On the day of check-in, I arrived very late and said that I wanted a quiet room, so I was sent to the innermost corner. When I entered the door, the curtains were not tight, and I felt that it was even worse. I asked for a room change. Fortunately, changing the room was fairly fast, but the room downstairs was changed, because there was a block on the second floor balcony, so the lighting was not good at all. The three meals I ate didn't have a day because the breakfast ended at 10 o'clock. The lunch and dinner were similar, and there was nothing to eat. I didn't see any seafood except grilled fish. The pictures were deceptive. There are quite a few places to play, but the water in another pool with a slide is cold, so it can only be displayed.

Sorry for the long review, but I wanted to be as informative as possible and share the information I would have liked to know before booking. This was my 5th trip to Marrakesh and my first stay at Savoy Le Grand. I was quite nervous booking after reading some negative reviews, but overall I had a very pleasant experience. From the moment we stepped out of the taxi, we were warmly welcomed by Salah (concierge) and the Moroccan tea man in reception. From check-in to check-out (4 days later), all staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Everyone we encountered spoke Arabic, French, and English, which made communication very easy. The foyer is beautiful, and the grounds are extremely well cared for—even more beautiful than expected. That said, there is ongoing construction and upgrades, which are not mentioned on the website. This is currently their quiet season, and the main construction is above the reception building, which is being extended upwards. Noise started daily around 9:15am, drilling around 9:38am, and finished around 6:30pm. Estimated completion is 1 May 2026. If you request a room near the second smaller pool, the noise is much less noticeable. The noise is louder and echoes more around the main pool due to the square layout. The hotel has four pools: two outdoor and two indoor. One indoor pool is heated and includes jacuzzi jets. There is also an additional indoor jacuzzi at the spa, charged at MAD 250 per person for one hour. There are three à la carte restaurants on site: Moroccan, International, and Italian. Directly outside the hotel are a supermarket, Paul, Chilli’s, and Papa John’s. Please note that outside food is not allowed inside the hotel. There is an ATM in reception and direct access to Menara Mall, which closes at 10pm. Special thanks to Nabil at reception, who did an excellent job checking us in. He listened carefully to my needs and arranged early check-in to a ground-floor room close to the restaurants, spa, and gym, with a garden and pool view. Soundproofing from the pool area was good, although hallway noise does travel. The grounds are beautiful, but the ground-floor rooms occasionally had a sewage smell, which I’ve also experienced at other Moroccan hotels. We did experience a few issues with our first room (heating not working, leaking fridge, slow-draining sink). Without us needing to complain, Soukayna from guest relations came first thing the next morning and immediately arranged for us to move to a beautiful suite. This level of customer service, care, and attentiveness is exactly what you expect from a 5-star hotel. In the evening there’s live entertainment music in the bar and outside a light & water fountain display. The suite was stunning—very spacious, with a separate living area, two balconies, lots of storage, mini fridge, large sofa, king-size bed, two TVs, kettle, coffee machine, safe, bathrobes and slippers. The bathroom had two sinks (standard rooms have one), plenty of toiletries (no washcloths), a large shower with both handheld and waterfall options, and excellent water pressure. There wasn’t much space to hang items, and there is a bidet hose beside the toilet. Thank you to the head cleaning lady for the final touches and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. I’d like to thank all the staff for providing us with a wonderful stay. I love the Moroccan people—they are humble, kind, and always willing to help. Despite the construction, I achieved my goal of relaxation and a short break. This is now my new favourite hotel in Marrakesh, and I will definitely return and recommend it to friends and family

The staff were very welcoming and friendly overall. We got a spacious room and the bathroom was huge. Cleanliness was top notch. There are a lot of swimming pool, and we never had a hard time finding sunbeds available. The interior heated pool was beautiful and very calm because it is adult only. We enjoyed the padel court and the other facilities. We had a lot of fun at the Aquapark (plenty of water slides to choose from). There are three main restaurants (Asian, Morrocan and ”international”). The Asian buffet is quite smaller and didn't have a nice range of dishes. The international one is bigger and has more choices but tends to be repetitive. The Morrocan was also a bit small but the quality was great. Overall food was ok. There are some animations throughout the day (ends at 10pm ish) for the kids and for adults which were pleasant and fun. We spent a great weekend and made good memories at this hotel. We definitely recommend!

The service is very good. You can go to the spa and soak in the hot springs. The service attitude is very good. Most of the staff can speak English.

This is a very worthwhile hotel. It can be said to be the highlight of the entire trip to Morocco. Each room is an independent Riad courtyard. The service is friendly but not overly enthusiastic. Except for the average food, the environment can be said to be impeccable. Marrakech is actually quite dirty and messy as a whole. The inside and outside of the hotel can be said to be two different worlds. If I come to Marrakech next time, I will still consider staying here!

My first time for me and my wife with the 2 kids to try All inclusive Hotel. This serves to commend on the excellent service rendered by your friendly hotel’s staff during our stay from 5 February through 9 February 2025. The room allocations were done with effortless ease as we arrived there. The Superb Facilities start from Warm Swimming Pool, Aqua Park, Footbal Field, Tennis Court,Basketball Court, Mini Golf, Table Tennis, Kids Playground. And also standing applause for All of Entertainment teams. The chambermaids did and outstanding job in ensuring that the rooms were in order and cleaned. Additionally, the buffets served for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack time were highly sumptuous as we had a hearty time indulging in the array of varieties. Thankyou, we will definitely come back to this hotel.

I was looking for an all-inclusive hotel with a bathtub and found this one. It cost 80 MAD to take a taxi from the city center, which took about 20 minutes. A taxi from the hotel to the city center costs 150 MAD. There is a hotel shuttle bus to the city center, but it costs 15 MAD per person one way, has a set time, and is fully booked on the day, so I recommend taking a taxi. The staff at the bar and restaurant were all very friendly and worked efficiently. There were no amenities such as slippers, toothbrushes, or bathrobes. Also, the power supply was European, so I purchased a transformer for 80 MAD at the shop in the hotel. The restaurant venue was buffet style for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and there was all-you-can-drink white, rosé, and red wine. From a Japanese perspective, this facility and service is unbelievable for this price, so if you have the time, I highly recommend staying here at least once.

I stayed at Sofitel Marrakech Palais Imperial, and it offers a truly beautiful and luxurious hotel experience. The room I stayed in was very elegant and reflected the spirit of Marrakech perfectly. It is a hotel I would confidently recommend, whether for a family vacation or a business trip. I would also like to thank Ms. Imane for her kind assistance during check-in. She was very helpful and welcoming. The overall ambiance of the hotel is wonderful. It has large gardens and beautiful swimming pools, and I believe everyone can enjoy their time here comfortably. However, I do not think it is the right hotel policy to charge an extra fee for using the indoor spa pool.

The room was very clean, and the location was excellent. It was super convenient to catch a taxi right outside, and the area felt very safe. The view from the room was also beautiful.
