I’m really impressed with the level of service and attentiveness of the staff from our arrival to departure. They helped with luggage with the transfer from main gate to the reception and back when we checked out. They also helped with luggage from reception to the room. Concierge was really quick in responding. Don’t miss out on the accommodation villages and the scenery outside of the main tourist *****. We find it really nice to be able to explore after the rest of the tourists leaves at night and before the tourists arrives the next morning. Breakfast is buffet style with some western and Chinese food. It’s quite decent. Overall we are really happy with our stay and would recommend staying in the scenic area.

The facilities, hygiene, environment, and service were all excellent, offering great value for money. I'll definitely come back here on my next trip. Although it's a guesthouse, the management is top-notch, and the breakfast is incredibly rich and varied. The guesthouse is conveniently located right inside the scenic area, making it super easy to access the main attractions. You can even capture the beautiful night view of Wangxian Valley right from the hotel's rooftop!

The hotel is nice and a comfortable environment. It's location is a bit out of the way, but not too bad. The rooms are a bit small, particularly compared to similarly priced hotels in bigger cities. (e.g. I came from Shanghai and spent a similar price for a room that was easily 50% larger. Given Shanghai prices, it should have been the other way around.) The breakfast was very underwhelming. Poorly cooked ”western” food that only vaguely looked like what it was supposed to be, and tasted nothing like it. Small selection of lukewarm Chinese breakfast items. Tiny bottles of yoghurt. Very watered down juice.

This 12-day Chinese New Year family trip, Shangri-La Nanchang was by far the most comfortable hotel we stayed in. The location is superb, with convenient transportation. The tram downstairs goes directly to all the major popular attractions. What truly impressed me was the service; they genuinely made us feel at home. Check-in was very thoughtful. They proactively arranged our two rooms together and patiently explained why there was a connecting room in between (due to the king-size bed layout). They also meticulously inquired about all our needs. On the day we left, our child wasn't feeling well and fell asleep, and the hotel was incredibly accommodating, allowing us to extend our check-out until 2 PM without any rush or催促, which was particularly heartwarming. The room view was unbeatable, directly facing Tengwang Pavilion from the window. We could even watch the fireworks display from our room, and the staff even proactively reminded us to tune the TV to the music channel to accompany the viewing. Additionally, the robot delivery for takeout was very prompt, and the buffet dinner was affordable, delicious, and offered a wide variety of dishes. The overall experience was impeccable, highly recommended!

The B&B owner proactively contacted me a day in advance and sent me the exact location for a taxi. The B&B is located in Xiaoyong Village, on a mountain near Huangling. After getting out of the taxi, the owner picked us up on a motorized tricycle. The road was extremely narrow and winding, showcasing the owner's exceptional (seriously exceptional! You'll know what I mean when you try it...) driving skills. The B&B is very new and clean, and the owner is also very hospitable. The owner helped us arrange a car to Jiangling, which was affordable and provided excellent service. However, the Huangling scenic area itself was a bit of a rip-off. Staying at this B&B means you don't need to take the cable car, but the ticket price only drops by 20 RMB (from 165 to 145). Although the scenery is decent, it doesn't feel worth the price; it's quite commercialized... But it seems you can't visit Wuyuan without coming to Huangling. I highly recommend the B&B, it's just the ticket price for this scenic area... Heh heh...

Pros: Recently renovated and very clean, though I did find a hair on the headboard. When I reported it, nothing was done. The room type we booked was a 'three-choice' option, and they assigned us a standard room that comfortably fit three people, which was great. Cons: 1. The smell of new renovation was still very strong, definitely a 'flip property.' 2. Breakfast was incredibly unappetizing. The plain congee was greyish and had a sour smell. 3. They advertised a parking lot, but it only fits about ten cars, has no boom gate, can't be reserved, and isn't exclusively for the hotel. It just happens to be next to the hotel. I specifically booked this hotel because it had parking, but when we arrived, there was no space. I called beforehand to ask if reservations were needed and was told no. When we couldn't park, they just told us to figure it out ourselves. When I complained to the front desk about the strong renovation smell and asked if we could switch rooms, they offered a refund instead. It was Chinese New Year, we arrived at 7 PM, and they expected us to find another place to stay after checking out and getting a refund? Overall, Nanchang's urban tourism planning seems chaotic, with haphazard parking allowed on roadsides. All in all, there were just too many people during Chinese New Year.

