We were delighted with our spacious 32 m² Standard Room, which was exceptionally comfortable and thoughtfully designed, providing a truly relaxing stay. The hotel is nice – it's located on the coast, has a pool with sun loungers and music, and they provide towels. It has private access to the sea and a small section of beach, also with sun loungers. I chose a room with a sea view – it really did have a balcony and a wonderful view. There are no toiletries in the bathroom; you have to ask for them at reception. I was disappointed with the food – the breakfasts are simply the worst you can imagine. There are cucumbers, tomatoes, a couple of cheeses, and cold meats. The scrambled eggs were really weird. Cereal. One day there were pancakes, the second day some kind of biscuit, and the third day there were cookies. They make coffee, but there are no large cups. Checkout is at 10 AM, although TripCom says 11 AM. The city center is far away, not walking distance, and there are no buses, only taxis. There are plenty of restaurants, supermarkets, and currency exchanges nearby. The promenade is long. The hotel was good for a beach holiday, but the food was a disaster.

This hotel is absolutely ideally located for Tirana airport and rental car pick up/drop of - a short walk from the terminal. The reception staff speak good English and are friendly and helpful. Our room (a quad) was spacious and comfortable. Very nice to have a kettle and mugs provided. We had dinner in the Italian-style restaurant and it was very nice - good pizza, pasta etc. Out only issue was that our room was SO HOT. The aircon didn't seem to work and opening the windows meant is was noisy. We only stayed one night so didn't have a chance to see if this could be fixed easily. Overall, this hotel is definitely rather overpriced for what you get, but nevertheless we would stay here again if needed because the location is so good.

The Grand Duka Hotel & Spa in Durrës truly made our stay special. From the moment we checked in, we were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home. The entire team was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and professional. The rooms were modern, very clean, and well-maintained. We were particularly impressed with the spa area, which included a sauna, steam room, and a pleasant wellness ambiance. Fresh towels and water were always available, ensuring we felt completely comfortable. The massages offered were also very reasonably priced and a wonderful addition to the wellness facilities. The breakfast was outstanding – with a wide selection of fresh, high-quality products. It was the perfect start to our day. Special praise goes to the staff, who gave us many helpful tips for Durrës. Thanks to their recommendations, we discovered great restaurants and got to know the city much better. We also found the taxi service organized by the hotel to be very convenient. Communication was effortless via WhatsApp, and the costs could be easily settled on our hotel bill at the end. This made our entire trip planning much more relaxed. Overall, the Grand Duka Hotel & Spa offers a successful combination of comfort, wellness, hospitality, and excellent service. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return anytime.

Amazing place kind staff and very great amenities, free shuttle to airport pick up and drop off, with a great restaurant. Just that there was a weird picture in the room, we didn't like we requested it to be removed but apparently it was too heavy so it was declined. Picture as below. But just overall amazing place.

Absolutely lovely hotel and great location quiet enough but close enough to all the great spots. The staff such as Mario, Teira (sure I am spelling it wrong) were all so wonderful. Slightly disappointed on the beach area considering its a premium hotel and was surprised at no access to room service. Could not even get ice as the in-room fridge is more like a wine cooler with not much cooling.

The hotel staff were very warm and friendly from the first moment I arrived at the hotel. They gave me a free upgrade and made sure to show me to my room. The hotel itself is lovely, and the comfort level is just amazing. The breakfast was so good, it even has an omelet station. I highly recommend this hotel what you are looking for a relaxing stay by the Albanian seashore.
