The bathroom was long and narrow, and the room decor was a bit dated. The sink didn't drain well. Breakfast, however, was quite plentiful. The front desk is on the 3rd floor. It has a Muslim style, and many Malay guests stay here. There's a hospital and Parkson nearby, and a money changer diagonally opposite. It's a 20-minute, 10 MYR taxi ride to the main tourist attractions around Dutch Square.

The hotel room was very spacious, with large floor-to-ceiling windows offering an expansive view of St. Paul's Hill and the palace in the distance. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, making it very quiet. It exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend it.

This time I chose the Dusit Thani Princess Hotel in Malacca, Malaysia. Since I took a long-distance bus from Kuala Lumpur to Malacca, I arrived at the hotel after 3 PM. At the front desk, the staff upgraded me to a room on a higher floor and gave me a 50 MYR dining voucher. I immediately went to the Western restaurant on the first floor and filled my stomach with warm pasta and a vegetable salad, which was incredibly heartwarming. The room was quite spacious with a great view, overlooking the scenery of Malacca, with the Malacca River below. It's a five-minute drive to the Red Square (Dutch Square), the lively Jonker Street, and other main attractions like the A Famosa ruins. The breakfast offered a rich mix of Chinese and Western dishes. The staff member, Joey, even patiently helped me download a ride-hailing app, which was very thoughtful. This hotel left me with wonderful memories and is highly recommended!

Excellent location with plenty of great food nearby. The huge parking lot out front was a lifesaver for us, coming from out of town – super convenient. Plus, there's a pool where you don't even need a swimsuit! The front desk staff were all really friendly, and the room was spotless. Had a very comfortable stay.

HARGA BILIK & PENDAFTARAN MASUK Kebiasaannya harga bilik di Hotel The Lisbon sekitar RM 300± tapi bila dapat harga RM183± tanpa sarapan di Trip.com memang berbaloi. Urusan pendaftaran sangat cepat, mesra dan mudah. Tidak seperti hotel kebiasaan, staf receptionist The Lisbon memang wajar dipuji kerana bila kita sampai di kaunter, mereka dah standby siap kad bilik dan borang yg perlu diisi dalam satu folder plastik, jadi hanya perlu mention nama penuh, mereka terus beri borang utk diisi dan bayar RM5 utk heritage charge. Tiada deposit yg mahal lagi mengarut dikenakan. BILIK Sesuai dengan harga, bilik lengkap dengan katil berserta tilam yg empuk. TV ada Netflix, Youtube, AppleTV, Prime and so on. Juga lengkap dgn iron, coffee corner, hair dryer, safety box, bath robe dan tuala. Tidak lupa utk buat Muslim, sejadah ada disediakan di sini. Namun sayang sekali utk toilet, tiada botol kecil syampu utk dibawa balik sbg kenangan dan saya ada request complimentary deco for anniversary yg ringkas spt deco tuala tapi mungkin pihak mereka terlepas pandang email permintaan saya tapi The Lisbon menebus silap terlepas pandang dengan beri sarapan percuma utk 2 org SARAPAN Banyak pilihan sarapan yg tersedia meskipun dihidang dalam kuantiti yg kurang sedikit mungkin berdasarkan faktor bilangan tetamu. Namun, wajar dipuji kerana banyak pilihan dan sedap. Bagi mereka ada anak kecil, jangan terlepas pandang seksyen makanan utk anak² ada disediakan siap dengan kertas lukisan mewarna jika anak² bosan. PERSEKITARAN Cantik, ada kolam renang yg luas utk dewasa dan kanak². klasik sinonim dengan nama The Lisbon Melaka. Tapi mungkin kekangan atau kekurangan manpower, jadi ada few tempat agak kelihatan semak Overall, The Lisbon Melaka boleh menjadi hotel mesra keluarga jika The Lisbon kekal menjaga kualiti sampai bila². My 2nd times staying in Majestic Malacca. Glad to be back! Overall experience was good, very welcoming and comfort room, friendly and helpful staff except the breakfast 😅… I was very disappointed with the dining experience. The breakfast was bad. Menu items lacked seasoning and don’t look appetites. The coffee lacks distinct flavor and tastes flat too … I hope the management can look into the quality control of the kitchen to make sure the foods quality is up to the 5 star hotel standards.

This hotel is located within walking distance to Jonker Street. Built Melaka, and Stadhuy's, as well as to many cafes and eateries. While one may point to many other hotels populated there. Ibis Melaka stands out above most others with clean and working facilities and amenities. I have stayed in a number of hotels there and I can safely say that the hotel will meet the expectation of many people. The reception staffs are efficient. The cleaning staffs are hardworking. I had a restful stay there.

There are many rooms on each floor, but the decor is a bit outdated. There aren't many shops nearby, just an Indian-run convenience store across the street that closes quite early. The breakfast was decent, but considering we were abroad, the selection of Chinese food was limited, which is completely understandable.
