HHaoxianghaoxiangnvxiaThis hotel was very satisfying. Our windowless room was on the basement level, so we paid an extra 80 euros for three nights to upgrade to the seventh floor upon arrival. The location is excellent, just a 10-minute walk from the Central Station and 5 minutes from T-Centrum. The hotel has a clear outdoor theme with a strong design aesthetic, and some rooms feature unique designs. The hotel lobby boasts a spacious bar and restaurant area, which is very lively and almost completely full in the evenings. The room didn't have complimentary water or disposable toiletries, but there was a kettle.
GGangtou1973The hotel is very conveniently located close to Train Stations 41 and 40, falling within the 'Small' transport card zone. The nearby palace is worth a visit if you have some free time. However, upon checking in, a man who appeared to be Indian opened our room door, claiming he was there to perform a hygiene check. My daughter and I were absolutely terrified; it was horrifying. This clearly demonstrates a serious management oversight. Fortunately, we weren't changing clothes at the time. For the rest of our stay, we kept the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on our door.
GGuest UserEtt hem was part of the reason that we came to Stockholm!! We were very excited to come stay here as we have heard such great things from friends.
The whole concept is that it’s a home, and it really did feel like that! It felt as though we were staying at a friends home, where we can roam around all of the shared areas and spend time anywhere, in the living room, lounges, library, garden etc. The space was designed by a famous interior designer. Our room was an attic room that was quite beautiful. We also opted to have dinner at the house; the menu changes daily depending on what the chef orders in, and on our night it was delicious. We also used their spa room / sauna which was very enjoyable.
My only comment is that while the staff were all very friendly and nice, they were not always available to be found. At times I would need something and go to the main check in counter and there wouldn’t be anyone there, and I would have to roam around the house looking for someone. Same goes for the entrance. You have to ring the bell every time you come back to Ett Hem and on a few occasions, no one answered the door bell or they answered but didn’t follow up / open the door / or come to get us. I understand it’s a part of the casual home feel, but for a luxury hotel I would have preferred a little more availability…
Great stay overall though!!
AAnonymous UserThe facilities are good, and the hygiene is acceptable. The breakfast selection is quite extensive. It's moderately close to the city center, and you can get there directly by public transport. It's located conveniently between the city center and the airport.
GGuest UserThe hotel is beautiful and welcoming. The rose gold and red colours inside are very warm and you are surrounded by a charming and elegant atmosphere.
The staff are very kind and helpful, very knowledgeable and smart:
The rooms are very attractive and I loved the bathroom. Very style ish and artistic. Not to mention everything was spotless clean.
The only little downside I found was that the end was quite hard but maybe that’s what it’s meant to be like.
Overall I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend. Well done!!!!
GGuest UserVery nice hotel in Stockholm. The staff in there are friendly and helpful. The location also awesome, you can walk only 200-300m to reach the metro and going around stockholm. Nearby hotel has many restaurants and shop to visit. Room is very comfortable, big and clean, you can open your luggages and the maid will come to clean everyday. Breakfast not much impress as the seat for having BF is not enough sometimes. Anyway breakfast is not bad.
GGuest UserThe team upgraded us during our stay and made it so much more special! Things to note, about a 20min uber from the city centre but 5min walk to the closest metro station which is also very easy to navigate. Lots of bikes around too to get around. Also the spa is not included in the stay price, you have to pay separately to access it. AND level 5 and 6 have been recently renovated and are WAYYYY nicer than the rest of the hotel. The TVs are smart tvs, they give robes and slippers, beautiful new bathrooms - worth paying extra for the nicer room. Great brekkie too.
GGuest UserThe location is amazing! 5 minute walk from the Arlanda express! Right in the centre near shops. The food was incredible and so much choice even for vegans or gluten free. Staff were friendly and helpful! It does get cold in the rooms but we asked for a heater and this was provided.
MManololuHi. I booked a quite room and the cheapest on offer. Upon arriving i was told its in the basement with no windows. Make sure people known it’s basement with NO windows. I then paid an upgrade to get a room on floor 7. Otherwise a good hotel.
