The room was fantastic and I had a very comfortable stay. I want to give a special shout-out to the front desk staff, especially Evelyn and Olivia, whose service was absolutely outstanding – the best I've ever encountered. Their overall service was highly professional. I'll definitely be back next time. Highly recommended!

My flight arrived quite late, so I called the hotel to confirm they offered airport pickup before booking. Afterward, I kept asking on the platform if they could pick me up on time, as I had an early start the next day. I messaged them online for two to three hours with no response. When I landed, I called them, and no one picked up. The driver who eventually came was for a shared ride, with three or four other people, so I had to wait a while before getting in. However, the hotel photos accurately reflect the actual room. The mattress was very comfortable, and the space was big enough. The water pressure was also fine. But the TV had been left on standby by a previous guest and wasn't checked by the staff. It was just a blue screen all night while I was trying to sleep. I kept wondering why the room was so bright until I found the remote and turned it off, realizing the last guest hadn't turned it off properly. Overall, for the price, the room was very satisfying. The staff's service, though, was genuinely bad. When checking out the next day, I clearly stated my ride was waiting outside, and I needed to check out quickly. They had taken a deposit but instead of refunding it, they kept insisting on giving me a discount on the room rate. I told them it wasn't necessary, but she acted like she couldn't hear me and kept repeating it. Later, I told the platform I wouldn't cancel the order. Then, the staff repeatedly called me to ask for a good review and even sent texts, guilt-tripping me by saying their store had a good review requirement and constantly pressuring me to write one. I had already checked out! They used the phone number they got during the airport pickup to keep texting me. This part is really hard to rate. (And there was hair in the sink, haha).

I had a wonderful stay at Mercure Guangzhou and would like to express my sincere appreciation to the entire team. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, creating a pleasant and relaxing environment throughout my visit. The staff were exceptionally friendly, professional, and attentive, always willing to assist with a warm smile. I would especially like to commend the Front Office Manager, who was incredibly attentive, approachable, and genuinely caring throughout my stay. Their warm hospitality, attention to detail, and willingness to go the extra mile made me feel truly welcomed and valued as a guest. I was also impressed by the hotel's convenient location, quality facilities, and excellent breakfast selection. Every aspect of my stay exceeded my expectations.

Whenever I visit Jiangmen, I always choose Wanda Realm. Upon arrival, a porter actively helped me with my luggage, and check-in was very quick. The front desk even proactively upgraded my room, which was excellent service. The room facilities and equipment are very comprehensive; it doesn't feel like a hotel that's been open for ten years. The hotel is conveniently located near a shopping mall and a park, making it easy to shop, eat, and exercise. It's a great choice for business trips or leisure travel to Jiangmen.

The room was very new and clean. The breakfast spread was good. The hotel provides coffee and tea 24/7, free afternoon tea and night supper, and beers for sales too which provides great convenience for drinkers. The environment was very good for families and group travellers. The environment is really smoking free. I have travelled to many cities in China and stayed in many hotels, I did not find any smoke smell in this hotel and i like it. The hotel provides free washing machines and dryers usage for guests, free flow of drinking water too. Of course a thumb up to all the friendly staff as they provide excellent services! Thank you ! They deserved a full marks !

I had heard about the White Swan Hotel for a long time, so when I visited Guangzhou, I immediately booked a room. I chose a river-view room, and the view of the Pearl River from the large window was absolutely delightful and quite atmospheric. The room itself was spacious; although the carpet showed some age, which is understandable given the hotel's history, it was acceptable. The bed and pillows were incredibly soft and conducive to sleep. There were two separate sinks in the bathroom, allowing for independent use without disturbing each other. Both a shower and a bathtub were available, and soaking in the tub while enjoying the view was a lovely experience. The hotel breakfast was a bit monotonous, with fewer Guangzhou specialties than I expected, though the overall variety was still decent. There were no outlets by the bed, but surprisingly, there was a port inside the bedside table. The transportation wasn't particularly convenient; the subway was about 1 kilometer away, shared bikes couldn't access the area, so we mostly relied on taxis. The heated pool was excellent. The hotel even has its own pier, but it was a shame that guests weren't allowed to take a boat trip on the Pearl River. The koi fish in the pond were all plump and healthy. I also tried the morning tea at Yu Tang Chun Nuan, which was good, but the sunflower chicken was a bit too tender for my elderly companion, almost impossible to bite. The 'Hometown Water' design was truly beautiful. The hotel staff cleaned the room twice a day, in the morning and afternoon, which was a nice touch. However, the toilet seat wasn't very convenient for using disposable seat covers, requiring extra cleaning. Also, the trash can in the toilet was poorly designed and made a very loud noise when stepped on. Otherwise, everything was excellent, and being right by Shamian Island added a lot of charm to the stay.

Traveling to Chaoshan with friends, we chose this hotel near Chaozhou Ancient City. The location is quite convenient, as both Guangji Bridge and the ancient city are within walking distance. There are also many local specialty eateries nearby. The bedding and hygiene were acceptable, but the air conditioning was a bit noisy at night, and the duvet felt a little damp. I recommend bringing your own disposable slippers as there are shared slippers in the room's bathroom.

