More than perfect. From arrival check-in to checkout everything was gorgeous. Others say that it’s cheaper outside but I got 300% service, happiness and quality for what I paid. You’re assisted with a private butler 24/7 and she’ll take care of all your needs in a minute or 2. The main experience ( for me) is that you don’t need to worry about your time. Unlimited entries and nothing to carry along with you while you’re walking and climbing a lot. The room is spotless and easy to reach from any part of the scenic area. Heating systems and smart facilities are among the amazing features of the price. Floor heating system is my first experience in while China. When you wake up next morning, the breakfast is ready for you with plenty of quality varieties buffet style to enjoy. Next year same season, I’ll be visiting this hotel again but this time for 2 nights

Our second stop was Wangxian Valley, and we booked a hotel inside the scenic area. The staff upgraded our room, which was a pleasant surprise. The hotel has beautiful scenery and excellent service. A staff member even helped us carry our luggage to the room, which was quite a trek as the lobby is a bit of a distance and involves climbing stairs – they really work hard! Our room was clean and tidy, and they even provided complimentary fruit and 'fairy fruit'. From the balcony, we could see the cliffside guesthouses in the distance and a big moon. The hotel grounds themselves are stunning, with picturesque views at every turn and unique architecture. We were very satisfied.

The hotel is nice and a comfortable environment. It's location is a bit out of the way, but not too bad. The rooms are a bit small, particularly compared to similarly priced hotels in bigger cities. (e.g. I came from Shanghai and spent a similar price for a room that was easily 50% larger. Given Shanghai prices, it should have been the other way around.) The breakfast was very underwhelming. Poorly cooked ”western” food that only vaguely looked like what it was supposed to be, and tasted nothing like it. Small selection of lukewarm Chinese breakfast items. Tiny bottles of yoghurt. Very watered down juice.

I booked a King-size Lake View room at Shangri-La Nancheng after reading many strong reviews. The hotel itself looks impressive, and check-in was fast and friendly. However, the service consistency was disappointing. At the gym, there was no greeting at all—just a form and pen handed to me in silence. Normally, gym attendants would also tidy up, but the weights were left scattered and not put back. At breakfast, a waitress bumped into me without any apology. When we asked for soy sauce for porridge, it took over 10 minutes, and when we followed up, the waitress asked in return : “What soy sauce?” Overall, the room was clean with a beautiful lake view, and the sunrise and fountain were a nice bonus. The hotel itself is good, but service standards clearly need reflection. It's not a five star standard and it can't match other ShangriLa we stayed at. The management's lack of training to the staff obviously.

My family and I visited Huangling, and I booked a family suite at Shanshuge Meisu on Ctrip well in advance. I also got in touch with the owner early. It's about an hour's drive from the high-speed rail station to the village where the hotel is located. The owner arranged a private car for us for 100 yuan, which was very convenient as we didn't have to find a taxi ourselves, and it was quite a good deal. No worries at all! When we arrived at the village entrance, the owner was already waiting for us. We hopped onto his motorized tricycle. At first, I was a bit scared (as it was my first time riding one) while he navigated a small country road. The owner handled it with ease, especially reversing up steps and making sharp turns. It really made me a little nervous! After getting off, I had to admire the owner's driving skills – truly a master among the common folks [facepalm][facepalm][facepalm]. After checking in and getting to our room, we found it to be very spacious and fully smart-enabled. Lying on the rocking chair, we could even see the cable cars moving in the scenic area [chuckle]. The 'Dragon Seed' suite is particularly well-suited for a family, with two separate bathrooms and two separate vanity areas. It was really convenient for the whole family to have their own space without disturbing each other [happy][happy]. Since we arrived in the evening, the next morning, following the owner's advice, we chartered a car to visit some nearby ancient villages (Shangtan, Longwei, Qingyuan). Around 2 PM, we went to Huangling. The sun-drying autumn harvest during the day and the night view were both beautiful [thumbs up]. The whole day's itinerary was packed. On the third day, the owner arranged another car to take us directly to the high-speed rail station. The driver was also very good and drove steadily. This trip to Huangling was perfect! Especially choosing Shanshuge Meisu and the 'Dragon Seed' family suite. We'll definitely come back next year to see the canola flowers in Huangling and stay at Shanshuge again [happy][happy].

