ChuntianrannaifenBooked this place for a business trip to Nanjing and was pleasantly surprised. The room was very spacious, with a large bay window offering excellent natural light. The breakfast spread was extensive, and the shredded radish pancake was absolutely delicious! The lounge on the first floor was also very convenient for business meetings. My foreign colleague traveling with me also spoke highly of it. If I return to Nanjing, I would certainly choose to stay here again.

Guest UserJust checked out and couldn't wait to write a rave review! This hostel completely exceeded my expectations. The location is superb, just a short walk to the subway, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. The common areas are huge and beautifully decorated. Chatting with fellow travelers from all over the world creates such a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. The beds are clean and cozy, and once you pull the curtain, you have your own private little world, complete with charging ports and a small night light – absolutely perfect in terms of detail. The front desk staff and volunteers are all super enthusiastic, patiently recommending authentic local food and travel routes, which saved me a lot of hassle on my trip. The biggest surprise was the rooftop terrace; enjoying the night view with a breeze in the evening was incredibly pleasant, and you can even catch the sunrise in the morning. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit and highly recommend it to all backpackers!

Five-Day Stay in Nanjing
Check-in Experience
We arrived early at around 6 AM due to the difficulty of booking train tickets during the holiday season. Although check-in was at 3 PM, the staff kindly accommodated us with an early check-in for an additional fee.
Accommodation
We stayed in two types of rooms during our visit:
Single Room - Spacious and located in a peaceful, quiet area of the property.
RV Room - Situated near the camping area where families and friends gather around a large bonfire for singing, BBQ, and games.
**Ratings**
Staff: 8/10 - Friendly and accommodating throughout our stay.
Shuttle Service: 10/10 - The driver was exceptionally pleasant and always smiling. Since my daughter has asthma and walking long distances is difficult for her, we frequently requested shuttle service between locations. This was especially helpful as ride-share drivers typically drop off at the entrance, which is quite a walk from the rooms and facilities.
Breakfast: 10/10 - Excellent variety of traditional Chinese dishes. They were accommodating when my husband requested takeout.
Cleanliness: 10/10 - Both rooms were clean, including the beds, towels, and bathrooms. As my daughter’s asthma is triggered by dust, I was pleased that the rooms were clean enough that she didn’t experience any sneezing or symptoms. We all slept well for the entire five days.
**Things to Consider**
It’s highly recommended to have your own car, as the property is quite far from the city center.
If you enjoy nature and outdoor activities, this place is ideal. Activities include:
- ATV rides
- Fishing area
- Playground (note: adults are charged rather than children, so it’s more economical for only one adult to enter)
- Small animal area featuring rabbits, ostriches, and llamas (15 RMB entry)
- Train ride (30 RMB)
The coffee shop has a wonderful atmosphere and aesthetic appeal, making it popular for photos. The property itself is spacious and perfect for leisurely walks. There’s also a temple nearby, approximately 20 minutes away by car.
**Challenges We Faced**
My daughter developed a fever and experienced diarrhea during our stay. When I called the front desk for help, the staff member wasn’t very accommodating and suggested my husband go buy medicine. This was difficult for us as foreigners who don’t speak the language well. I felt sad and helpless, especially when we couldn’t get any taxis or cabs to pick us up. We wanted to take her to the hospital, but no cabs were available.
However, the next morning, a staff member spoke with me who was extremely kind and accommodating. They even offered to drive my daughter to the hospital, which I declined because we needed to catch our train and she was feeling better after taking medicine. They drove us to the South Railway Station and thoughtfully gave my daughter bags and drinks. It was a very kind gesture that we truly appreciated.

Choosing Qiyupai Sky Garden Hotel in Suzhou was absolutely the right decision! Its location is a huge plus – it's very close to Shilu subway station, just a few minutes' walk to Shantang Street, and the MIXC World downstairs makes dining and shopping incredibly convenient. Getting to various attractions is also a breeze.
The hotel is on the 7th floor, boasting a unique sky garden with a wonderful ambiance. The Japanese Zen style, along with the stunning view of the ancient city from the terrace, makes for perfect evening photos. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding soft and comfortable, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area with quality amenities. The mini-bar snacks and drinks were complimentary.
The staff provided thoughtful service, and check-in was efficient. Any requests were handled promptly. It's a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle, perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing. It's suitable for couples and friends alike, and I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Suzhou!

Guest UserThe room was clean and had a unique charm. The hostess was lovely and incredibly thoughtful. I've already booked for next year! My trip was a bit rushed this time, so I didn't get to fully appreciate all the creative touches at Zhoushuang Life Inn. I'll save that for next year's visit.

