"Honestly, in my opinion, this is one of the best places to stay in Brunei. It’s away from the general hustle and noise. Yes, you’ll need to order a taxi to get to the city center — Brunei doesn’t seem to have many proper pedestrian paths — but taxis arrive quickly and it’s not an issue. The location right by the water is beautiful. The hosts are wonderful. The common area is very cozy, with plenty of games and books, and the breakfasts are delicious. The best part — the lady of the house prepares a different breakfast every single morning. Everyone is attentive and thoughtful. Before I arrived, they even asked whether I had any allergies, dietary restrictions, religious considerations, or food preferences. You rarely find such a personal approach. The room was clean and, most importantly, very quiet. And forgive me for mentioning this — but there are no mosques nearby, so you won’t be woken up by early morning prayers at 5 a.m. It’s truly peaceful. My sleep tracker showed 97%, which says a lot. I highly recommend this place for your stay."

The hotel's facilities are a bit old, but it's very clean, especially the sheets and bedding. There's also a balcony, which is great for drying clothes. The two staff members at the front desk, Sophie and her colleague (I'm sorry, I can't remember the other name!), were incredibly warm, friendly, and professional. They patiently answered all our questions. The hotel's location is excellent; it's within a ten-minute walk to the museum, Jame' Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque, the market, the water village jetty, and the bus terminal. Taxis are very scarce in this country, so being close to public transport is a huge advantage. To the left of the hotel is a supermarket, and to the right is a restaurant with affordable food. A big thank you to the hotel for the free airport transfer and the helpful tour map. My main purpose for this trip was to photograph proboscis monkeys, and the jetty offers convenient speedboat access to the Brunei River mangroves.

Every staff member was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the facilities were top-notch. The serene environment was so refreshing, and the hotel's sunset viewing spot was absolutely stunning. You definitely won't be disappointed if you come here.

please help me to write a hotel review. The hotel is nice, its have supermarket nearby. But parking also nice just the space a little bit small for you to park your car. but it is very convenient to bring your luggage direct to your room. the room is clean and tidy, just the light is quite dim. and the car from outside the road is quite bising since the room is at the corner near to the vamp. The swimming pool is nice but dont have the children pool. The breakfast is okay and have many delicacies which like malaysia also. Maybe ,next time i will consider to stay here again . thank for the stay. Here’s a smoother, more natural version of your hotel review: I had a pleasant stay at this hotel overall. The location is very convenient, with a supermarket nearby, which made it easy to get anything we needed. The parking is available and convenient, although the spaces are a bit small, so it might be slightly challenging for larger cars. However, I really liked that it was easy to bring luggage directly from the parking area to the room. The room itself was clean and tidy, which I appreciated. The only downside was that the lighting was quite dim, making the room feel a bit less bright than expected. Also, since our room was located at the corner near the ramp, there was some noise from cars on the road, especially at night. The swimming pool was nice and well-maintained, but it would be even better if there were a separate pool for children. Breakfast was decent, with a good variety of dishes, many of which are similar to Malaysian cuisine, so it felt quite familiar. Overall, it was a comfortable stay, and I would consider staying here again in the future. Thank you for the hospitality!

The hotel is located quite far from the city center, but it does provide a free shuttle service to and from the airport. It is also not very close to the sea; however, this is not a major issue since swimming is prohibited at the nearby beaches anyway. Additionally, there are no cafes or shops within walking distance of the hotel, which makes the location even less convenient. The prices at the hotel’s cafe are overpriced. The hotel’s design feels somewhat outdated, but nothing critical. What was truly disappointing, however, was the service. The hotel presents itself as a 4-star property, yet it is surprisingly strict about a very basic necessity — drinking water. Guests are provided with only one bottle of water per person per day. There is coffee and tea available in the room, but to boil the kettle you need additional drinking water, which the staff refused to provide. They insisted that water had already been supplied during housekeeping and that no more was allowed. We had to keep asking for it as if they were personally paying for it themselves. That was extremely unpleasant. The tap water is yellow, and there were also issues with the hot water. Only one person works at the reception desk, which is clearly insufficient for a hotel with this many rooms, resulting in long waiting times. The reception staff are not knowledgeable about nearby attractions and do not assist with arranging tours, suggesting that guests find everything out on their own. Unfortunately, the overall service was extremely disappointing.

The hotel's location is convenient for getting around, and the suite, with its two bedrooms and one living room, is quite spacious. The staff are all very friendly and provide good service. The hotel offers complimentary airport transfers and a free one-day city tour, which are definitely highlights. However, the hotel facilities are a bit old. The air conditioning in the suite was broken and couldn't be fixed, even after reporting it. There's also a persistent bad smell from the drains in both the bathroom and kitchen, indicating a design flaw. The breakfast is also very simple with limited options.

Breakfast is good. Limited options but good in taste. Clean and neat premises. Nice SMART TV given. Friendly and helpful staff. laundry service is not good. The ironing done does not feel ironed. So, I suggest you to iron your clothes on your own. Dry cleaning service is missing. All and all, it was a good stay and definitely recommend.

The reception lady was lovely and professional. She verified all the required details promptly and, shared some useful information within the hotel and nearby attractions. The room is pretty standard, comes with the necessary in-room amenities and the air-conditioning was NICE. The environment was pretty neat, no loud noises from the street nor from the air-conditioning. Location of the hotel is ideal. It is near some of the main attractions, while furtherest is about a 15 minutes car ride. Breakfast buffet (at an additional fee) is alright, mainly international cuisine. Tried their in-house restaurant and in-room dining. Food was delicious and affordable. All of the staffs I have came across and interacted were extremely friendly and positive. Nothing much to be picky for this hotel.

This is a little outdated but very well maintained and clean hotel. Buffet breakfast offers a lot of choices, especially deserts. The hotel is located in a very busy shopping area and it's difficult to find a parking spot because hotel doesn't have it's own parking lot except for several spots in front of the main entrance.

It is a spacious room & provided all the amenities. The WiFi connection is on and off. The room is very far from the lift. Cleanliness & breakfast ok. There are some restaurants in the hotel. Fair price. They can send to your room.
