Nice hotel well situated by the night market, Abai Village and Rodeo Drive. Easy to walk around and explore. The rooms was well kept with no issues. Only downside was lack of parking. They will try to accommodate you so you won't be stuck, but was inconvenient.
It was a very nice experience - of course the hotel is more expensive due to its unique ”design”, but for us it was worth it (we only stayed one night). The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms were nice and clean and parking was included. Only thing is, that there is a little walk from the parking lot to the reception, but there are carts that can be borrowed. Also the surrounding area is nice and has some viewing spots worth exploring. We had nothing to complain.
I was worried that the initial review was so bad
It was so comfortable and nice. It was nice to be able to eat comfortably at the hostel because the table was large, not a hotel.
Just toilet toilet canal rubber? I'm missing, so I put it in again, but I think you should do the repair work.
The hotel is beautiful. There are nice restaurants within the hotel compound so you do not need to go anywhere. The view from the balcony was amazing (slop view). Amenities sufficient, room spacious. We took 2 of these rooms since we were 2 adults and 2 kids (12 years old). The beds are super single and 2 ppl sleeping on a bed is do-able or there is loads of space for an additional bed.
We didn't have bfast but a lot of restaurants and a CU within the hotel compound.
A word of advice, if you are coming from Seoul, stop at JINBU STATION and not Pyeongchang station. We made a mistake of going to Pyeongchang station which is far away and the cab will cost krw 60,000 per way. Jinbu station is just 5 minutes away.
The hotel boasts an excellent location and fantastic views. We were allocated a corner room with a great outlook. We arrived early, and the male receptionist informed us we could check in at 1 PM. However, upon returning after lunch, a different female staff member, who offered no smile, insisted check-in wasn't until 3 PM. We noticed other guests checking in, some even without a credit card, which felt inconsistent. After I had to complain, we were finally allowed to check in, but then they demanded a credit card for a security deposit. The attitude of the Korean front desk staff was very frustrating and made us feel extremely uncomfortable, almost discriminatory. Otherwise, everything else was fine, and we had a very enjoyable day.
The place was clean, and the location was ideal – a mere 10-minute walk from Sokcho Beach. It perfectly balanced proximity without the noise, and convenience without being too far. All the necessary amenities were nearby, which was incredibly convenient, and getting around the area was a breeze. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and the entire place was spotless. For this price, I truly believe it offers outstanding value for money. I would highly recommend it to friends and family, and I definitely plan on returning.
Hotel has everything there, no need to go out. The B1 floor are restaurants, CU and karaoke. B2 is spa. You can rent skiing gear and skis from them cheaper than at the YoungPyong and they provide shuttle bus to the hotel from KTX and bus stop and to resorts! I didn’t find this information anywhere before coming there sadly!
We checked in a couple of hours after 6:00pm and there were no check in lines at all, the check in and check out process was very smooth and efficient. The room was clean, with great views of both the shops and restaurants below, and the partial ocean view was nice as well. The hotel had a convenience store on the 5th floor which we visited frequently. My family and I enjoyed the Ramada by Wyndham Gangwon Sokcho and will be returning soon,
It was very lovely designed room. The pink room was looking almost same in picture and the room temperature was very warm from the enterance. The room was clean overall but there was a cockroach appeared during our stay. The amenities was reasonable and not a bad quality. The breakfast was better than our expectation and reasonable price too.
Big recommend:)
It's really narrow... I thought it was a goshiwon... A room with two single beds. My husband and I went there, but it was only wide enough for one person to pass by. ㅎㅎ We stayed for one night on Sunday, and when we tried to upgrade to an ocean view, they said it was fully booked, but their rude response was not very trustworthy. Other than the good location, the management is old and outdated. There was hair on the bathroom floor, there was no towel rack, and there was a hair brush in the sauna... The breakfast was a mixed bag of things with no concept^^ (It seems like the diligent staff covers the taste and service) The rooftop view on the 4th floor and the location next to Naksansa Temple were the best!