The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The soundproofing was also generally good, but the best part was definitely the amazing view from the balcony! It was absolutely stunning and a real feast for the eyes! Staying within the resort grounds was incredibly convenient, especially since staff helped carry our luggage directly from the cable car to the hotel! The service was truly exceptional! 👍🏻

I went to Fuzhou on a business trip some time ago and chose to stay at Hilton Fuzhou Poly Huazhang. The overall experience was very good and I must share it. • Convenient transportation: The hotel is located in the High-tech Zone of Fuzhou City, in the commercial center, and is only a 6-minute drive from the railway station. It is very convenient for people like me who travel frequently. • Pleasant environment: As soon as I entered the hotel, I was attracted by the 80,000 square meters of outdoor artificial garden landscape. The traditional Chinese architectural design style makes the whole hotel full of elegant charm. Walking in it is comfortable and relaxing. • Intimate service: From the check-in at the front desk, the staff is enthusiastic and professional, quickly handles the formalities, and also introduces the hotel facilities intimately. During the stay, any needs can be responded to in time, which is really worry-free. • Rich dining: The ”Moonlight” buffet restaurant provides a lot of food, high-quality seafood, fresh and delicious, on-site cooking is full of fireworks, and there are various international and local cuisines to meet different tastes. The Cantonese and Gan cuisines in the ”Yugongguan” Chinese restaurant are also quite authentic, and every bite is intoxicating. It is very pleasant to order a cup of coffee in the ”Liuguang” lobby bar and enjoy the outdoor scenery. • Complete facilities: The hotel has a large conference and banquet venue of 4,300 square meters, including conference rooms, banquet halls, boardrooms, and outdoor sunny lawns, which are suitable for both business meetings and social gatherings. In addition, the gym is fully equipped and the swimming pool is clear. It is so comfortable to swim a few laps. Living here, you can work and relax at the same time. This time I stayed at the Fuzhou Poly Huazhang Hilton Hotel, which was impeccable in all aspects. Next time I come to Fuzhou, I will definitely choose this place!

After spending a few days on Mount Lu, we then chose to stay for a night at the Sheraton Jiujiang Ocean Hotel. We'd still like to express our gratitude to He Qi and the male front desk staff who checked us in that day. Their thoughtful arrangements allowed us to get a good night's rest and recover a lot of our energy. The hotel opened in March, so its facilities are very new. Our Lake View Premium King Room featured both a shower and a bathtub, which our child absolutely loved splashing around in. There was also a dedicated work area and a coat rack, making the space well-utilized and very comfortable. The bedding was just right – neither too soft nor too firm – and the fully smart air conditioning and bathroom ensured a high quality of sleep. The breakfast selection was rich and delicious, offering a good blend of Western and Chinese options, and even featured a dedicated kids' section. The breakfast staff were professional and polite; while waiting for our food, we even chatted with the staff member at the noodle station about the weather and local waterfalls. Overall, it was a very relaxing and pleasant experience. This time, we didn't have enough energy to try the swimming pool and gym, but we'll definitely make sure to on our next visit. As expected from an international brand like Sheraton, the quality is guaranteed. Our child was so happy when they learned we'd be staying at the Sheraton after coming down from the mountain that they exclaimed, 'We're home!'

The location of the hotel is very friendly to self-driving tours. It is only ten kilometers away from the highway exit. The hotel is elegantly decorated, giving it the feel of a five-star hotel. The rooms are spacious, well-planned, and separated into dry and wet areas. The bedding was clean and comfortable, and the family of three slept well. Breakfast is on the top floor, with a rich variety of dishes, and they are constantly being added, with sufficient supply, and the beef noodles taste amazing. The front desk service was warm and considerate. Seeing our family of three, they gave us a free breakfast👍🏻

