This hotel is just over 3 km from the airport, and there's a free shuttle bus from Gate 6 that runs every half hour, which is super convenient. You can even book an airport drop-off according to your flight schedule. The hotel is luxurious, and the price is affordable, offering excellent value for money. I'll definitely stay here again next time!

From check-in to check-out, the experience exceeded my expectations. 🌟 Location: Convenient transportation, a 5-minute walk from the subway station, with plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. It's quiet and not noisy at night. 🏨 Room: The design is simple and modern, the bedding is comfortable (the mattress is just right, not too soft or too hard), and the shower has strong water pressure with fast hot water. The details are well thought out – plenty of charging outlets, a mini-fridge, and effective blackout curtains. 🤵 Service: The front desk staff are enthusiastic and professional, proactively reminding us about the weather and tourist attractions. Housekeeping responds quickly; items we needed were delivered within minutes. 🍽️ Breakfast: A rich variety, with authentic local snacks and delicious freshly ground coffee. 💯 Value for Money: Absolutely excellent value for its price range! We even received a small souvenir upon check-out, which was a thoughtful touch. I will definitely choose this place again next time I visit this city. Very satisfied with this stay! The room was clean and tidy, the bed was especially comfortable, and I slept soundly all night. The staff were friendly and helpful, answering all our questions. The location is convenient, and it's a short taxi ride to all the attractions. The breakfast was simple but tasty. Recommended! I must commend the service at this hotel! Traveling with a child, the front desk specifically arranged a quiet room and provided children's slippers and toothbrushes. The soundproofing in the room was excellent, and the hygiene was impeccable. The non-slip mat in the bathroom and the emergency call button provided peace of mind. Let me write a serious review about this accommodation experience. I landed at 1 AM, and there was still a staff member there for the late-night airport pickup. Communication was very smooth. Thumbs up. It was already late when I checked in. A second staff member helped me with the check-in process and then assisted with carrying my luggage. This saved a lot of time and effort. Thumbs up. The next day, I wanted to extend my stay, but it seemed all the rooms were booked. I bothered the second staff member again to help coordinate, and eventually, I didn't have to switch rooms and could continue staying in my original room. Thumbs up. It happened to be graduation season for university students, so there were many young people staying who were up late at night. As a middle-aged person who has trouble sleeping, I once again bothered the front desk staff. Their response was very quick, and after a while, the surroundings became much quieter. I felt really bad about bothering the staff; as the saying goes, 'customers' requests keep the staff on their toes,' but their attitude was genuinely excellent. The apartment was also clean, and the disposable amenities made me feel more at ease. Thumbs up. Finally, the staff member asked if I needed an airport drop-off. From start to finish, the service was complete and thorough. Thumbs up. The beach opposite the apartment was less crowded, had a great atmosphere, and was perfect for photos.

The room is very comfortable and clean, and the hygiene is very positive every day. The service is very good, the front desk and the boss who drinks tea next to you will chat with you and provide information. The shuttle service to and from the island pier: very convenient, the master is very good. The picture and the house actually match. The boss and staff are very good, the people are very simple, there will be no sales. Many places will tell you how to go, the battery car will also tell you where to rent a car, the location of the homestay is very good, the traffic, and the photo check-in are very convenient, the whole journey is great.

I gave it a 4.5-star rating, just to keep them humble and prevent them from getting too proud if it were a perfect 5. 😉 The hotel lobby, though small, is cozy and welcoming. There was a lovely, round-faced lady at the front desk who was especially friendly. The bed in the room was very comfortable, and despite being close to the road, the windows offered good sound insulation. However, the soundproofing between rooms wasn't as great. 😅 The restaurant is on the sixth floor; while the breakfast selection isn't vast, it's sufficient. The rooftop view is also quite nice, making it a perfect spot for sunbathing and relaxing. All in all, I was quite satisfied with my stay!

