The hotel staff is also very friendly. We talked late at the restaurant, and I want to thank the staff who waited until late.

Transportation: On the edge of the Inle Lake Cruise Ship Terminal, very close to the BUS station, walking about 600 meters, the hotel provides tuk tuk to the BUS station; service: very warm, but no Chinese service; health: middle and upper, environmental waste The bag and the quilt cover are slightly invisible because of the washing level; the bedding: the standard cushion is attached, but the shop may be slightly longer due to the operation time, and the middle of the mattress is concave, which requires high attention to the bedding; environment: creative South Asian style design, the rooms are double-family flat-panel buildings, water house style, better facing room type in the river (high price); Facilities: There is a small swimming pool, separated in the center of the river pool, the water quality meets the standard. Catering: The hotel provides a complimentary breakfast for Western food, beautiful in appearance and excellent service. Guests: Most people are European.

Hillock villa is walking distance to local market of Kalaw and close to the click tower. They serve an awesome breakfast in the garden if the weather allows! The beds are comfortable, and the room is spacious with one double and one single bed. The bathroom had a bathtub, but to take a shower was a bit hard as the shower hose was not very long for us tall foreigners đ
Parking can be a challenge as the road is steep and the parking place is not big enough to easily turn your car.
We enjoyed our stay very much and for sure book again next time in Kalaw!

Golden Kalaw Inn is walking distance from the local market (every 5 days). The room is spacious and has 3 single beds and every thing you need. Beds are clean but a bit hard according to western standard. Only big towel is provided and no towel to dry your feet coming out of the shower. The internet is good and the manager made sure that there was power all the time.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

I give this place an average review and not a poor one because we paid only $52 for 7 nights and the staff were lovely. However, there were a great deal of negatives which I feel I have to share. (This is not to say that every room in the guesthouse is the same but I could not know) - âBreakfastâ is a cold pancake with sauce. The pancake was so awful I could not eat it. (There is an option to pay 1000kyats for toast and an egg but we didnât bother. There are plenty cheap restaurants to eat at nearby). - Our room was right underneath the water pump which seemed to be constantly banging on our ceiling. - There was not always hot water - The room was not very clean. They asked us if we wanted it âcleaningâ whilst we were staying longer than normal so they did on our 4th day when we asked but didnât even replace our towels. - The electricity went off a lot. - The mattress was not a proper mattress so quite hard. - Plug socket was at head height on the opposite wall to the bed head. This room might be ok if you have a very low budget or are only staying in Inle for 1 or 2 nights but was not enjoyable for our week stay.
