Hotels With Gym in Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan

The hotel is quite new, and the room is spacious with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. We had no problem opening two 28-inch suitcases. It's right next to the JR station, just a 1-minute walk via a covered walkway, so bad weather isn't an issue. Being connected to a mall makes dining and shopping very convenient. The breakfast, however, was just average with limited choices. You'd find more and better options at the downstairs coffee shop or inside the JR station itself, and they're not expensive. The top floor only has an indoor hot spring, no outdoor one. The service was excellent, and the lobby is grand and bright with floor-to-ceiling windows, which was very pleasant to look at.

I wanted to take it easy, so I took a relaxing solo trip nearby. I stayed at Hotel Shirasagi because I had great memories of a friend holding his wedding there a long time ago. The exterior is a little old, but the rooms and baths were clean and nice! This time I only stayed for breakfast, but there are izakayas and convenience stores nearby, so it's easy to do some shopping. Afterwards, I went to the hot springs with a friend on another day. I recommend it.

On the mountain, there are no lights on the mountain road at night. Please pay attention to safety when driving. There is a big bathhouse, which is good. On the day of check-in, I was surprised to have fireworks. I watched the fireworks at the memorial platform at a very close distance. It was awesome, but I didn’t know it beforehand. ,Ha ha.
