We stayed here for 4 nights as a base for visiting Thessaloniki. The hotel is well located on a busy central street. If you want to use the airport bus, it stops right outside. Our city view room was modern and clean, with good facilities. We had a comfortable big bed, fridge, safe, air conditioning and a bathroom with a large shower and a full range of toiletries. There was a coffee machine in the room, you could buy pods if you wanted to use it. The electric blinds were blackout blinds, so the room was nice and dark at night. The windows were effective at keeping out the noise of the traffic. The only issue with the room for us was that after the recent hotel renovation, you still cannot put toilet paper in the toilet, you have to use the bin next to it. Breakfast was good with a big selection of food including cereal, fruit, bread, meat, cheese, hot items, cake and pastries. The staff were helpful. There was a rooftop bar with a good view over the city. I would certainly stay here again if I return to Thessaloniki.

We arrived at 9.30 in the morning from the airport, very tired, expecting to wait for checking in till afternoon. To our big surprise we got the key and the room right away and could catch up on some sleep before venturing into town. Not many hotels would do it, so it was a great welcome! The good vibes about this hotel continued for us for the next few days. Breakfast was great. Vasili, Ronaldo, Anastasia, Helen, everyone in the hotel staff was great, extremely friendly, attentive and helpful. We couldn't wish for better service. The room was comfortable, very high tech, everything controlled by remote device. Location is good, on the edge of the city centre but close to the train station and transportation. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Thessaloniki. THANKS ONOMA

We stayed for 3 nights at this hotel slightly away from the main tourist sites in Thessaloniki. It is next to a main road so our front-facing room was quite noisy, sometimes late into the night. The room was a reasonable size and opened on to a small balcony. We were greeted in a friendly manner by the lady on the front desk and she provided us with lots of information about the city as we checked in. The breakfast, overall, was very good but we were not impressed on the first morning as much of the food had been taken by a largish tour group and there was a considerable delay to replenish. There were no similar problems on subsequent days. Despite the hotel being fifteen minutes walk to the sea front, we were able to make diversions in to the Ladadika each day on the route back. This is a really good area for a good choice of food and drink at very acceptable prices. The hotel is also convenient for the ferry port. Thessaloniki is certainly worth a few days stay and has a couple of really good modern museums. We would certainly consider the Anatolia Hotel if we were to return.

Perfectly located, luxury, historic hotel in the centre of the City. Our good-sized room had coastal views, a supremely-comfortable bed and marble bathroom. Great wifi. Quiet. Stocked minibar : good to see that peculiar hotel Covid paranoia finally over. Coffee and tea- making facilities provided, though only instant coffee - which was disappointing, perhaps more standard in Greece? The buffet breakfast at the rooftop restaurant / bar was generous, varied and provided a spectacular visita to start the day. (Remember to ask for Americano rather than black coffee so you get a barrista beverage). Other guests: couples and adult groups of all ages and nationalities.

This is a superb hotel, very clean and with a very friendly and helpful staff, (thank you Natassa) My room was a single, and for a small room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean, it even had a table and chair and a decent balcony. The toilet was small, clean with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was good, with reasonable choice, and well presented. The only minor complaint, but not really an issue as I could have packed my own, I would have given 5 stars if it had tea and coffee making in the room. I would definitely stay there again.

The room had an unsafe door handle which could have easily been opened without a key card. Staff said this was normal. We did take photos of this as we were shocked this was classed as normal. We stayed in many places during our stay in Greece and loved how friendly it was and had no hotel issues at all. Shower and facilities in this hotel were passable.The hotel had put a blue rope next to the pool but no official signage to say it was closed. It was a calm, sunny afternoon and the swimming pool was closed due to apparent adverse weather conditions leaving many families and children disappointed as this was the only reason they had booked the hotel. We booked a standard double room with balcony which we got. Our view was awful as it overlooked a motorway and car hire company but we did get what was advertised and did not complain about this. Not the hotels fault but the area was plagued with mosquitos and lots of children were savaged by this (you could see them everywhere). The breakfast provided had a good range of different food options and was quite nice. Other good points about this hotel were that the some staff were friendly and the free shuttle out of the place was easy with a friendly driver. If you have an early flight this hotel would be ok but you should arrive late in the evening to not be disappointed,

Very nice hotel, in a perfect location allowed us to find easily spots such as museums, churches, restaurants etc within walking distance. Comfortable and clean rooms. Compliments to all the staff!!

