The location is VERY close the airport so it was very convenient when it was time to fly out. Right outside it the Metro, so I was able to move around and explore parts of the city, specifically Frankfurt's New Old Town. Behind the hotel is a garden area where I did my morning walks. The room was very clean and spacious. I have no complaints. The staff were AMAZING! They answered all my questions about the area and they povided helpful tips on how to navigate the Metro. Overall thetrip was one of the smoothest and relaxed experience I have ever had.

I arrived earlier than the check-in time, but they let me check in first. I was very grateful for this as I had a lot of luggage. There was also a supermarket just a short walk away, so I bought some food and water. I would definitely use this service if I go to Germany again.

”Great experience! The room was compact but very efficient—it had every amenity you could ask for. It felt very cozy and was spotlessly clean. I really appreciated the free bottled water provided. Definitely a comfortable place to recharge.” all tourist spot are close.
The hotel is conveniently located near a large plaza, which is a big plus. It's about a 20-minute walk from the station, so if you have a lot of luggage, I'd recommend taking a taxi. It's clean, but there's a bit of noise.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn at Frankfurt Airport this time. Its location is right opposite Terminal 1. From my room, I could see the airport out the window. However, it's not convenient to walk there with luggage. You can take the S9 train one stop to Gateway Gardens, and the hotel is straight ahead a short walk from the station. (I have no sense of direction, and the first time I followed Google Maps, I took a detour. Actually, you just need to walk straight from the exit).
The king-size room was quite spacious by European standards, clean and tidy, with all the necessary amenities like a kettle, hairdryer, and toiletries (shampoo/body wash). You need to ask the front desk for a toothbrush and slippers.
Even though it's near the airport, the soundproofing is excellent; there was hardly any noise. The hotel offers self-service check-in and check-out. It took a little getting used to at first, but it's actually very smart and quick.
The breakfast food was decent, with a reasonable variety. As someone with a 'Chinese stomach,' no matter how many options there are, I only eat what my digestive system can handle. Hot cocoa, scrambled eggs, small sausages, bacon – these hot items, plus some apple juice, were more than enough for me. I also want to praise the lovely lady at the restaurant reception who checked me in for breakfast. On my second morning, I was rushing to catch a train and quickly checked out. I was just planning to have some hot tea before leaving, and she kindly gave me a bag to take some food with me for the journey. It was very thoughtful. Receiving such kindness in a foreign country is truly heartwarming.
Overall, I'm very satisfied. If you're just looking for a transit hotel, this is an excellent choice. There are many hotels in this area, and also a supermarket nearby. If you plan to explore the city, I recommend staying downtown. Although it's not far from the city center, crossing different fare zones makes transportation quite expensive, and buying train tickets in Germany can be a real hassle.
P.S. German trains are highly likely to be delayed, so always allow plenty of extra time for your journey.
This hotel is incredibly close to the Frankfurt exhibition center, practically right next door, which makes attending events super convenient. It's also just a five-minute walk to the subway station. The Western-style breakfast is diverse and plentiful. Getting to the city center is easy, and it's only a few minutes to the train station. The Römerberg square is also very close by.

I stayed here over New Year’s, and what a wild experience that was in Frankfurt! It also made me realize just how poor the hotel’s soundproofing is — I could hear all the chaos and noise throughout the night.
On the bright side, the location is great, just a short walk from the train station. Still, the area can feel a bit unsafe at night, especially during New Year’s celebrations, so be cautious if you’re heading out late.

Great location for early flight or late arrival into Frankfurt. Gotta take escalator from Terminal 1B, near Luftansa counter 13 up one level, then follow signage to hotel (opp Ditsch). Overall good except for lighting in the room - personally I would prefer the option to have the room brighter (more or brighter lights).
The room was tiny; we had to put our luggage on the bed to open it. European hotel beds are generally small, and no one cleaned our room during our several-day stay—there was basically no service. The front desk staff seemed to be just going through the motions, chatting amongst themselves, and didn't seem particularly fond of Chinese guests. There was road construction nearby, so taxis had to take a long detour and still couldn't get close. There's absolutely nothing around the hotel, just residential areas. You could walk for 15 minutes and not find a single restaurant. It's right by the highway and feels very desolate.
The location is great and the service is good too. It's also convenient for ordering takeout, making it a good choice for both extended stays and sightseeing. My only suggestion would be for the breakfast to be a bit tastier. If you need anything, just ask the front desk, they're very helpful.

