Beautiful hotel. Grand entrance with chandelier. Easy check in. Warm welcome from staff. Hotel staff Assisted with every request and made the holiday pleasant. Room had beautiful river and city views. Was actually better than the pictures online. Breakfast location: High ceilings and full windows overlooking the city and river. Spacious. Great selection of different cuisines. Highly recommended. Will definitely visit again.

This hotel stay completely redefined my understanding of what a truly excellent accommodation should be! From the moment I stepped into the hotel, the warm lighting and soothing music in the lobby immediately put me at ease. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and professional; check-in was super efficient, and they even proactively upgraded my room, which was a delightful surprise! The hotel also thoughtfully provided Type-C charging ports. The room itself was absolutely flawless: the bedding was incredibly soft, and with the blackout curtains drawn, it created a perfect sleeping environment. Even the bathroom was impressive, featuring a smart toilet and a large rainfall showerhead – every detail showcased thoughtful design and comfort. The hotel gym was equipped with brand-new machines. Breakfast offered such a vast selection that it was hard to choose, with everything from Chinese hot congee and fried dough sticks to Western pastries and coffee, truly catering to all tastes. The location is also superb, just a few minutes' walk from the nearest subway station, making getting around incredibly convenient. This entire stay was absolutely perfect – a definite five-star experience! I wouldn't hesitate to choose this hotel again for my next trip.

The hotel's location is super convenient, right across the river from the Water Market and West Market. To the right, you'll find Yanji People's Park, and a short walk through the park brings you to the famous internet-famous wall at Yanbian University. From the moment we arrived, through check-in at the front desk, and even the restaurant service, everyone was incredibly friendly and professional. We were especially impressed with the VIP manager's WeChat service; they even helped us arrange a private car tour, which made us very happy. The hotel rooms are quite spacious, clean, and tidy, and they even offer complimentary drinks and snacks. Breakfast was abundant and delicious; we had hot dishes for two days straight, and none were repeated. Plus, you can even watch the sunrise from the restaurant 🌅. This hotel offers great value for money and is highly recommended.

First, the Schrödinger's room upgrade. I booked a king-sized room with a balcony and a bathtub. When I arrived at 9:30 PM, the front desk told me they had upgraded my room, which I accepted. However, the room on the 5th floor had a balcony but no bathtub. When I called the front desk, they said they could switch me to a room with a bathtub, but explained that because their bathtubs and showers are not separate, they had assigned me a room without a bathtub. Second, the hotel doesn't offer free shuttle service to town; they'll help you call a taxi or arrange a shared ride. Third, a complaint about the food. The breakfast selection isn't very extensive; the bacon was soggy, and the sausage and eggs were cold. The coffee beans tasted over-roasted. Outside of peak meal times, only Korean food is available, and frozen dumplings cost 50 each... The main issue is that the à la carte dishes are particularly bad, tasting like pre-made meals. I'd recommend the chef consider a new career.

The Grand Hyatt Changchun is probably the best hotel in Changchun. First, my complaints: Honestly, the design is illogical. The driveway from the car entrance/exit to the lobby is a tiny, U-shaped hairpin turn! The public area of the lobby has no sofas, so a bunch of people were standing around waiting to check in! The underground parking garage is practically for expert drivers only! It was the National Day holiday, and we booked two king rooms. One room's key card was ready at 3 PM, but the other wasn't available until 5 PM. Last year during the National Day holiday, the InterContinental Taiyuan's efficiency was far, far better than the Grand Hyatt Changchun. Now, for the praise: The decor is very new, the rooms are spacious, and having the toilet and shower separate is a huge plus. The facilities are also very new, and the bedding meets Grand Hyatt's high standards. When they couldn't free up a room, they upgraded us. A senior manager in the lobby, who spoke fluent Cantonese, was excellent at communicating and managing the situation. Her attitude was very good, and she handled issues promptly. I hope the hotel can improve its service efficiency and optimize processes like check-in, public areas, and luggage service. Ultimately, if you come to Changchun, I still recommend staying at the Grand Hyatt Changchun. It's centrally located, and the facilities are great. I give it five stars. However, try to avoid coming during holidays; your experience might be better on weekdays.

Decided to visit Yanji last minute for a food trip and booked this hotel. The manager was very thoughtful, calling to remind us about the sudden drop in temperature to add more layers. When booking, I hadn't realized it was a windowless room, but since there were three of us with a child, the considerate manager upgraded us to a family room, which was a pleasant surprise. Overall, it was a great experience. The breakfast featured local specialties. The only minor issue was that the room was too hot; I woke up in the middle of the night feeling overheated and just endured it rather than bothering the night manager. The hotel also provided a Yanji travel guide.

The hotel is very clean but when I was there with my family, there are a lot of constructions ongoing near the hotel and it was raining every single day when we are at Changchun. The hotel staff is very nice and efficient esp when we had only 30 mins to board our train to head to Changbaishan. The hotel staff, Fu Yang, is able to cater for us and understand that we are rushing for time. We managed to board our train successfully thanks to Ms Fu Yang. The breakfast options were rather limited. There was a signage saying that we could have how we wanted our eggs. We requested for the chef to cook it; the chef booked for us unwillingly and gave us an attitude. From the previous guest reviews, there are many positive reviews with regards to the buffet hence we decided to pay for the breakfast buffet. Overall, we will still stay in the same hotel if we visit Changchun once again. :) Side note, the train station was rather far away from the hotel. However, DiDi works fine too.

I highly recommend this hidden gem of a hotel, overlooking Changchun Station! The room facilities are super comprehensive: a smart toilet, a high-definition projector TV that's a breeze to use, and an independently controlled air conditioner that's both quiet and powerful. The hotel's overall environment is elegant, with warm green plants adorning the lobby. The hallway carpets are clean and odor-free, and the soundproofing is so good you can't hear the traffic downstairs. From the moment I checked in, the front desk staff warmly helped with luggage and introduced the surrounding area, to the cleaning staff who proactively replenished supplies daily – the service was incredibly thoughtful. The cleanliness is impeccable; the sheets and duvet covers are dry and soft, and the bathroom corners are spotless. Standing by the window, overlooking the bustling Changchun Station, was truly a little piece of happiness during my trip!

The hotel's location is pretty good, and they offer shuttle service. The facilities are also relatively new. However, the post-checkout service was a bit lacking compared to other hotels. We left a snack in the fridge and forgot to take it when checking out. At noon, I messaged the hotel concierge asking them to keep it, but when I went back to pick up my luggage, I found out the front desk wasn't aware of it due to an internal miscommunication, and we never got it back. Although the hotel compensated us for the original price, that snack was something special we bought from Yanji, so it's a real shame we didn't get to eat it in the end. Other hotels usually call guests if they find a lost item during cleaning to confirm if it was discarded. I suggest the hotel improve on this point.

This stay truly exceeded my expectations! I especially want to commend Butler Xinxin; she was incredibly attentive throughout our entire visit. From check-in to recommending local attractions, she felt like a true friend. It just so happened I was on my period, and she even made me brown sugar ginger tea! We forgot to get our ski deposit back, and she handled it for us so we didn't have to make an extra trip. She was always online and responded immediately. We didn't have to think at all during our two-day trip; we just followed Butler Xinxin's recommendations, and it was fantastic! The hotel facilities are also quite new, and the hygiene was excellent, making for a great stay. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience, and I'll definitely be looking for Butler Xinxin again next time I visit!