The location of the hotel is very far from the center, but it may be a good choice for those who will use the airport. The hotel had a huge sound insulation problem. We had a hard time sleeping throughout the night. All the noise from the next room and the corridor was coming to our room. There was a constant sound coming from somewhere in the room. We guess it might be a refrigerator. Overall the room cleaning was good but I think the carpets need to be removed. The carpets were not clean, there was hair on them. The beds were comfortable but very squeaky. It was disturbing. Also, the stain on the duvet was unpleasant. The staff was friendly and helpful. We found the breakfast sufficient and liked it.

Urban Donkey is a great option for your Thessaloniki stay. You are within walking distance to Aristotelous and all the major sites/museums, while staying in a surprisingly quiet area for Thessaloniki. The room was stylishly furnished in an industrial style with the mattress being extremely comfortable. The terrace is 10/10 and gives you a great perspective on Thessaloniki's urban core. The owners are very friendly and can provide you with awesome restaurant and bar tips. Strongly recommend staying here!

Special thanks to Nikos & Konstantina 😍 - Breakfast: Huge variety of extremely well done dishes, fresh local products & lovely ladies running the show ☕️🥐🥯 - Location: Couldn’t be better, totally central yet not noisy at all ✅ - Facilities: We chose that hotel for its urban legend vibe, location, value for money, parking access and last but not least pet friendliness. Not only they welcome us and our dogs with yummy treats when we arrived we walked into a fab room with a dog bed (per dog) which was definitely posher than ones we have at home 🐾 - Hotel: Super high ceiling elegantly, recently and brilliantly refurbished. Everything is brand new, super efficient and you definitely get more than you need 🥇 - Room: Well, from the quality of the materials, linens and so on our rooms had one of those showers you don’t want to walk out from 🔝 Overall we can’t wait to visit this favorite hotel and lovely city again 🤞🏩❤️

We needed 2 hotel rooms for one night In Thessaloniki close to the airport to catch a morning plane as we were returning from Thassos on the way to the UK. Rotonda was very affordable, easy parking and had really nice, clean and comfortable rooms with everything working. Very nice breakfast and breakfast area. The staff were very nice practical and helpful. The area is quiet so we got a good nights sleep. Cannot recommend more given the market positioning and price.

Very good hotel. It was a great experience. We got a free upgrade to a higher class room. The room was clean and comfortable, air conditioning and tv functioned correctly. Breakfast was fulfilling for its price. P.S. The personnel of the hotel even prepared breakfast for us because of our early check-out.

The sublime, unique and mystical environment, the peaceful mornings and evenings surrounded by vibrant forms of life: pristine pine forests, sparrows, butterflies, bees, the warm afternoons in which the harmonious olfactory notes of salt and sand enveloped us after hours of swimming in the waves that the sunlight bathes in and absorbing the beauty of a solarian autumn, the staff that became our forever friends through their kind and special souls and a wide variety of opportunities and services that made our well-being holistic - a humble description of how Simantro marked our lifes as an emotional refuge, a transcendental relaxation and healing journey of self-discovery, during our stay in September. THE SPA On this holiday we chose to rejoice the Aegeo Spa services, whilst their magical team of experts ensured our absolute recovery, comfort and health, through their professional and superior approach - they were excellent at providing physical treatments with numerous massage sessions and facial therapies. However, their gentle, luminous and understanding character offered something additional : a compassionate treatment of the soul. TIP: After a consultation of the condition we wished to achieve, that includes a form, an interview and a presentation of their facilities, they offered personalised packages that ended up being more profitable than individually selected services from their catalogue would have been! THE BEACH TIP: The Beach is extraordinary, especially during sunsets, when the scenery becomes mythical and breathtaking, as the cool evening breeze sways the shore into calmness and the observer into a meditative state. The water is fantastically clean, the sands are smooth and the entrance in the sea is not abrupt, maintains at an above-knee or middle-back level for about 10-15 meters from shore. THE FOOD The culinary delights were abundant, for every taste and preference. Moreover, there is a barbecue station within the restaurant where a chef provides freshly cooked steaks, vegetables. THE STAFF From the reservation department to the little supermarket, the reception, the restaurant and tavern, the luggage management, maintenance, the supplementary shuttle and transport service, etc. - the entirety of the employees are worthy of greatfulness, as they are the force motrice of this paradise! Everybody greets you with an open heart and respect, deposing great efforts and involvement to create a safe space for your development and activities, for your authentic manifestation. That is the power of Greek hospitality! The dedication is stimulated by their incredible hearts! TIP: The reception is extremely efficient, refined and prompt! Each time we requested a cab or had a small issue, our requests were resolved in the shortest time! The waiters and restaurant managers