GGuest UserThe hotel room was very spacious and quiet, I couldn't hear any noise from the train station at all. It offered excellent value for money. The bed was large and comfortable, and the room was cleaned daily. Breakfast was decent with a good variety of options. Many Asian guests were staying there, which made me feel at home. Highly recommended!
GGuest UserThe place was very clean. As I arrived earlier than expected, they kindly allowed me to check in around 12 PM. The hotel staff were incredibly patient; despite a language barrier, they continued to communicate with me patiently, showing no signs of frustration whatsoever.
GGuest UserThis is the 2nd time we have booked this hotel.
Room was not spacious with sofa bed opened. The sofa bed was distorted in an A-shape that my husband was unable to sleep well.
Not a good experience for him.
Breakfast was good. We were lucky to park on street free until 9am.
Hope the hotel can check the sofabed and change a new one.
TTW HamburgThey had a good breakfast with very nice coffee
The room was hot and not the best stay l had - the bad was very hard but maybe some guest like it this way
The room service forget to provide me free water and cups and tea ☕️
The Italian restaurant is great for dinner
Near by currently is a construction site so it’s getting very busy and very noisy
AAngusThe hotel is nice. Dogs are allowed. The room is large and has a balcony. There is a park outside, which is very good for walking the dog. It is also very convenient and close to the river. It is very dog-friendly. I am very satisfied with the room and will stay here again in the future.
GGuest UserI booked based on being able to check in early; I know airlines crews use this hotel. When I got to the hotel, I could check in early but after 10 AM for additional 50 euros. If I wanted to check in before that I would have to pay for an extra day. I had prepaid the hotel, so I ate that loss and used the 50 euros to apply for a taxi out of there. I asked in an email about early check in which is why I booked that hotel - the email outlined the charge but was not specific in saying before 10 am was another night charge. Wish hotel policy was clearer. Arriving at 05:30, and having to sit in the lobby for hours after 15 hours of flying was unacceptable.
EEutamaThe Westin Grand Frankfurt offers an excellent central location with unbeatable access to public transport and nearby markets, but the in-room climate control and wellness facilities were disappointing during this stay. Overall, it works well as a convenient city base, especially if you value being close to U- and S-Bahn connections and local weekend markets.Room and comfortThe room itself was comfortable but unfortunately too warm, and it was not obvious how to adjust the temperature settings. There was no clear guidance in-room on changing the climate controls, which made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep.Facilities and closuresAlthough the hotel advertises an indoor pool and sauna as part of its wellness offering, both the pool and sauna were closed during this stay, which was a let-down. This is worth checking in advance if these facilities are important for your trip.Location and transportThe location is one of the hotel’s strongest points, set on Konrad-Adenauer-Straße right by the Zeil shopping area and within easy reach of major sights. U-Bahn and S-Bahn stations are very close, making it simple to reach Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof, the airport and other parts of the city in just a few minutes.Markets and nearby vibeThe surrounding area has a lively city feel, and there is a weekend market within walking distance, adding a nice local touch to the stay. Being able to step out of the hotel and quickly reach both shops and market stalls is a real advantage if you enjoy browsing food and local products.Overall impressionThis hotel is a solid choice for location and public transport access, especially if you plan to explore Frankfurt’s centre and markets on foot. However, unclear room temperature controls and the closure of the pool and sauna during the stay meant the experience did not fully meet expectations.

__adjan101The location of the hotel is perfect. Very close to the train station and many shops and restaurants just around the corner.
The rooms are a bit on the smaller side, but they have a balcony which makes up for it.
The breakfast is a selection of breads with cold meats, cheese and spreads. There is also cereal and yogurt for those trying to cut the carbs.
Overall, it was a good stay.
GGuest UserI booked the room with breakfast but the hotel said it was 28euro per night extra so I didn’t use the breakfast but the breakfast according to my booking was included I feel cheated for my money with this. Booking a room for 168euro and includes breakfast for three then in the end I didn’t use the service since the service agent at the counter was not professional and told me it’s not including breakfast.
Also I tried to call the counter for the whole day and no one picked up the phone. Very disappointed and even though the location and room was great I will not be coming back due to this.