The hotel is right on the beach, less than an 8-minute walk to the sand. However, it's a public beach, so anyone can come and go. There's no supervision on the beach, and no one managing the water activities. Despite that, the beach is quite clean. Our hotel room didn't have a sea view, but it was spacious and came with mostly disposable amenities.

I wanted to visit Dinghu Mountain, but since there aren't many good hotels there, I chose this internationally renowned hotel instead. What a disappointment! The lobby is vast and boundless, with no one to guide you and nowhere comfortable to sit. It basically functions as a giant billboard for them. It feels so cold and impersonal, hardly what you'd expect from five-star hospitality. The corridors are open-air, a bit like a courtyard, but walking through them in 35-degree heat is incredibly uncomfortable. And I can't imagine what happens here during a typhoon, given its location. Are guests expected to brave the wind and rain, lugging their bags into their rooms? The dinner was passable, but just mediocre, definitely not reflecting a five-star standard. Breakfast, however, was a huge letdown. The fruit selection was limited to tangerines, dragon fruit, guavas, and pineapples. Zhaoqing is known in Guangdong for its unique and abundant local produce. Are their famous steamed glutinous rice dumplings (guo zheng zong) too embarrassing to serve? Or are they too stingy to offer longans and lychechee? Maybe they don't want to offer local specialties, but they can't even fry a decent Chinese donut (youtiao) – it was a doughy, lifeless mess, truly shameful. To call this a five-star hotel, it's just an upgraded government guesthouse canteen level, and a very perfunctory one at that. I genuinely tried to enjoy my stay and even ate two meals at the hotel, but I wasn't satisfied at all. I noticed the lobby was advertising a neighboring restaurant, as if to imply that this five-star hotel's food isn't great, and if you want good quality, you'll have to spend more money elsewhere. It seems strange for an entire five-star hotel to endorse another restaurant like that. On my way out, I saw many official cars coming and going. It appears this hotel isn't really catering to independent travelers like us. Aren't government expenses like this supposed to be restricted now?

This is my second time staying at Kande Hotel. I typically stay for about 14 days each trip, so I have had plenty of time to really settle in and appreciate the experience. The location is incredibly convenient, right in the heart of Dongguan and close to everything you might need. What surprised me, though, is how quiet the rooms are despite being in the city center. There is no traffic noise or street disturbance, which makes a real difference when you are traveling for work and need to rest. The staff are excellent. They are friendly and professional, but what stands out is that they actually remember my preferences from my previous stay. Those small touches go a long way when you are there for an extended period. I also appreciate the pillow menu. I personally cannot sleep without a memory foam pillow, so having that option is a real plus. They also have a robot delivery service for food and parcels. It sounds like a small thing, but it is surprisingly convenient and adds a nice modern touch. The view from the room is beautiful, and breakfast is another highlight. There is always a good variety, but my go to is the 烧鹅濑粉. It is honestly the best I have ever had. Looking forward to my next stay.

GGuest UserWe would like to share our experience of staying at this hotel for two weeks. First of all, the location is very convenient — both for getting around on foot or by metro (which is nearby), and for ordering a taxi. The bed is very comfortable, which was very important for us — large, perfectly balanced in terms of softness, overall excellent. The breakfasts are varied, with both ready-made dishes and the option for a chef to quickly prepare something for you from the menu. There are also disposable personal hygiene items available. We would especially like to highlight the excellent service and support in any matter from Vicky and Sandy — they are always happy to help. You can be sure that you will receive assistance here whenever you need it. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back, as well as recommend this hotel to our friends.

AAnonymous UserCentrally located, connected directly to Taikoo Hui shopping mall and office towers, with underground access to the subway. The surrounding area is bustling with plenty of shops and restaurants. The hotel maintains Mandarin Oriental's consistently high standards of service and attention to detail, making for a truly delightful overall experience. The cleanliness is impeccable, and the heated pool, bar, gym, and restaurants are all well-maintained and running smoothly. All staff members are polite, proactively helpful, and always smiling. Both check-in and check-out were very efficient, and the doormen and concierge service were exceptional. This is definitely a hotel worth returning to.