The original hotel name, Jiangyou Hotel, is still on the second-floor wall. Finding the address on Gaode Maps was a hassle, and food delivery drivers couldn't locate it. The soundproofing is absolutely terrible; I could hear every word of the conversation next door! I could even hear their faucet turning on, and the sound of doors closing was very loud. There's no phone in the room to call the front desk, and the door doesn't have a peephole, so you can't see outside...! The air conditioning fan was also quite noisy, making it very hard to sleep! There's a Lavande Hotel just a few steps away; I regret not looking around more... The room was compact, which was reflected in the price. The main advantage is its proximity to Tengwang Pavilion and not far from Exit 3 of Wanshou Palace Metro Station.

Standard hotel room but worth the price considering the location inside the scenic area. View from the room was amazing! Very nice to be able to return to your room in-between walking around and also explore in the evening and morning before the village gets too busy. Plus the price includes entry to the village and the cable car. Servicw was excellent and very smooth check in at the base of the cable car then collection at the top with your luggage being taken care of the whole way. Breakfast was excellent.

I went to Fuzhou on a business trip some time ago and chose to stay at Hilton Fuzhou Poly Huazhang. The overall experience was very good and I must share it. • Convenient transportation: The hotel is located in the High-tech Zone of Fuzhou City, in the commercial center, and is only a 6-minute drive from the railway station. It is very convenient for people like me who travel frequently. • Pleasant environment: As soon as I entered the hotel, I was attracted by the 80,000 square meters of outdoor artificial garden landscape. The traditional Chinese architectural design style makes the whole hotel full of elegant charm. Walking in it is comfortable and relaxing. • Intimate service: From the check-in at the front desk, the staff is enthusiastic and professional, quickly handles the formalities, and also introduces the hotel facilities intimately. During the stay, any needs can be responded to in time, which is really worry-free. • Rich dining: The ”Moonlight” buffet restaurant provides a lot of food, high-quality seafood, fresh and delicious, on-site cooking is full of fireworks, and there are various international and local cuisines to meet different tastes. The Cantonese and Gan cuisines in the ”Yugongguan” Chinese restaurant are also quite authentic, and every bite is intoxicating. It is very pleasant to order a cup of coffee in the ”Liuguang” lobby bar and enjoy the outdoor scenery. • Complete facilities: The hotel has a large conference and banquet venue of 4,300 square meters, including conference rooms, banquet halls, boardrooms, and outdoor sunny lawns, which are suitable for both business meetings and social gatherings. In addition, the gym is fully equipped and the swimming pool is clear. It is so comfortable to swim a few laps. Living here, you can work and relax at the same time. This time I stayed at the Fuzhou Poly Huazhang Hilton Hotel, which was impeccable in all aspects. Next time I come to Fuzhou, I will definitely choose this place!

After spending a few days on Mount Lu, we then chose to stay for a night at the Sheraton Jiujiang Ocean Hotel. We'd still like to express our gratitude to He Qi and the male front desk staff who checked us in that day. Their thoughtful arrangements allowed us to get a good night's rest and recover a lot of our energy. The hotel opened in March, so its facilities are very new. Our Lake View Premium King Room featured both a shower and a bathtub, which our child absolutely loved splashing around in. There was also a dedicated work area and a coat rack, making the space well-utilized and very comfortable. The bedding was just right – neither too soft nor too firm – and the fully smart air conditioning and bathroom ensured a high quality of sleep. The breakfast selection was rich and delicious, offering a good blend of Western and Chinese options, and even featured a dedicated kids' section. The breakfast staff were professional and polite; while waiting for our food, we even chatted with the staff member at the noodle station about the weather and local waterfalls. Overall, it was a very relaxing and pleasant experience. This time, we didn't have enough energy to try the swimming pool and gym, but we'll definitely make sure to on our next visit. As expected from an international brand like Sheraton, the quality is guaranteed. Our child was so happy when they learned we'd be staying at the Sheraton after coming down from the mountain that they exclaimed, 'We're home!'

The location of the hotel is very friendly to self-driving tours. It is only ten kilometers away from the highway exit. The hotel is elegantly decorated, giving it the feel of a five-star hotel. The rooms are spacious, well-planned, and separated into dry and wet areas. The bedding was clean and comfortable, and the family of three slept well. Breakfast is on the top floor, with a rich variety of dishes, and they are constantly being added, with sufficient supply, and the beef noodles taste amazing. The front desk service was warm and considerate. Seeing our family of three, they gave us a free breakfast👍🏻
