The hygiene, environment, and service were excellent, nothing to complain about. Initially, I was given a room on the right-hand corridor off the elevator. Rooms in this location are directly on a thoroughfare, so the sounds of people talking and walking were incredibly loud. I didn't get any sleep that night. When I tried to communicate with the front desk, my English wasn't great, so the communication was a bit difficult. Luckily, Trip.com actively helped us communicate and eventually arranged a quiet room. However, there was a female staff member at the pool who seemed to discriminate against Chinese people. She clearly served two drinks at 9 PM, but when she saw I was Chinese, she insisted it was only one, while foreigners received two. This kind of service staff can bring a lot of negative impact to the hotel. I hope the hotel takes this seriously. Most importantly, the hotel's beach is extremely small, and the hotel itself is quite isolated. You can only stay within the hotel premises; going out requires a car. When booking hotels abroad, don't book too many days at once. If you need to check out early, Trip.com always gives evasive answers, saying the hotel won't allow refunds, implying that Trip.com has signed unfair clauses with the hotel.

had a pleasant stay! managed to get our room early with no added charges & loved that the lifts always came fast~ airconditioning in the room also worked well. location was great! only 10 mins stroll to the massive Ayala Center Mall which has so many things & always took less than 1 min to secure a Grab from the hotel to get around Cebu City the staff also always helped us get the door & our luggages, thank you Mandarin Plaza!

We had a wonderful stay at Mercure Mactan and were very happy with our experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located in Mactan Newtown, where there are plenty of food options, restaurants, and cafes, all just a short walk from the hotel. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We were also celebrating a birthday during our stay, and the hotel kindly prepared a simple cake for us, which we really appreciated. It was a lovely little touch that made the celebration more special. Another great thing is that guests can enjoy access to the pool and beach in Mactan Newtown, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The only area that could be improved is the breakfast selection, but it wasn’t a major issue and didn’t take away from our overall experience. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely consider coming back!

Although I checked in quite late and was unable to experience all of the services, I was still very satisfied with my stay. All of the staff were incredibly considerate, but what impressed me the most was how they always greeted and assisted guests with a genuine smile. They did their best to accommodate every request, so I honestly found it difficult to have anything to complain about. Perhaps because the weather wasn’t ideal, I felt that the hotel’s exterior had a much stronger visual impact than the view from inside the room.

The Hotel and staff did really well during the Sinulog festival! They organised workshop and provided gifts and souvenirs. It is also very close to one of the main festival areas. The only disappointment was the kaldereta we ordered from the kitchen which was ridiculously small amount (1 piece of meat). However there are many restaurants nearby. Hairdryer needs extra payment of 100 peso per night.

I had such a wonderful experience staying at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, everything felt comfortable, welcoming, and well taken care of. The staff were very friendly, accommodating, and professional throughout our stay. They were always willing to assist whenever we needed something, and their warm attitude really made a difference. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for a relaxing stay. Everything was well maintained, and the bed was especially comfortable, which made it easy to get a good night’s sleep after a long day. I also appreciated how clean the bathroom and other areas of the room were. You can really tell that the hotel puts effort into maintaining a good standard of cleanliness. The location was also convenient, making it easy for us to get around and access nearby places. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was peaceful and relaxing, which made our stay even more enjoyable. What I appreciated most was the overall service. Sometimes a hotel can have beautiful rooms, but it’s the staff and the little details that really make the experience memorable. Here, we felt genuinely welcomed and well looked after. Any questions or requests we had were handled politely and efficiently. Overall, I’m very happy with our stay and would definitely consider coming back again. It was a comfortable, pleasant, and stress-free experience from beginning to end. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable place with friendly staff and great service. First off, the complimentary club lounge access at NUSTAR is a huge plus. The room condition was excellent, and the butler service was great too. I'd definitely consider staying again.

The best stay we had was at this resort in Cebu,we booked a villa and it was absolutely amazing experience. We had private room for our breakfast and had special cocktail and canapes which was amazing .The restaurant food was also so good.The in room breakfast Setup was done well ,all services in the villa was excellent . Resort is beautiful and very peaceful aswell.The spa treatment was excellent. Service for drop of to the airport was so convenient aswell. The staff are so lovely, friendly and so helpful.This place is a dream will definitely would love to come back and stay again.

the pool wasn't maintain well, it was hazy, blurry water...the aquaplay pool was dirty...water was dirty...seems it wasnt filtered.... the railings were rusted..parts of the hotel was left unmaintained though staffs were friendly and accommodating... I hope they can make up for the things they need to repair.or change... Maybe they should change water in their pools.... Kindda itchy already to the skin

It was very clean and had a wonderful exotic atmosphere, typical of Cebu. Although the beach wasn't very clean, I had originally planned to enjoy the pool and the ambiance, so it wasn't a major issue. However, the path from the front desk to the room and to the pool was sandy, which meant my shoes quickly got covered in sand, and that was a bit of a drawback.
