The room is spacious and the bed is comfortable. The location is fantastic as it offers free parking and close to a famous bakery, Costco and Sky lagoon. The breakfast is a typical Nordic breakfast which is very nice. Staff are warm and friendly. I will definitely come back again.
My stay at this hotel completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was captivated by its unique Nordic design aesthetic—understated luxury yet warm and inviting.
The most delightful surprise was the water quality. Soaking in the warm pool in sub-zero temperatures while gazing at the aurora borealis dancing in the night sky was an unforgettable, magical experience. Every detail in the room was impeccable. The underfloor heating system kept the room perpetually warm, and the handcrafted Icelandic wool blankets were incredibly soft. The local guide was exceptionally professional, planning a stunning Golden Circle route for us, avoiding the crowds.
This stay was not just a comfortable retreat, but also one of the most precious memories of my Iceland trip. I highly recommend it to every traveler seeking quality and unique experiences.
We chose to stay here on the first and last nights, mainly because parking was convenient and free, the room was quite new, and the breakfast was average. But the room was soundproofed and satisfactory.
This hotel offers great value for money. It's in an excellent location, facing a small square and near a lake, and just a 10-minute walk from Hallgrímskirkja Church. There are also many fantastic restaurants in the vicinity. The hotel doesn't have its own parking, so you'll need to use a nearby public car park. The rooms aren't huge, but they are clean, and the front desk service is excellent.
Decent place for a decent price, but one thing I really dislike is that they don't allow guests to fill up coffee or even hot water for our own bottles. All of the other hotels I stayed in Iceland don't care about this. I won't stay at this hotel again.
Free parking, just downstairs
On the way, I saw Iceland's special piggy supermarket, it is convenient to buy a piggy.
Completely Self check in, I have communicated with anyone from the first day to the last day, and the social fear is absolutely favorite
A once-in-a-lifetime trip made more meaningful and charming by world-leading staff and service.
We messaged ahead and told them that we were on our honeymoon. Iceland is a unique place on Earth, but almost as surprising as the geology, geography and weather was just how remarkable and excellent this hotel was. Its location was outstanding right in the old city centre and an easy walk to boat trips (for organised bus trips, which all use the same bus stop numbering, the nearest bus stop is number 5, about 5 minutes’ walk away), the breakfast was splendid and the room was unbelievably cosy, which was particularly welcome after a winter’s day adventuring amongst the ice and snow and especially the epic and cold wind.
This once-in-a-lifetime trip was made extraordinarily special by the outstanding and attentive staff who really impressed with their thoughtfulness and commitment to excellence throughout. We cannot thank the whole team enough, both everyone we met as well as everyone who worked behind the scenes, for delivering a world-leading stay.
We felt exceptionally lucky to have chosen this hotel, and so delighted that we did!
The front desk staff were incredibly friendly, and the room and towels were very clean. It was super convenient having bus stop #13 for tourists right next to the hotel, and #9 and #12 were only a 5-minute walk away, which was great for local tours. Being at the edge of the city center made shopping easy. The spa was a highlight, with both indoor and outdoor pools, perfect for unwinding. There's also a dry sauna. Just a heads-up, the spa facilities are co-ed, so swimwear is a must.
Highly recommended, great location, great Service. Although the room was a bit small, but given the room Rate was quite affordable in Reykjavik, This hotel is certainly great Value for money.

Great
SsindhupFoss hotel Reykjavik is a great place, conveniently located next to Bus stop 12 where all the tour operators pick up and drop off as well as Fly bus tdrop off and pick up. The hotel is very clean and safe. I have a fantastic experience with the staff in front desk and house keeping. I was a solo traveller and I asked guidance to the front desk on some places that i wanted to go within and near Reykjavik. Tge front desk staff, he gave me suggestions and helped me book the show ticket. He gave me clear instructions and seeing my lost look , even gave me the hootel phone numbers to call him in case I run into trouble. But thanks to his clear guidance I managed to navigate well and had a great day out. This hotel is about 15 to 20mrs from city centre by walk. One day I forgot my gold chain in the room. But the housekeeping folks while cleaning did not even touch any valuable stuff that i left. It is really a very reliable and safe hotel. They have a restaurant that serves delicioys food. I ate their fish and chips and chicken salad. Both were great. The breakfast has a good spread. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The best part is still the excellent service from the staff. My trip got rebooked and i had multiple correspondence with the staff and they were always prompt and reassuring. The only downside of the whole stay was my room. I got a corner room which had a slanted corner shape, meaning a triangle cut off from a rectangle. Though nicely laid out, i felt claustrophobic as the room size was much smaller. That room is not ideal, especially if not solo.

KKEVINLEEWhile not in the absolute city center, the hotel's facilities, breakfast, and service are all excellent. Getting around is easy: there are several bus routes directly across the street that go downtown. For airport transfers, the Flybus service connects to a shuttle that drops you off right at the hotel. Good day tours and island excursions also provide convenient pick-up and drop-off from the lobby. A majority of the guests are American, and the restaurant primarily offers Western dishes.

GGuest UserStrategic location. Near Bus Station #9 which is easy to access for flybys pick up & drop off and all the tours pick up & drop off. Walking distance to many attractions and eateries.
The room is okay, clean and tidy, has basic amenities.

Ffiona-ttangI stayed at two hotels in Lei City, and this one had a great location, excellent room facilities, and a fantastic breakfast. They also have beautiful public areas, and all the staff were very friendly. The restaurant staff, in particular, were professional and welcoming, clearing plates promptly. The breakfast quality was high. The only downside was that the curtains didn't fully block out the light.
ZZhangmeiling 719The environment is great, and it's not too far from the bus terminal, right near Pearl Tower. I even saw the Northern Lights from my bed at night!
Mmizuki99It was better than my friend and I expected! The hotel environment and service attitude were very good. When we were traveling in the south, we found that the power bank had fallen in the hotel. Because we changed hotels after returning from the south, we were in a hurry to catch the flight the next day. After contacting the hotel, the hotel staff actually helped us deliver it to the front desk of another hotel where we were staying! Super touched!! And the facilities and room environment are really good in Iceland