I booked it for just over 200 [local currency], and coming from a MUJI hotel in Beijing (where the average price is over a thousand), I found this place to be far superior! The MUJI hotel was so not worth it (.). Even their bathtub wasn't as comfortable as this one 😌. But seriously, I highly recommend it! For the price of just over 200, I felt like I was enjoying the amenities of a 2000+ [local currency] sea-view hotel. You really wouldn't believe it's only about 200 a night. The sea view here is truly stunning, even more beautiful than Aranya. Make sure to check in on a sunny day, it's essential to come when it's sunny! In the afternoon, first catch the sunset 🌇, then grab a bowl of satay noodles at Qiaotou, head back to the guesthouse to order a drink, watch some shows, and take a relaxing bath. They provide disposable bath liners for the tub, so no worries there. The bedding is comfortable and spacious. Then, set an alarm, check the weather forecast for sunrise time, and head up to the top floor (7th floor) 15 minutes early to watch the sunrise. If the sunset here captivates your heart, I personally think the morning sunrise is mesmerizing. The sunlight is orange, and the entire view is bathed in orange, as if the real world has a filter applied. The sea and sky blend seamlessly, making you feel refreshed and relaxed. It's only when distant boats create ripples that you can distinguish the surface of the sea. Then, the vibrant red sun breaks through the clouds, and the sky's color changes from orange to rosy blue, and finally to white light. It's truly hard to express in words. I've always felt that Jimei is an indispensable part of Xiamen tourism; I recommend setting aside a day to truly take in the sea views. As a Xiamen local, I saw a different Xiamen here – bustling with traffic, constantly busy, always rushing through the day. I'm also glad about my choice; I took a break from my busy life, allowing myself to relax and ease my depressed mood. Furthermore, I must mention this! The hotel service is excellent. The front desk staff are so friendly and welcoming, making you feel like a friend. And the hotel's sunrise viewing restaurant 🍴 is free!!! No charge! You can eat while watching the sunrise! And it's not a shoddy meal either – soy milk, congee, pickles, eggs, fried rice, stir-fries, various kinds of siomai, dumplings, tea... The value for money! It's truly blissful 😭! Who understands the joy of enjoying beautiful scenery while eating!!! (A jab at some hotels that charge for breakfast, how dare they!). The only downside is that there isn't much to do in the immediate vicinity. You can do what I did: set aside a day specifically to relax, watch the sea, and simply unwind. All photos were taken with an iPhone's native camera 🎬 with no post-processing! It's even more beautiful in person! Next time, I need to wear makeup for photos 😭

Gulangyu Island boasts over a thousand villas of various styles, and while 'The Wizard of Oz' might not be the most luxurious, the walls completely covered in climbing ivy give the entire building an ancient, mysterious, yet vibrant feel. A straight wooden staircase leads you to each tightly closed wooden door. Standing on the small balcony in the morning, I was instantly moved to tears by the bougainvillea blooming in abundance at the corner of the wall! This is definitely a building that lives up to its name, 'The Wizard of Oz! A Century-Old Secret Realm'! The room's amenities were impeccable, but the service was even more touching. The young man at the front desk was our guide, our greeter, our room tour host, and even helped us with our luggage when he had a spare moment. On the second day, he was even the one preparing our afternoon tea and coffee! He truly delivered on the promise of 24-hour service! Not only was he available on call, but he also provided personalized service based on our preferences. He's a rare gem! I loved it so much that I extended my stay by another night, and if I could, I'd want to live there forever! I'll be back, 'The Wizard of Oz'!!!

The soundproofing was an even bigger surprise; we heard no outside noise at all at night, ensuring a wonderfully peaceful sleep. The housekeeping staff did a meticulous job daily, not only tidying up our scattered belongings but also noticing I wear glasses and thoughtfully placing lens wipes by the bedside. Small details like the customized wet wipes in the bathroom and the phone stand on the desk truly hit home [__LINK_ICON]. One day, I casually mentioned needing a softer pillow, and it was delivered very quickly. The dining experience at the hotel was completely effortless. Breakfast offered a wide variety of both Western and Chinese dishes, with fresh and juicy fruits. The 'mian xian hu' (vermicelli paste) was also superb, and the server even advised on how to best enjoy it – very nice! We could try different options every day [__LINK_ICON], and the service staff were incredibly enthusiastic. For dinner, we tried the specialty dishes, and the flavors were authentic. I've already recommended this hotel to friends, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit!

Excellent transit stay near Fuzhou Changle Airport! The apartment is spacious, clean, and offers a lovely sea view. The owner provides free airport pickup/drop-off and was very friendly – he even dropped us at Wanshou subway when available (ask in advance). Located just a 5-minute walk from a beach, with a few small restaurants and a mini-mart nearby, perfect for breakfast. Highly convenient for an overnight airport stop.”

The hotel's facilities, breakfast, staff service, ambiance, and location are all exceptionally good. The butler service was very thoughtful and attentive. During the New Year's Day holiday, the hotel was mostly full of families with children, so it was quite noisy at night (the kind of noise that even good soundproofing couldn't block). As a light sleeper, I couldn't handle it, so the butler helped me move to the quieter Water Garden area, which I really liked. Because I couldn't sleep well, my chronic stomach issues flared up, and I couldn't eat anything, everything looked heavy and greasy. I just wanted something light. That evening, the butler thoughtfully arranged for some warm, soft-boiled plain congee and side dishes to be delivered to my room, which was truly a lifesaver.