Small hotel in a quiet location. Ideal as a starting point for excursions in any direction in Halkidiki. The place is small and you basically have everything you need. Nevertheless, we drove every day, which is highly recommended. The rooms are adequate and clean, for every request there was always someone on site and very helpful. If you write bad reviews here, please spend more money and go to a 5 star hotel. Value for money totally ok! We didn't book breakfast, but it still looked good for the hotel category. The beach is in the immediate vicinity and the hotel has its own loungers/umbrellas that can be used if you order drinks/food for 4 euros at the bar. Other beach bars are right next to it. We say thank you for the beautiful days in Chalkidiki🤍💙

Lovely hotel, perfect for families, very accommodating staff. I arrived a little nervous having read previous reviews but was very pleasantly surprised. The building and surround area is grand with lovely secluded beaches a short walk from the hotel. The staff were very accommodating and friendly and obviously work long hours as there from the morning until the evening. The pools are very cold so must be refreshing in the peak heat of the summer. The private beach was perfect for swimming in the clear sea. We went all inclusive we was great. All alcohol other than wine is branded, with a large selection of cocktails available. We dined at the beach restaurant/cafe which was nice but the portions are huge and felt overwhelmed by what we ordered (despite being warned by the waiting staff). There are semi domesticated dogs that roam the outside area that hang about, I’m sure looking for scraps and for people to pet them. I am not an animal person but felt more relaxed with them than I would normally. We went right at the end of October and so end of the season. Although this was a bonus for us as was less busy, there were clear signs of everything being packed up for the winter with bars shutting towards the end of our stay etc. We stayed in a two bedroom suite which was luxurious. Bottle of water refreshed every day, chocolates by the bed, fruit platter on arrival, red wine on arrival,local olive oil mid week, room cleaned daily, towels changed at least daily (even before we had used them int he morning!). All in all a very lovely holiday.

Στο ambassador hotel κάναμε τη δεξίωση του γάμου μας και όλα ήταν ονειρικά! Πρώτα απ' όλα, ο Πάρης και οι άνθρωποι του ξενοδοχείου μάς εντυπωσίασαν με τον επαγγελματισμό και την καλοσύνη τους. Έπειτα, το φαγητό δεν θύμιζε σε τίποτα τα κλασικά μενού που όλοι λίγο - πολύ έχουμε φάει (ναι σε αυτά τα ταλαιπωρημένα και ξερά κρέατα αναφέρομαι και στον καταθλιπτικό λαπά για συνοδευτικό). Πεντανόστιμες σαλάτες, θεσπέσια ορεκτικά και ζουμερό κυρίως (όλα σε σωστές θερμοκρασίες παρόλο που είχαμε γύρω στους 130 καλεσμένους)! Η τούρτα ήταν από άλλο πλανήτη και η εξυπηρέτηση δεν θα μπορούσε να είναι καλύτερη, αφού από κανένα τραπέζι δεν έλειψε νερό, αναψυκτικά και ποτά. Εμείς δεν κάναμε τίποτα, όλα ήταν άψογα - συντονισμένα και κανένας καλεσμένος δεν μας παραπονέθηκε, τουναντίον δύο εβδομάδες μετά, βρίσκουν ακόμη τους γονείς μας και τους λένε πως ποτέ ξανά σε γάμο δεν πέρασαν τόσο ωραία. Το ambassador τα συνδυάζει όλα: τοποθεσία (μια καταπληκτική πισίνα σε έναν ολάνθιστο κήπο), ποιότητα και ποσότητα (το φαγητό ήταν εξίσου - για να μην πω πιο νόστιμο - από το δοκιμαστικό που κάναμε), ευγένεια και κυρίως επαγγελματισμό και αγάπη γι' αυτό που κάνουν. Μεγάλο συν, μας διέθεσαν τη σουίτα για την πρώτη νύχτα και φτάνοντας από τη εκκλησία μας έφεραν φαγητό στο δωμάτιο για να τσιμπήσουμε κάτι, μέχρι να έρθει η ώρα να φάμε κανονικά. Σας ευχαριστούμε μέσα απ΄ την καρδιά μας που κάνατε εκείνη τη μέρα μοναδική και αξέχαστη και ευχόμαστε τα καλύτερα!

