Homestays in Upper Austria, Austria

The hotel is actually a boutique B&B. The facilities and room sizes are better in the town. The lake view from the window is beautiful, but the hotel is not in the most central location of the town. It is on the hillside. Fortunately, the whole town is not big, and it is less than 200 meters to the town center or the town entrance for the best photos and check-ins.

The hotel has a great location; we arrived by train and it was just a short walk from the station. The hotel has a direct bus to Hallstatt, which is very convenient. The kitchen is fully equipped, perfect for those who prefer Chinese food, and the dishwasher is a great help after meals. The only thing to note is that there is no hairdryer in the room; please contact the front desk in advance to avoid discovering this after showering.

This hotel really elevated our trip in the surrounding area. The room came with a nice environment, a shared kitchen for reheating food, with a nice dining area with great Mountain Views and. All the rooms have heating and AC, and the hotel was also very close to the train station. The hotel owners are also always eager to help you. the highlight of this stay was when Jasmin helped us plan our activities during our stay, with an annotated map and local insight. This really saved us from headaches and research regarding our visit to the area.

Beautiful setting and a cute town in the heart of the Austrian Alps Lake District. The breakfast was great with many selections. Parking is a bit of a problem with limited space for unloading only near the hotel. Highly recommend this location for easy access to Bad Ischl and Hallstättersee without the crowds.

The owner is very friendly! The room was comfortable and clean, and the warm wooden floor didn't feel cold underfoot. The only downside is that the stairs are narrow, so you need to be careful if you have heavy luggage, but the owner will help carry it upstairs!

The room was clean, the room partition was great, there was a kitchen to cook by yourself, not far from the supermarket