Xiaoji LilyLast May Day, we visited the Club Med in Taicang, and the GOs recommended the newly opened Club Med in Nanjing. This summer, I brought my child here for a weekend (three days, two nights) during the school holidays, and the experience was fantastic, definitely a full five-star rating!
**Accommodation:** The rooms were clean and tidy, and the housekeeping was meticulous. The cleaning staff were very friendly and patient, always refilling our drinking water. The resort grounds are spacious and comfortable, with excellent natural surroundings. You can overlook the lake from the balcony, offering a wide and open view.
**Activities:** There are plenty of facilities for play, both indoors and outdoors. We happened to be here during a heatwave, so we mostly opted for indoor activities. The indoor sports area includes basketball, badminton, table tennis, billiards, and rock climbing, as well as a 'parkour' area (similar to an adventure course) that my child loved, which we visited for two consecutive days. You can also book KTV sessions. When it's hot, you can also sit at the U Bar and play cards, which is very relaxing. Outdoor activities are also abundant. You can cross a bridge to 'Explore Park,' where you can try archery, kayaking, windsurfing, or even the 'flying trapeze.' However, the flying trapeze requires training, and you need to be able to hang from a bar with both hands for at least ten counts. Neither of us had that much grip strength (we could only manage up to five), so we just watched other 'experts' try it. Kayaking was quite nice; the lake water was clear, and there were little ducks swimming around. It's best to go in the late afternoon, around 5-6 pm, to avoid the intense sun for a better experience. My sister and I kayaked together, and circling the large lake wasn't tiring at all. It's suitable for mothers or older children with moderate physical fitness.
**Service:** The butler service was online throughout our stay, with quick responses and smooth communication. Whether it was booking activities or requesting supplies, they responded and handled everything promptly. When we wanted a clothes drying rack for our swimwear on the balcony after swimming, it was provided very quickly, which was incredibly thoughtful and professional. Being peak summer holiday season, the restaurant entrance traffic was also managed efficiently; just stating your room number allowed for quick entry, which was very user-friendly.
Here, you can shed your fatigue and quietly enjoy your holiday. I'm already planning to come back when the weather isn't so scorching (the 'furnace city' reputation is certainly well-deserved).
**Two additional points:** There's an external food delivery pick-up point near the entrance, which is very convenient. I also loved the hotel's lighting fixtures; they were very artistic.
Finally, a big thank you to our butler, KIKI Angel, for the excellent service!

Guest UserI stayed at Suning Galaxy for a business trip, and Freya, my personal butler, was professional, reliable, and incredibly efficient, making everything seamless. Her attention to detail was truly heartwarming. The hotel's location is excellent, with complete amenities, and it's quiet and comfortable to stay in. Jiafeibushimao~miaoLocation📍The hotel is right at the entrance of Shajiabang Scenic Area. It belongs to Huazhu Club with the Huajianting next door. The two share a courtyard. The children's playground of Manxinfu is also in the Huajianting next door. There is another Huazhu Club in the scenic area with a better price.
Service: Smooth check-in, quick response, and children's toiletries and slippers are provided
Facilities: The meal provided by the package is rich in variety. Coffee and bread coupons were given although they were not used. The family package in the package has a separate group purchase of 298, which tastes good. Breakfast is until 10 o'clock on weekends, with many choices and few Western styles.
Let me talk about the points that I don't agree with:
The fruit platter written in the 298 family package in the package was originally prepared to be packed, but the waiter asked if there were only 4 slices of watermelon. Haha, this platter...
If you book a calendar room directly, you can upgrade the room, check out late, give souvenirs, and send bird watching coupons. There are none of them redeemed with group purchases. Bird watching coupons need to be bought by yourself for 50 per person😓

My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Racha Mankha, and I can’t recommend it enough! This hotel is a hidden gem, offering a secluded and quiet retreat that truly embodies peace and relaxation. The ambiance is simply delightful, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
One of the highlights of my stay was the food. I can confidently say that the Thai cuisine here is some of the best I’ve ever had in Nanjing! Each dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented.
Additionally, I indulged in their Thai massage services, and it was an absolute must-try! The skilled therapists provided a rejuvenating experience that left me feeling refreshed and relaxed.
While the area may not have as many tourist attractions as other parts of Nanjing, the tranquility and quality of service at Racha Mankha more than make up for it. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with fantastic food and pampering, this is the place to be!
