GGuest UserUpon arrival (stayed twice) on both occasions we were told we'd not paid and had to prove that we had.
Absurdly expensive but cashing in on the lack of competition locally I imagine, would expect four or five star amenities for £178 (for a twin) rather than the three star.
Breakfast not included in the £178!
Not having a drinks licence is strange.
Loud music coming from the kitchen below at 11pm (turned down when we complained but shouldn't have had to).
Stromness locals have a lot of bad stories about this hotel so it will need to up its game to establish a good reputation. Staff seemed great but under pressure.

GGuest UserBasic, maar alles keurig schoon en een stevig bed. Voor sommigen misschien te stevig. We kwamen laat aan vanaf de ferry, maar dat was goed geregeld met een enveloppe met alle benodigde informatie en een sleutel.

GGabaZhaoThe location is very good, from the bus stop of the airport, several restaurants are not far away, there is a sea view by the sea.
The facilities are old, but it is acceptable, and the heating is no problem. Just entering the house has a damp smell, and opening the window will be much better.
In any case, it is a small archipelago town, and such conditions are justified.
