I was lucky enough to get an upgrade to the 5-star hotel across the street. Both hotels are very close to each other, and it's convenient to get to the beach from either. The airport shuttle was also convenient and punctual.

I was worried about the accommodation conditions before checking in, but I was completely amazed once I arrived. It's a true sea-view room, offering a direct view of Gulangyu Island, and it's very clean. The disposable towels were a thoughtful touch, and the butler service was available 24/7. The location is super convenient; everything is just a short distance away. It was a very satisfying stay.

I especially want to give a shout-out and a huge thank you to 'Three Sea Dogs' for their incredibly sincere service! This was my first time in Changle, and I truly felt the kindness and friendliness of this place ☺️ I traveled to Changle with an injured left hand. Before my trip, I inquired about various things around the guesthouse, and the customer service was very patient and detailed in their replies. After comparing several places' surroundings (the beach is about a 5-minute walk away) and location (the airport is roughly a 10-minute drive), I found this guesthouse to be the most suitable. They even offer free airport shuttle service, which was a huge bonus for someone like me with some mobility issues~ Upon checking in, I was very satisfied with the room. It was spacious, clean, bright, and tidy, with a full set of disposable toiletries (toothbrush, comb, bath towel, slippers, etc.), ensuring safety and hygiene. The sea-view room offered a wide, open view, and waking up to see the ocean was wonderful! The large projection screen also made resting in the room far from boring! When it was too hot to go out, enjoying the sea view while watching a movie on the projector and ordering some local takeout was pure bliss 😎 For multi-night stays, they proactively asked if I needed room cleaning. If I was in the room when the housekeeping staff came, they would also ask if there was anything else that needed tidying up, which was very thoughtful! I particularly want to highlight how much the guesthouse helped me on my last day in Changle: The first instance was when I couldn't get a taxi. I was at my last destination, Meihua Ancient Town, and needed to get back to the guesthouse to pick up my luggage after exploring. However, there were very few ride-hailing cars around. I tried for 40 minutes and no driver accepted my order. I was so anxious, terrified of missing my flight home. When the guesthouse learned about my situation, even though it was outside their airport shuttle service area, they actively helped me contact a driver who had already finished work. Although I eventually managed to hail a taxi myself, I still want to especially thank the guesthouse and the driver for their kindness. The second instance was recovering a lost item: I left my ring by the sink in the room when checking out and only realized it after landing. I immediately contacted the guesthouse and quickly received a message that the housekeeping staff had found it and put it aside. I also want to specially thank the guesthouse and the housekeeping staff for their responsibility... Overall, although there were minor bumps in the road during my trip, thanks to the diligent, meticulous, thoughtful, and responsible service from 'Three Sea Dogs' Guesthouse, what could have been a mood-spoiling experience turned into one of my most cherished and shining memories of Changle. I highly recommend Changle to all sea-lovers, as it boasts many stunning sea views, and I even more highly recommend staying at 'Three Sea Dogs' Guesthouse. The room is very comfortable and clean, and the hygiene is very positive every day. The service is very good, the front desk and the boss who drinks tea next to you will chat with you and provide information. The shuttle service to and from the island pier: very convenient, the master is very good. The picture and the house actually match. The boss and staff are very good, the people are very simple, there will be no sales. Many places will tell you how to go, the battery car will also tell you where to rent a car, the location of the homestay is very good, the traffic, and the photo check-in are very convenient, the whole journey is great.

The receptionist was very helpful and assisted us with our travel itinerary. She even upgraded our room. The room had a great view, was clean and comfortable, but the breakfast was a bit simple. It would have been even better if the variety of dishes had been expanded!

This stay far exceeded my expectations, I simply have to rave about this hidden gem of a guesthouse! The location is truly impeccable. Perched on a gentle hillside along the Huandao Road, it’s right by the Lin'hai section of the Xiamen Mountain and Sea Trail. A short walk leads you to Pankui Tower for a photo op, and the coastal mountain views along the way are breathtaking. Even more delightful, you can stroll to the beach in just 10 minutes in your flip-flops, allowing you to connect with the ocean anytime. In the evening, watching the sunset from the trail, I looked back to see the guesthouse nestled in the mountains – a scene as beautiful as a painting. The room itself was stunning. The design, a blend of Japanese Zen and Nordic styles, felt warm and refined. It was spotless and carried a subtle, pleasant scent. The massive floor-to-ceiling window directly faced the sea, offering panoramic views of the winding coastal landscape right from the bed. Our room even had a private hot spring bath – it was incredibly relaxing to soak after a hike. At night, opening the window allowed the gentle sea breeze to drift in, and falling asleep to the faint sound of waves was utterly therapeutic. What truly touched me was the thoughtful service from the front desk staff and the team. Before check-in, they sent detailed directions and weather alerts. Knowing I planned to wake up early to catch the sunrise, they thoughtfully packed my breakfast in a sealed bag for me to take on the go. The breakfast, with its steamed buns, lava buns, and congee, was substantial. The afternoon tea's mango was sweet and refreshing, and the collagen-rich tremella soup – every bite was made with care. Any questions I had via WeChat were answered incredibly quickly, and they patiently guided me when I got lost, making me feel exceptionally warm and cared for. From sunrise to sunset, from hiking and sightseeing to enjoying the breeze in the courtyard, every moment here was so relaxing. This isn't just a place to stay; it feels more like a seaside home where you can shed all your fatigue. I've already recommended it to all my friends and will definitely be back!

Our stay was absolutely amazing! As soon as we landed, hotel staff were waiting at the airport to take us to our pre-arranged shuttle. I thought it would be a bus, but it was a private car – talk about a VIP experience! Bottled water was immediately offered, instantly relieving the heat from our journey. We were pleasantly surprised with a free room upgrade during check-in, which was a very thoughtful gesture. Our room's balcony faced directly onto the pool and the sea, offering a wide and therapeutic view; every room boasts stunning 180° panoramic ocean views. The infinity pool seamlessly merged with the seascape in the evening, making every photo Instagram-worthy. The dining experience was superb! The pork chop at the restaurant on the first basement floor was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the creamy pasta had a rich, milky flavor. The freshly squeezed juice at breakfast was refreshing, and the complimentary afternoon tea was made to order, with crispy pastry and exquisite, art-like presentation. Both the buffet breakfast and the fresh seafood at the 1697 restaurant were fantastic – you really can't go wrong with anything you order. The amenities were plentiful, and the service was impeccable. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful, and the lobby manager patiently explained things and assisted with arranging our Gulangyu Island trip for the next day, reminding us to book ferry tickets. We didn't have to worry about a thing throughout our stay. Swimming in the pool, enjoying the sea view, savoring delicious food, and watching the sunrise 🌅 – we'll definitely choose this hotel again next time we're in Xiamen!

The hotel is excellent for families. The outdoor pool is large, with different areas and slides for children. The soft play area was clean and fun for them to play too. The location next to the beach was perfect and it was a short taxi ride into downtown. The staff were friendly and helpful. My daughter left her teddy bear in the room when we left and they arranged to send the bear to our home address. We would stay there again!