AAnonymous UserThe facilities and bedding aren't top-notch, but Yingbinguan has its own charm. As soon as I arrived at the front desk, the lady's gentle smile made me feel so welcome, like a breath of fresh air. The ceramic cups, which are a rare sight now, brought back memories of my student days. I was pleasantly surprised to find hair ties and clips in the elevator lobby on my floor, which was a super thoughtful touch! You absolutely must try the Sachima at breakfast – it melts in your mouth, full of eggy goodness. There's also ice cream and a variety of drinks. The hotel garden was also stunning; I even saw peacocks! The location is excellent, and parking is convenient. I'll definitely be back to stay again!👍

LlooilyThis isn't my first time staying at this hotel, and their service consistently surpasses that of others. First off, the rooms are spacious, and the bathrooms are large and well-appointed. I truly appreciate how seriously they take every request; in fact, all my requests have been met without issue. When I asked for a late checkout, they accommodated me with a room on a higher floor, away from any noise. I've also commended their housekeeping service before; they are incredibly trustworthy and remarkably quiet when cleaning other rooms – a significant detail, unlike many other hotels. Their cleaning standards are, simply put, top-notch. And let's not forget the doorman. Every time you arrive, he spots you from a distance and immediately comes to help with your bags, always with a warm smile and a friendly, eager attitude. Now, about the front desk – their service this time was even more impressive than I anticipated. Even though my room already had a luggage scale, I requested another one. They provided it and told me to keep it until my departure, so I wouldn't feel rushed. On another occasion, I felt a bit dizzy because I hadn't eaten. I immediately went downstairs, and they promptly checked me for any injuries. They brought me coffee and sweets in case my blood sugar had dropped and even called the manager, who personally came to my room to check on me. This hotel truly feels like a fairytale. Their attentiveness is incredible; even without knowing a guest personally, they treat everyone with such care, making you feel like the most important person in the room. They even thoughtfully provided me with non-slip slippers out of concern for my safety, despite the floors not being slippery at all. Without a doubt, I will choose this hotel every time I visit Guangzhou. A huge thank you to all the staff; I hope they continue to maintain this exceptional level of service.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel's gym was a real pleasant surprise! It's not huge, but it's incredibly well-equipped – the cardio machines, especially the treadmills, are in great condition, and the strength area has a good mix of machines and free weights. It's perfectly adequate for maintaining your workout routine while traveling. What really stood out was how immaculately clean it was. Staff were on hand to wipe down and sanitize equipment immediately after use, and the floor was always spotless, with no sweat marks or odors, perfectly consistent with the 'spotless and orderly' style of the rooms. The changing rooms and showers were just as clean and well-ventilated. For business travelers or tourists, being able to get a workout in at the end of the day or first thing in the morning is a real refresher! Overall, this hotel truly embodies 'cleanliness and order' in every detail, from the guest rooms to the public areas, making for a very consistent experience. Highly recommended!

HHaska7Castle hotel is a beautiful and well maintained environment. The facilities are perfect for families, with a play room, heated swimming pool, and outdoor playground. There is also a ”sand pit” for children, but it looks like an old unused sand trap from the golf course. Nevertheless, my son enjoyed digging in it. The room was a double floor with a mezzanine balcony inside and an outdoor balcony overlooking the scenic golf court. We booked a family room for children and were assigned the ”Spiderman” room, which wasn't my favorite decor, but my son enjoyed it. Some of the room facilities such as stickers and decor needed refreshing and was old and worn (i.e. spiderman wall stickers with tears, remote for downstairs t.v. didn't work great, rubber padding around t.v. was in need of refreshing, behind the screen in the upstairs hadn't been dusted in a long time). However, the majority of the room was attractive and comfortable. The rest of the hotel was elegant and felt upscale. There were some vegetarian choices in the ”a la carte” menu of the restaurant and the breakfast buffet was fantastic. We were unable to order room service from the phone app in English so we needed to order at the front desk. The staff were incredibly helpful, some spoke English, and everyone was courteous and helped us to have a great time. The executive lounge was open from 2:00 or 3:00 onwards and offered nice snacks. My son loved visiting there in the afternoons and loading up on snacks. Overall, a great experience and we will be back.

WWaltzCame to Dongguan for a basketball game and chose this hotel. The hotel is a bit old, but well-maintained, located in the middle of a golf course, surrounded by greenery, and very quiet. Even though it was November, my kids insisted on swimming, and the water was very clean with not many people around. It was very relaxing to vacation here. Breakfast options were limited and just so-so, but the hotel's set lunch for two was decent. Special shoutout to service staff Xiao Zhu (Little Zhu) for his warm and attentive service. He explained everything clearly and in detail, and even helped us move a bed. Thank you! I'd definitely come back to stay here again if I have the chance.

ZZouacaishuiquaOur overall experience was great, especially since it wasn't peak season. There were plenty of water park attractions, and the electronic music bubble show was a highlight. My only minor complaint is that the sand on the artificial beach was a bit coarse and rough on the feet. The indoor 'Planet Fun' amusement park was really enjoyable when it wasn't crowded. The space-themed design is beautiful and captivating, almost like a mini-Meland. The room was also better than expected; I'd seen many reviews mentioning it being old and musty, but the room we stayed in didn't have any major issues. The breakfast buffet's capacity needs improvement; even with a moderate crowd, there were long lines. However, the staff were all very pleasant and proactive in resolving issues. You can have food deliveries sent to the takeout lockers on the first floor of the main building, which isn't too much hassle to pick up. That said, the hotel's Han Palace Chinese restaurant is actually quite good, and the staff are very helpful, even reminding you to use discount coupons.