RRollingstoneHampton by Hilton Nanchang Stay Review Overview: I recently stayed at Hampton by Hilton Nanchang and found it to be a pleasant and comfortable experience, offering great value for both business and leisure travelers. Located conveniently in the Honggutan District, the hotel is well-positioned for access to local attractions, shopping centers, and the business hub of the city. The Good: 1. Comfortable Rooms: The rooms were modern, clean, and well-maintained, with all the essentials for a relaxing stay. The bed was very comfortable, and the room featured an ergonomic work desk, which was great for getting some work done. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches like USB ports and plenty of outlets. 2. Facilities & Amenities: The hotel offers a well-equipped fitness center, which I made use of during my stay. It’s not a full gym, but it has enough equipment for a quick workout. The business center and meeting rooms also looked professional and seemed perfect for business guests. Complimentary Wi-Fi was fast and stable throughout my stay. 3. Breakfast: The complimentary breakfast buffet was a highlight, offering a good mix of Western and Chinese dishes. From fresh fruit and pastries to local delicacies like dumplings, there was something for every taste. The breakfast area was clean, and the staff was attentive to refilling items and clearing tables. 4. Service: The staff at Hampton by Hilton Nanchang were friendly and helpful. Though not everyone was fluent in English, they made a genuine effort to assist with all requests. I felt welcomed throughout my stay, and check-in/check-out was a breeze. 5. Location: The hotel’s location in Honggutan District made it convenient for accessing both the business district and local attractions like Tengwang Pavilion and Nanchang’s Star of Ferris Wheel. Taxis and public transportation were easy to access from the hotel, making it convenient to explore the city. The Drawbacks: 1. Room Size: While the rooms were clean and comfortable, they weren’t particularly spacious, especially if you’re staying for a longer period or with family. It was fine for a solo traveler or a couple, but families might feel a bit cramped. 2. Limited Dining Options: While the breakfast was great, the hotel’s on-site dining options beyond breakfast were somewhat limited. There is a small restaurant, but for more varied meal options, you’ll need to explore nearby restaurants or order delivery. 3. Noise: Depending on your room’s location, you might hear some street noise, especially during busy times. It wasn’t overwhelming but could be noticeable for light sleepers. Who It’s Best For:

GGuest UserI think I’m pretty good at finding hotels. All the way out here in the U.S., I actually managed to find this traditional-style guesthouse that you can’t even see from the road 😄. It’s wheat harvest season right now, so the owners had given their staff time off, but because we were coming, one of the owners traveled all the way from Shanghai just to host us. 🌹 Her name is Ms. Peng—she’s a university graduate from 1981 and a professional architectural designer. She designed the entire guesthouse herself. Every corner here is beautiful, and I can’t even take photos fast enough to capture it all.

XXiaoweiWadeNo mountain house is located in the depths of the Taoyuan Valley in Sanbao Village, green mountains for yarn, green water as belt, everywhere showing the beauty of quiet and exquisite.   Open the firewood door, stroll in the green courtyard of two or three thousand square meters, a breath is a natural fresh taste. The lush green bamboo swaying, and the jungle secret of the Wizard of Oz. The breeze hit, watching the pool water rise layer by layer, is suitable for soothing the restless heart, calm down, looking for a piece of elegance. Good luck, I can meet the swans and ducklings in the pool to perch in the water, revealing a happy and free look. If the owner of the mountain house is petting you, please feel it!  The room's large floor-to-ceiling windows and balconies add natural lighting to the room, and also let the distant mountain scenery outside the window take in. Sleeping in the scenery is not a dream. The new Chinese Zen style, with logs, screens, porcelain and other elements as the design language, creates a sense of warmth and leisure, and has an outdoor terrace, which can directly bath in the sun. Imagine such a scene: autumn, afternoon, two people, a few books, the sun on the body, warm and comfortable.   The configuration of the star hotel is not lost at all: Dyson hair dryer, Hansgrohe bathroom, large bathtub. The room is equipped with an intelligent guest control system, which can be operated by voice to create a super textured stay experience.   Breakfast has rice noodles, wontons and other staple foods to choose from, coarse grains, milk, fruit nutrition combination, wake up the good mood of the day.   Its butler service is worthy of praise! Not only does it provide a free pick-up station, but also a rich welcome fruit, a free minibar, and a warm sleep and good night sweet soup. Even a battery car is provided for free for guests to use! Too intimate! ! It is much more convenient to visit Sanbao Village~    My boyfriend praised me that I would choose a homestay too! Said that I would like to live in this homestay in Jingdezhen in the future!

