The staff were welcoming, greeting us with refreshing drinks upon our arrival in the lobby. However, I was disappointed to find that we were assigned a room facing the kids swimming pool, lacking the promised sea view that was stated in my reservation. Apart from this, the overall stay was satisfactory.

I was able to check in early, which was super convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, neat, and very comfortable — really satisfied with the stay! The location was also great, easy access to food and nearby places. Overall, definitely recommended!

Great Choice for Families with Kids I recently stayed at this hotel with my small family, and it turned out to be an excellent choice for a short and convenient trip. The receptionist recommended a cozy family room that suited us perfectly — comfortable, clean, and ideal for parents traveling with young children. One of the biggest advantages is the location. The hotel is within walking distance of many key attractions, making it very easy to plan outings with kids. There’s also a shopping area located within the same building, which was extremely convenient. We were able to get almost anything we needed before 9 PM without having to go far. As for dining, I wouldn’t recommend the food court attached to the building. The hotel’s own dining options or nearby restaurants offer a much better experience in terms of quality and comfort, especially when traveling with children. Overall, this hotel offers great service, an excellent location, and a family-friendly setup. I would gladly return and recommend it to others looking for a hassle-free stay with kids.

I had a truly pleasant experience staying at the Grand Margherita Hotel in Kuching. The location is excellent—right by the waterfront—making it very convenient for sightseeing, relaxing walks, and exploring nearby attractions and eateries. The room was comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, providing a relaxing environment throughout my stay. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help, which made the whole experience even better. Breakfast had a good selection, with both local and international options, and the dining area was comfortable and spacious. Facilities like the pool and common areas were also well-kept and enjoyable. Overall, Grand Margherita Hotel offers great comfort, good service, and an ideal location. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Kuching, whether for leisure or business.

Hotel is near to Kuching waterfront and many tourist attractions around the Sarawak river. The infinity Swimming pool will be the highlight of this hotel overseeing the Sarawak river It is also the newest hotel in the area, so facilities wise is quite well maintained

Hotel room is clean but a bit noisy at night as the room is facing the main road. Front desk is efficient during checked in and housekeeping service is good. Staff is very polite and courteous.

Nothing fancy but very practical and strategically located hotel at the riverside. Good for business or couple. The room is clean, mattress is solid and the shower pressure is so far the best over my years of travelling. The rates are the better one as compared to other neighbors. The reception is also friendly. 7-11 convenient stall located opposite hotel entrance.

The hotel is located in the town area, just walking distance to the main bazaar, waterfront, and other tourist attractions. Very convenient. The pool and cardio room is located at the other wing, there is a bridge to walk over.

Location near to hospital, however far from town, but accessible with taxi. Loud noise penetrates into the room if ambulance siren, noisy bikes and cars, as the glasses are not thick enough to block the noises. Lack of amenities. However, the facilities are still new. Good interiors. Balcony is spacious. Impressive water pressure and constant hot water. Tentative staff. Good breakfast.

Was a bit disapointed with the f&b staff especially the 2 staff at the kolo mee and egg station. Not friendly at all and i felt like i hv to begged them to get what i want since they showed zero interest to communicate with the guest. And what with the annoyed face!! But other than that everything else was ok.
