The Punggol LRT is an automated guideway transit line in Singapore that serves residential estates within the Punggol New Town.
It is the third LRT line in Singapore, after the Bukit Panjang LRT line and the Sengkang LRT line, initially opened on January 29, 2005, and has since undergone several upgrades and improvements. Similar to Sengkang LRT, the Punggol LRT line is also operated by SBS Transit.
The Punggol LRT line has a total of 15 stations, including Punggol, Sam Kee, Cove, Meridian, Coral Edge, Riviera, Kadaloor, Oasis, Damai, Soo Teck, Punggol Point, Samudera, Teck Lee, Nibong and Sumang.
The line has four routes across two loops, with Routes A and B operating in the clockwise and counter-clockwise directions of the West Loop, and Routes C and D operating in the clockwise and counter-clockwise directions of the East Loop.
The line provides convenient transportation for residents in the Punggol area, connecting them to other parts of Singapore via the North East MRT line at Punggol MRT station and Punggol Bus Interchange.
