For me, nothing was particularly bad, that’s the thing. Everything was okay, comfortable, acceptable…but I didn’t get that “WOW, this is a 5-star hotel!” feeling. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, but I was quite surprised that the tea selection was limited to Lipton, with Nescafé for coffee. I would have appreciated a slightly better selection, perhaps Dilmah or a few different varieties of tea. It may seem like a small detail, but these little touches really contribute to the overall premium experience. Breakfast? Okay. Cuma personally I expected a little more variety from a 5-star hotel. Service? Okay. Good. Pool? Nice. Gym? Good. Big View? Very Beautiful. 🌅

City Rise Hotel Miri – Spacious Room & Great Location The room was huge and spacious, although our double-bed room had no window. Unfortunately, there was a strong urine-like smell coming from the toilet when we first opened the room door, which was quite unpleasant. I also found some hair beside the bed, so cleanliness could definitely be improved. The basement parking is limited, and one annoying thing is that you need to check in first before you’re allowed to park in the basement. We were told not to park at the side of the lobby even just for a short while while checking in. We explained that we needed to check in first, but the security guard said the area was for police 😂. The security staff at the lobby could also have been more welcoming and friendly. During breakfast at Called Coffee Café, I found it quite funny that they didn’t have latte available. 😂 On the positive side, the location is very convenient, with plenty of places to eat nearby and easy access to Parkson and Imperial Mall. The breakfast selection was otherwise awesome, and the room itself was very spacious. Overall, the hotel has a great location and lots of potential, but there are some areas that could be improved, especially cleanliness, parking arrangements and customer service.

This hotel holds so many childhood memories and growing-up experiences for me. It's a bit sad to see it aging now, and unfortunately, the maintenance hasn't kept up. The toilets and pool definitely need renovation. The breakfast options are a bit limited, but the laksa is truly delicious and a must-try! The hotel is very affordable, and overall, the experience was still good. A 2-day, 1-night stay was just right.

Just arrived at the hotel and was informed that there was ongoing water pipe repair work outside, which caused a temporary water disruption during the daytime. We couldn’t shower or wash our hands for a while, which was quite inconvenient. Thankfully, the water supply returned to normal again in the evening. Front desk staff were still very polite and helpful throughout the situation. We booked the Deluxe Single Room, and the king-sized bed was very comfortable and spacious, enough for us two adults and our 2yo child, with plenty of extra space. However, the bed felt slightly damp when we first arrived, but it became better later at night. The hotel also has a family pool and direct beach access, which makes it a great place for families with kids to relax and unwind. The buffet breakfast menu was also quite rich with plenty of choices.

Had a wonderful stay at Jinhold Hotel Miri! The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with all the essential amenities provided. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to assist with a smile. The hotel's location is convenient, with easy access to the airport, shopping areas, and local attractions. The breakfast offered a good variety of choices, and the overall environment was peaceful and relaxing. Great value for money and an excellent choice for both business and leisure travelers. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Miri!

Overall Experience recently stayed at Hotel Abell Kuching and had a wonderful experience. The hotel offers great value for money and sits in an excellent location. From check-in to check-out, the entire experience was smooth, pleasant, and highly satisfying. The housekeeping team clearly does a fantastic job ensuring everything is spotless before guests arrive. The bedding was fresh, the towels were pristine, and the overall room environment felt very hygienic and comfortable to rest in after a long day of exploring.Staff & Front Desk Service, A huge highlight of our stay was the staff. The front desk team was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. They greeted us with warm smiles and handled our check-in swiftly. Throughout our stay, they were always ready to assist with directions and local recommendations, making us feel right at home.Dining & Room Service. The breakfast provided was absolutely delicious. There was a good variety of options to choose from, and everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. It was the perfect way to start our mornings. Additionally, we ordered room service during our stay. The food arrived hot, the delivery was prompt, and the service was executed with a great, polite attitude.Minor Issue Swiftly Resolved. The only minor hiccup we encountered was a slight drain smell in the bathroom upon arrival. However, as soon as we notified the staff, they took immediate action. The maintenance team settled the issue completely and efficiently, showing just how attentive and responsive the hotel management is to guest comfort.

It was a beautiful experience. Our stay in Pullman Kuching is fun. The room is so comfortable and clean. We were surprised because my requests were granted and we were able to celebrate a late birthday celebration for my cousin. Also, the city view from our room is so beautiful and we can see the sunrise. We highly recommend this hotel.

This resort offers the unique pleasure of combining a seaside vacation with a forest retreat, thanks to its special room design. It's small but has everything you need. The staff at the resort are also very friendly and provide excellent service.

We enjoyed our stay so much in Voco, love the architecture of the hotel and especially the interior design of the hotel room and bathroom! Also, we love the hotel breakfast with lots of variety! Definitely recommended to people who plan to visit Kuching :)
