Hotels With breakfast in Northwestern Region, Iceland

If you need a place to stay one night on the round trip of Iceland, from Akureyri back to Reykjavik, Laugarbakki is the choice. Hotel choices are limited. This one is probably a reasonable choice. Compared with other hotels of similar quality in other towns, this one is relatively expensive. The breakfast lacks choices, too. But the staff is good, as I lost a remote control of my selfie and found by the staff, lovely.

This guesthouse seems to be run by the farmers themselves. The hostess was very welcoming, and the surroundings are lovely, with a large lake visible right from our room window. Outside the room, there's a big kitchen and dining area, fully equipped with a fridge and cooking utensils, which is great for preparing your own meals. There's no hairdryer in the room, and the shower drain in our bathroom was a bit clogged, draining very slowly. Another common issue with many hotels in Iceland, the room curtains are terrible at blocking out light, so we were woken up early by the sun.

The appearance of the hotel from the outset is a bit battered. The room and service therein are very good and the food served in dinner is gorgeous. The scenery outside when looking from the window of the room is spectacular. It is a good stay at such hotel

An intimate, modern and cosy inn by the road in to Siglufjordur. We were treated to an exquisite three course dinner on arrival and a wonderful breakfast buffet upon departure. Comfortable room, well furnished and with a nice bathroom and steamy shower. Must be wonderful to visit in winter as well.

This hotel seems to be operated by an old lady. After 8:00 in the evening, it is self-serviced into the hotel. In fact, it is still very good. The room is clean and tidy. The quality of nearby guests is high. The disadvantage is breakfast. It has an automatic coffee machine that is very convenient.

Very general, low cost performance

Old equipment, old houses, old employees, no breakfast, kitchen, but only some things can be used, luggage needs to be moved upstairs, no elevator, narrow stairs, no way

Belle découverte de cet hôtel historique de Saudarkrokur. Personnel aux petits soins pour ses invités , petit déjeuner impeccable dans une belle salle du restaurant. Notre voyage islandais en a été encore plus beau grâce à cet endroit. On y retournera.