EEEErikaaaTraveling with a 2-year-old child
It was nice that there was a children's playground, an indoor pool, and a large hot spring bath. The child was very satisfied.
The dinner buffet had delicious snow crab and sashimi.
There were various activities on site, as well as a convenience store, restaurant, and cafe, so we could enjoy ourselves all day at the resort.
About 20 cm of snow fell in the middle of the night, but the staff worked hard to shovel it away, which was great.
There were mats laid in the pool to prevent slipping, but they were not all over the place, so the tiled parts were slippery, so please be careful if you have small children.
I asked for bed guards when I checked in, but they never came to install them.

MMellowmellonsLove the location. Its kind of a maze but cute~
Staying at the hotel gives you 30% off at sauna (20000–>14000), fitness room, lift ticket and rentals~
The room was so nice. Kitchen was good, no sauce or cooking condiments.
The bedding was thinner than imagined so a little hard to get used to at the start but it was good since the floor was warm. Sometimes too warm 😅
GGuest UserThe Sokcho Cassia Hotel, which we visited for our wedding anniversary trip, was located in Daepo Port, and we could see both the port and the sea from the veranda of the accommodation. It was on the 25th floor, and when we went in, there was a slight musty smell from the bathroom shower room, so we took off one star for cleanliness! The breakfast here was 66,000 won, which was expensive compared to other accommodations, so we had high expectations, but there weren't many options for the price. Weekends are divided into three parts, and you can choose on a first-come, first-served basis when you check in. I think the checkout time was 11:00, but we checked out right after 8:00 after the first part of the breakfast to avoid traffic.
EEtiennePJNice hotel, with many options for non skiers from a ****** to swimming pool / spa / sauna options. Easy to ski from there as well as with frequent shuttles to ski houses
22022년 호랑이 해I booked a quadruple suite.
I booked it because the promotional photos looked great, and I was satisfied with the location near the terminal, so I booked it.
After checking in, I realized that the bedroom was spacious for four people, and the living room was perfect.
The air conditioning worked well, and the Styler was perfect, so I could really relax.
The coffee and tea were also great!
Disposable items aren't provided these days, so just bring those.
Just right! There were plenty of towels too.
Ahaha~~~ The fridge was a bit small for its size, but it only held eight 500ml water bottles.
It's close to restaurants, bars, and convenience stores, so I'll definitely be back.

SsylviaganThe room is very spacious and clean! We love the futon style and the mountain view. The Sono Tower C is very convenient and below are the food court and supermarket. However, there is no coin laundry available so we really need to plan our clothings and to use the hotel towels carefully. The heater in the room was very warm so we opened a small gap of the window and balcony door for better ventilation and cooler air. There is window net so we did not have to worry about any insects coming into the room. The toilet has a bidet with warm function so we really love it! All in all the room is great and pleasant to stay!
PPetiteJaneWow! It felt like time travel back to the last century in the UK, the moment you step into the hotel lobby, which is full of nostalgic British decorations. The restaurant, especially, is like a royal family gallery with photos of Queen Elizabeth, Princess Diana, Prince Charles, Prince William, and other royals covering the walls.
Each floor features a unique theme dedicated to various public figures, including presidents, diplomats, sports stars, movie stars, singers, and actors. The hallways are decorated with photos and memorabilia, making every walk a discovery.
The location is very close to the entrance of Seorak Mountain National Park, within a 7-10 minute walk.
My double bedroom is lovely with a nice view of greenery. The only downside and a major issue to me is that no AC at night, which is not mentioned in the hotel’s description. The staff explained that the AC is centrally controlled and is turned off at night because they assume it’s cool enough. They can only give me a fan.
I had both dinner and buffet breakfast at the hotel, and they were all good, and all the staff at the front desk and in the restaurant were very nice and friendly as well.