GGuest UserThe scenic area is too big to explore in one day. If you're traveling with kids, I'd recommend splitting it into two days for a more relaxed pace; one day is just too exhausting. We stayed at the Huishi Street Hotel, which is right in the center of the area. Both the ambiance and facilities were excellent, and the breakfast, in particular, was incredibly rich and easily on par with a five-star hotel. Our trip was a bit rushed this time, but we'll definitely be back!

GGuest UserThe Huazhu Wuyuan Yueyuan Wufei B&B is amazing! 👍 The renovation of the old house was meticulously done. A professional designer designed the courtyard, preserving its ancient charm while maintaining elegance and comfort. The rooms are cozy and inviting, ensuring a good night's sleep. The meals are authentic Wuyuan cuisine, and the proprietress's cooking is exceptional, making the specialties incredibly delicious. Breakfast and lunch offer a complete selection of Wuyuan specialties (pocket carp, steamed pork with rice flour, steamed fish with rice flour, Qingming fruit, etc.). The dishes are made with all-natural ingredients, including cucumber, cowpea, green pepper, and river chicken. The whole family devours every meal! You can also cycle along the rippling river, amidst the gently swaying blossoms. In the courtyard, you can play pot-to-pot together, creating a truly immersive experience. The attentive service makes it feel like home! 🥰 The proprietress and her family run the B&B as if it were their own home. Every corner of the old house holds history, every visitor has a story, and every dish the proprietress prepares is filled with warmth. It is better to come here by yourself after seeing and hearing it. Feel the inheritance of this history and the love for life.

XXiang_khushExceeded our expectations. Beautifully designed, exceptional concierge service, excellent amenities and areas to truly enjoy a staycation. Conveniently located in the bustling Sanbao street, eleme deliveries are also available and come right up to the room, the hot tub came with bath salts, mood lighting and really was worth every penny. Standout features: - Luxurious design - Exceptional bed and pillows, best sleep in months - Amazing hot tub - Good quality bath products and toiletries - Very cozy robes - Spacious room Few suggestions that could elevate this experience further: - The tv does not have GiTV it has CRTV so English entertainment is unavailable on the projector unless you mirror your device and use a Chinese streaming app. International apps are not compatible. - Room temp at night is quite warm since air conditioning is switched off during the winters, fans would be a relief - Would’ve loved some chocolate placed on pillows for a honey suite - The service is only in Chinese and restaurant closes at 4:30 pm unless you book a meal in advance - There is no dairy creamer with the coffee only milk available in the restaurant on 1F - Would’ve loved the projector in the hot tub area - Xiao Du only understands Chinese and most room commands need her assistance, inconvenient if someone doesn’t speak the language - Hard to find Didi Cabs to go anywhere but relatively easy to find cabs 2km away. (Very scenic walk or e-scooter) 10/10 recommended

RRobinMowatFamily of 6 with 2 children and a young baby. The resort grows on you. I say resort as it's not a conventional hotel as such. Its designed and styled as a mosaic of accommodation types spread out amongst the large grounds, or Scenic Area, as its markted. This was confusing and after a long journey to reach the 'hotel', we had to first check in at a enormous building which is also the public entrance for day visitors to the resorts attractions. Our taxi from the station (which declined to use the meter, ¥20, dropped us on the main road and not at the entrance. Not great with our excessive luggage. We were then transported on extended golf buggy style vehicles to what was the opposite end of the resort. The accommodation was very comfortable and well designed. The only fault is the long walks to the facilities such as breakfast (in another hotels restaurant). That said, you can call for a buggy pick up. On check in we were informed the large water park was not open until later in the season. Too cold apparently, despite being in the high 20c's. A lit of the resort appears to be in state of construction with empty shells of buildings scattered about. By the end of the 4 nights, we warmed up, literally, to the style of resort, the colourful scenery and facilities, those which were open. It's a bit far put of the centre of Wuyuan, though there is nothing too exciting to see in the city centre.