Business travel, close to the airport, there is a tennis hall next door, the facilities are old, the neighborhood is relatively deserted

I traveled alone and chose this hotel because of the distance to the airport and the pool. It was a wonderful experience. The pool, the rooms, the cleaning and the service are perfect. The hotel is located between Peraya and Thessanoliki, and those at the reception helped to order taxis both from the hotel and back. Very good service! You get two water bottles in the room every day. Water was also served by the pool. I did not get this every day. Especially on the weekends, many locals came to the pool. The food was ok and very cheap. 9 euros for a meal. My favorite was the toast and chicken club sandwich.

The process requirements are in line with Hyatt's standards, and the counter operations are international high-standard professional reception services. There are no shortcomings! The most satisfying thing is the pick-up and drop-off service provided by the concierge. Not only a few days before arrival, the airport pick-up meeting point map and step-by-step graphic instructions were emailed, making the pick-up and drop-off service simple and convenient, and it is also free. It’s absolutely perfect!!

I don't really know where to start, but we were looking at a hotel near the airport of Thessaloniki, so we saw the ”hotel” from the pictures, and we thought it was decent and, more generally, good enough for its price. We had to get in and into the room and we had to face something terrible: first, the room smelled terrible, second, all the furniture was corrupt and dirty, and we were afraid to touch anything. We came out of the room and went down to the hotel room and saw and realized that the hotel was full of immigrants, and immediately realized that it was a refugee hosting structure and that the hotel was a very small hotel. We decided to pack our stuff and get out of there, and when we left, we asked the gentleman who worked in the reception, why he didn't tell us from the beginning, and he told us that he just happened and that it wasn't a hostel structure, Then we asked him if all those in there were vaccinated, and he told us he thought he was, HOW he believed, and then he told us that reasonably the centre he sent them had vaccinated them something that finally made us realize that he didn't happen like It was reasonable that all this dialogue would anger us so we told the gentleman we would call the police, we were not far away, and in just five minutes the gentleman from the reception called us and told us to cancel the reservation and how we would We're getting our money back, your conclusions, it's not allowed to host a refugee hotel when they don't have the basic papers and it's also open for the rest of the world. I am not really badly committed and I would not want to offend anyone but here we are talking about hygiene issues in the midst of a pandemic.

Although a little out of the way the hotel is easy to find. There are shops, a pharmacy and a supermarket 8 minutes walk away to meet any needs of small children. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful and the swimming pool is very good. We have been to this hotel before six years ago, so returning here was nice. The only downside, the breakfast did not have as good a selection of fresh fruit or variety of yoghurt. Although I love Greek yoghurt. At the rear of the hotel near our room the staff had taken to dumping any large broken furniture or carpets outside the corridor window. In addition the swimming pool and area opened at 10 am yet clean up preparation of beds and cutting did not start till 10. Other than that the hotel is excellent and should be used by anyone passing this way.
