Hotels With Breakfast in Ningxia, China

We stayed at Shenhua Hotel again after our trip to Zhongwei. We booked a triple room, which featured a master bedroom and a smaller second bedroom. The smaller room didn't have AC, but with the recent mild evenings, it wasn't an issue at all. The service here is also top-notch: the buffet breakfast on the second floor was plentiful, offering not just standard fare but also a noodle station and freshly ground coffee. What truly surprised us was the presence of a well-equipped laundry room (as pictured) – it felt like a branded hotel chain such as Huazhu or Home Inn, just without the prominent branding. While parking can be a bit limited, there's usually an attendant to help guide you. You can also request the hotel to reserve a spot beforehand. If all hotel parking is taken, there's street parking just 50 meters away, and the hotel will reimburse the fees. As for its prime location: it's just a hundred meters from Gulou Pedestrian Street, right in the Yuhuangge area. This means you're surrounded by fantastic local eateries (like Lao Mao Shou Zhua, Tongxin Chun, etc.), which we found to be more authentic and reliable than some of the 'internet-famous' spots nearby (though there are plenty of those too!). There's also a vibrant night market at the end of the street, where the Xinjiang kebabs are absolutely delicious, and you can find a great selection of other local Ningxia specialties. All in all, it's incredibly convenient. It will definitely be my first choice when I visit Ningxia again. It's the kind of place where you can save your budget for experiences like the Zhongwei desert, making it a true hidden gem. Oh, and they even provide a complimentary welcome fruit platter!

Amazing decision to go to Yinchuan for Dragon Boat Festival since it has the best weather and the cleanest city in China. Kempinski in this city is one of the best. The hotel is in the middle of the city, so there are multiple destinations to tour. For my trip, I did not go to the sand dune area. I focused on the ride share to the touristy movie film park snd neighboring theme town. The hotel is also near the growing 801 Creative Park, Night Market, and just a walk from the Ningxia Museum. So many more local and traditional spots. Bring an extra shopping bag. The hotel has a great view of their master plan development, delicious food options from the cafe to the German restaurant, and coffee/tea lobby lounge. The staff is bilingual and the grounds are immaculately clean. Sleeping and facilities really comfortable. Nicest locals all around. Thank you for a great stay.

This stay experience far exceeded expectations! The hotel was newly opened in 2025, and the modern light luxury decoration combines a touch of romance and style. 📍 Excellent location: Whether it is to the airport and high-speed rail station (about 20 minutes drive), it is very convenient, and the surrounding dining options are also very rich. First-class hygiene and service: from the lobby to the room is spotless, the linen is white, and people live in special peace of mind. The front desk and staff are warm and thoughtful, responsive and provide a home away from home experience! Breakfast is the highlight: the buffet breakfast is rich in variety, both Chinese and Western styles, especially recommended local special lamb noodles, the taste is very good, providing a full energy for a day of play. When checking out, the store manager was checking in for a guest, showing a high professionalism, and gave a thumbs up! The facilities are also very trendy and convenient, greatly improving the comfort of staying. In addition, free large parking and charging piles are very friendly to self-driving tourists. Overall, it is a quality choice that integrates location, design, service and cost performance. It is highly recommended!

Really great stay. Can host foreigners. Super clean, very friendly and helpful staff, loved having the free self serve laundry which was clean and easy to use and provided soap power as well Breakfast was great. Had read other reviews and wasn't sure what to expect. Someone commented about the lack of western food - not sure why you would travel to China and want/expect that!? Yes, a very Chinese breakfast which we enjoyed, a good selection and filled us for the day. Room was well stocked (but no coffee if you can't live without bring your own). Would definitely stay again if we came back.

The room is small in size and clean and tidy. The parent-child room I booked has a double bed and a single bed, which is especially suitable for a family of three. Toiletries come in large bottles and are of good quality. Breakfast is an absolute plus for this hotel. Cold side dishes, haggis soup, fried buns, and ramen are all great! Not inferior to international five stars. Although the breakfast area is not large, everything is of good quality. Wuzhong is not a big city, so I parked my car in front of the hotel when I was driving, which was very convenient. It takes one hour to go to Yinchuan from Wuzhong, one hour to Shuidonggou, and one and a half hours to Shapotou. I like the Northwest~

Visiting Yinchuan, we opted to stay one night in the city center. Our room on the 49th floor offered fantastic views of the beautiful Yinchuan city. The double room included breakfast for two and came with many complimentary extras. This included a tasting voucher for two at Xige Estate, which we used and found to be truly excellent value, saving us over 300 yuan. We didn't get a chance to use the vouchers for Jiadi Winery or other attractions. The hotel's location was very convenient, within walking distance of the Ningxia Museum. The room itself was very spacious, and the facilities appeared new. The indoor swimming pool was good, and breakfast offered a great variety. The only drawback was a very strong, unpleasant odor in the room, possibly from a previous guest smoking. The smell lingered and was noticeable even after being in the room for a while, and it took us some time to get accustomed to it.

Atmosphere: The lobby is luxuriously decorated, and the overall quality is quite high. The front desk guy, noting we were traveling with children, offered us a spacious room, which was highly commendable. Facilities: The TV in the room wasn't very good, which might have been a problem for my TV-loving kids, hahaha. Also, the toilet paper roll was incredibly annoying; it fell out the moment I pulled it, and the staff couldn't even secure it properly... Children's breakfast: Honestly, the breakfast was quite good. While other places don't offer free children's meals, theirs includes two children, which was quite good. We had planned to try ice-cooked lamb on our last day, as we saw there was a famous place nearby, but we were pressed for time and didn't go.

Very satisfied. This is my first time staying at Hampton by Hilton. The hotel is positioned as a mid-to-high-end chain business hotel. The price is relatively favorable. It is still slightly luxurious in the same level. After all, it has authentic pedigree. The food is super good, with many varieties and a full range. The freshly made beef noodles taste very good. The front desk staff is very responsible and helped me pack the trekking poles I wanted to check in. At the same time, I would like to thank the front desk lady surnamed Li for upgrading my room for free. The room service staff also found my hat. Thank you very much.

The hotel is in a good location, convenient for traveling to Yinchuan's main attractions. There is parking, the room is large and well-equipped, but there is no small refrigerator, which is a pity. The breakfast is popular and has everything you need.

Having stayed at the Sheraton Sanya last summer, I continued my choice of Sheraton for this trip to Yinchuan. The service quality remains consistently excellent, and I had a truly wonderful experience. This visit was during peak season, and unfortunately, we had to switch rooms for our two-night stay. The young lady at the front desk, a member of an ethnic minority group, was incredibly patient, charming, and had a fantastic attitude. Later, customer service directly arranged our luggage transfer when we changed rooms, so we didn't have to handle it ourselves. We simply went out for the day, and upon our return, our luggage was already perfectly placed in our new room. The customer service team was also very quick to respond. Regarding the Executive Benefits: The executive lounge is convenient for grabbing a bite to eat, though its offerings aren't particularly unique. However, the young lady providing service there was exceptionally enthusiastic – big thumbs up! She was practically an ambassador for Ningxia tourism, haha. Also, the twin room was very spacious!
