I requested an ocean-view room, but my English wasn't good enough to explain it properly. I was disappointed when I got a room on the opposite side of the sea. However, they put me on a high floor, and I could see the World Heritage site from my window, which was amazing! 😊 Although it felt a bit old, that added to its historical charm. It was clean everywhere, and the breakfast had a great variety and was delicious. I made some wonderful memories there.

We booked a Fort King Suite for a celebration. Here's what stood out: The positive feedback: Ground floor staff and the security team were warm and welcoming. Housekeepers were kind and helpful, though they didn't replace our toothbrushes and slippers during cleaning. Not a huge issue, but should be a standard for a 4-star hotel. Food was great, and the breakfast buffet trainees/new hire outshined everyone—they actively greeted and assisted us while old staff just stood by watching. The negative part: No welcome chocolates at check-in despite what was advertised for the room type booked. The AC had weak airflow even at max settings and was leaking; the maintenance guy tried but failed—same airflow as before. We then asked a lady housekeeper for help, and she managed to fix the issue, which was unexpected since maintenance should have been the one to handle it. But it eventually returned to its original weak airflow after an hour or two. We decided to let it go rather than ruin our trip. The real problem occurred from the 3rd floor and 5th floor—it felt hostile. One non-straight/fruity guy receptionist rolled his eyes when I smiled at him and a female colleague glared at me then looked away. Most staff looked miserable. I could sense that there is some kind of feud among the staff that is affecting their behavior, because I saw them gossiping with each other while they were on duty. They're either gossiping about their colleagues or about other guests, and it's very off-putting. It ruins the vibe and is not very professional. This must be stopped. Most of them will just ignore you when there’s less guests around, but if there are too many guests around, only then will they perform their duties and show hospitality. I've stayed at many 4–5 star hotels; this was my worst 4-star experience. I would not mind if the property were in bad condition—you could have saved the reputation by being kind and warm to your guests. Instead, the negative energy made the experience even worse. Wish I'd trusted those bad reviews. To management: Retrain your old employees. The new hires remember what hospitality means; your tenured staff don't. Thanks to ground floor staff, guards, security dogs, housekeepers, trainees/new hires, and kitchen crew—you saved this stay from being a total loss. Hope that 3rd floor reception team learns basic courtesy and hospitality from you.

Nice hotel. Stayed in premier king room and very satisfied because the room has been updated and looks and feels fantastic Nice big sized room Ordered room service and there was nice Malaysian food menu and the food was awesome In a neighborhood that has restaurants, cafes everywhere all within walking I would recommend the management to update or upgrade the reception area because it would make the hotel look better The reception lobby is First Impression, however currently it doesn't correspond to the quality of the room.

We were initially assigned in Room 0238 but the room smelled moldly. I complained so we were shown two other rooms where we can transfer. The other room was also smelly and the other room, Room 0220 was slightly better so we chose Room 0220. Unfortunately, after a few minutes the air freshener they sprayed wore off and the room started to smell worse than the 0238. It had a strong smell of a stinky feet. We complained so they asked us to check a room on the 10th floor but it was also smelly. I also want to share that as soon as we got out of the elevator on the 10th floor we immediately smelled the pungent smell of durian mixed with the smell of old carpet. We moved to the 7th floor and finally settled in Room 0703. It was the room with the least smell, tolerable smell. Tolerable enough for me to sleep. Rooms generally in this hotel is smelly and dirty but I guess that’s what you get for paying cheap. I would commend their staff though. The staff we EXTREMELY KIND and HELPFUL throughout the whole experience. They were patient and understanding when I refused to stay in any of the rooms that was stinky. We had to leave early rhe next day so we needed to take a cab to take us across to NAIA T3. we didn’t book the hotel bus the night prior but the staff in-charge made some exceptions and made a special trip for 4 people. I truly and deeply appreciate the people working in this hotel.

I cannot count how many times we checked in to kingsford. This is our go to hotel. Whenever we feel the want to relax we book our stay here.People and service here are superb. They also respond quickly to emails. I just wish they have this loyalty card for us who frequently book a stay here.

Budget hotel Positive: Comfortable Room & Excellent Housekeeping: Overall, my stay in the hotel room was very pleasant. A special shoutout to the housekeeping team—they did a fantastic job keeping the room spotlessly clean, fresh, and well-stocked throughout my stay. Their hard work and warm attitude truly made a difference! Areas for Improvement: Breakfast Buffet: The breakfast buffet was quite disappointing. The food felt cheap, with poor quality, limited food available and low-grade ingredients. That said, considering the hotel's very affordable rates, a basic breakfast is somewhat understandable, but a slight upgrade in food quality would go a long way. Pool Maintenance: The swimming pool area was not well maintained and could definitely use more regular cleaning and care to make it enjoyable for guests.

We only had two days in Manila for the grand finale of our honeymoon before heading back to China. The vibe? Total luxury. We crashed at Discovery Primea, right in the heart of Makati. Our room was spacious, super comfy, and the 24/7 room service was basically a honeymoon dream come true 😂. Just outside the hotel, you're spoiled for choice: a lush park for morning strolls, tons of restaurants, and a massive shopping mall (Glorietta Mall, Ayala Center, Makati—open daily from 10AM to 9PM). We hit up the supermarket inside for a Filipino snacks haul, so our suitcase was loaded with local goodies for the trip home. Why we liked it: - Perfect central location—steps from cafes, shops, and all the action - Rooms are big and super comfy, with ultra-soft beds - Everything is spotless! Clean and fresh vibes everywhere - Loads of restaurants around Discovery Primea—just stroll and pick whatever looks tempting - Stock up on Filipino snacks at Glorietta Mall for the perfect souvenir 📌 Tips - Grab rides are easy and safe—plus, you can pay with Alipay - Don’t stress over the service in some spots, just chase the good food! - Discovery Primea is super convenient for both exploring Makati and chilling out - Double check your bill for extra charges at hotels or restaurants, just in case

The location is quite good; it's convenient to simply stroll around the business center or get to places of interest. Manila experiences terrible traffic from the afternoon until late at night, so keep that in mind when planning your trips. The staff is very polite and helpful. The pool turned out to be a bit smaller in reality than it appeared in the photos, but overall, everything is solid and good. I've attached photos of the view from our room and at the pool. I recommend the massage offered at the hotel; they have good therapists.

Hotel vibe is very youthful. Hotel staff are helpful and enthusiastic at assisting. There’s a common kitchen that’s very useful should you stay longer. Location is good since it’s close to everything but quite apprehensive at night, alleys leading to hotel are dark.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stayed at Lanson Place Manila for the One Piece Run and the location was absolutely perfect! The race village was literally right in front of the hotel,making everything so effortless—no traffic, no early commute, just walk out and you're there. ✨ The hotel is modern, elegant, and very comfortable, with spacious rooms and a lovely upscale feel. Perfect for a relaxing stay before and after an event. Beautiful hotel, unbeatable location, and excellent convenience. Would definitely stay again!🤍
