place, especially as you advertise your service as always giving immediate support to travellers.

Staff are very friendly and brought forward the breakfast time earlier to accommodate our commuting schedule. There’s a swimming pool although we didn’t use it. Decent and good breakfast variety given it’s a guesthouse. Beds are too soft and rooms needs to be updated however that give the homely feel.

A lovely family hotel. The room I got was homely and warm, everything was clean and tasteful. Good breakfast at a really cheap price I arrived injured and in bad shape, and the hotel owner treated me like I was her family member. It's encouraging to meet such good people. I will definitely come back here again. I must mention the bed which was extremely large and comfortable.

Lovely location, easy to go to town and everywhere. The only problem is the tiny bathroom. You must be skinny, otherwise need to step into shower area, then close the bathroom door. Shower curtains was too short. All water on floor when shower. Could not put bath mat in the bathroom.

Every aspect except the shower facility met our expectations. The shower is unsafe due to and unexpected dip and very slippery. No overhead facility and not hand rail to assist you to stand up if you are expected to sit.

The hotel was very clean and close to the center of the town. The staff was very friendly and helped us in every possible way. We will for sure visit this hotel again in the future!!!

It was a fashionable and wide 々 elegant room. The location was great near the entrance of the hiking course to the Agia Triada Abbey, and the service was good, such as having a carry case kept after checking out. The only amenities such as shampoo were hard to use, but Greece may be like that everywhere.

Excellent! A perfect score! I was satisfied with everything – the design, cleanliness, amenities, etc. Not luxurious, but elegant and tidy, new without being tacky. There's parking available in front, but it was full, so you'd have to go elsewhere. The service was excellent, and breakfast was delivered to the room! The only minor flaw… no blankets… only a comforter. Not ideal for someone like me who gets cold easily. Overall, I was very satisfied; a very warm and memorable experience. Enjoying the breeze on the small balcony at night was wonderful. The balcony overlooks the mountain rocks, and the location is in a lively part of the town, making shopping and dining extremely convenient. Also, the name ”Storyteller” is absolutely brilliant. For someone who works in storytelling, this hotel felt like it was made for me. Unfortunately, the bookshelves were filled with Greek books, which I couldn't understand.
