"Usually hotel rooms look bigger in their photos so I was surprised to see the room was really big! I feel confident to say that it's the best mattress I've ever slept on! The perfect combination of firm and soft. It's a new place with some teething issues. Everything was nice and clean but the shower didn't drain, filling up to my ankles. There wasn't bin liners in the bins (only really important for the toilet bin). The bed faces the door and windows that have small curtains that move when the aircon is on, and people walking past can see in. The host was lovely and the property is beautiful."

The mattress was terribly hard; it's a good thing I had a twin room and used the extra duvet to sleep on, otherwise it would have been really tough. The location is close to the city center, but the hotel has seen better days. Definitely suited for people looking for a place to stay for just one night who don't have very high expectations for standards.

Great location. Great view from the balcony of the room and from beside the pool.  Everything very clean and room was stylish.  Staff attentive and spoke good English.  Ate at the bistro which was not too expensive.  Decor in the bistro was not very inviting.

+ Amazing view I recommend it! It was really -Very good location sunset point, river views offer Mekong and a hearty breakfast in the morning. A unique view of the Mekong River from the terrace in front of the room. Possibility to see elephants on the other side of the river.free pickup from the pier to hostel and drop off.

It's an atmospheric hotel on the banks of the Mekong River, with each bungalow being separate from the next and having beautiful teak furniture. The staff were brilliant throughout my stay and went out of their way to help with transport and food. Two negatives, however, are limited transportation into town and the cleanliness of the bathroom. When I arrived, there was a big spider in the shower section.

Great place, extremely relaxing in this month of April. Being outside the tourist season and in an extremely hot period we were able to take advantage of the swimming pool, great on the banks of the Mekong. It's actually not very far from the main street of Pakbeng. We were even able to see the elephants bathing opposite. If you stay long enough, go and spend some time at Mekong Elephant Park, it's a magnificent project.

A very good hotel, the first hotel to drive to Laos, Southeast Asian architectural style, the hotel area is elegant, the waiters are polite. The breakfast buffet is rich in variety and impressed.

The service in the restaurant wasn't always great, lacking attention to detail. The location is truly superb, but it's a bit isolated, which means you're pretty much stuck with the hotel restaurant and its somewhat high prices (for Laos). However, the main takeaway is that it's a wonderful place. It's relaxing, well-maintained, and has plenty to do. The breakfast was excellent. The owner is very friendly, professional, and EXTREMELY helpful. Go there; you won't be disappointed. Our accommodation was superb, spacious, and ultra-clean.
