This hotel was another pleasant surprise. Right after booking, I received a call from the butler asking about my arrival time and if I needed airport pickup. Since we were driving, they provided parking directions. We arrived late at night, and everyone, from the gate guard to the front desk staff and the team member who showed us to our room, was incredibly welcoming. I asked for only Coke in the mini-fridge and no other drinks, and they executed that perfectly. The room was very spacious, and I loved that the hot spring bath was indoors and separated from the bedroom by a sliding door – that's a brilliant design. The hotel butler was excellent and reminded us about breakfast. Oh, by the way, if you stay here, don't miss breakfast; that bowl of beef noodles was a real delight. If you need to go to a scenic spot, just contact the butler, and they'll do their best to arrange for a hotel car to take you there, which is a great service. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay. Thanks for everything! Welcome Fruit: Very sweet and a good variety. Minibar Drinks: If you run out in the room, just grab a Haibi drink from the restaurant to enjoy. Rose Petals: A whole tub full of romantic ambiance.

This time, I chose to stay at the Marriott Hotel in Luoyang, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. I especially want to commend the staff from all departments. Upon arrival, staff at the entrance helped with our luggage. The concierge and even a little robot delivered items to our room multiple times. The front desk staff were thoughtful and friendly during check-in. Once in the room, we found it to be comfortable, well-designed, and the attention to detail was impressive. The housekeeping staff even left a personalized welcome letter, which was a lovely touch, and all our individual needs were met. It was a truly delightful stay. The dining experience was also excellent, with high-quality food and attentive service. The Executive Lounge was fantastic; the staff were warm and polite, providing meticulous service, and the happy hour offerings were plentiful. Throughout our stay, the service was professional yet warm, with all departments working together seamlessly and responding promptly, making us feel genuinely valued. Whether for sightseeing or relaxation, this is an excellent choice. I wholeheartedly recommend it and will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Luoyang. I stayed at the May Fourth Youth Hostel for two nights, and my overall experience was very satisfying. It's located in the Xigong district, making it very convenient for getting around by taxi or bus. It saved me time getting to Longmen Grottoes and Yingtianmen. The hostel was clean, hot water supply was stable, and the bunk beds offered good privacy. The common areas were spacious. The staff were friendly, and for a solo traveler visiting Luoyang, it offered great value for money. After a tiring day of travel, I could get a good rest here. Highly recommended for backpackers.

The owner and the cleaning staff were really nice. There were complimentary water and drinks, and the hairdryer was excellent! The room was lovely, and the location was very convenient. It was also quiet at night, which was great for sleeping. The only downside was a persistent bad smell in the bathroom. The owner explained it was a backflow smell after the rain and kindly moved us to a better room. However, even in the new room, the smell lingered for two days despite no rain. The air purifier in the room didn't seem to help much. I'd suggest the owner look into optimizing the drainage system. Additionally, there wasn't enough storage space for luggage, which was a bit inconvenient for long-term travelers like us.

We had a great stay at Yinxiang 37 Homestay during our visit to Yuntai Mountain. The location was very convenient (100m away) for exploring the Yuntai Mountain, making it a great location for anyone wanting to visit the park. The homestay is run by a local family who were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.The room was clean, tidy and spacious, which made our stay very comfortable. They helped by walking with us and helping us get tickets to Yuntai Mountain Park and also gave us bottled water, which made the whole process much easier. They also helped us with laundry and were always happy to assist with anything we needed. Breakfast was simple and tasty. Overall, we highly recommend Yinxiang 37 Homestay for anyone visiting Yuntai Mountain who is looking for a comfortable, clean and spacious stay with kind and genuinely helpful hosts.

Everything was amazing, the hotel was beautiful with an amazing view of the mountains. The staff was incredibly helpful and made our stay even better, especially Wang Jing who could speak English and helped us with translation. They even let us use the hot springs and pool after our checkout. The restaurant served delicious food at a very comfortable price. I stayed in a Mongolian type room and it was a great experience, very clean and confortable. I will definitely come back!

It is our first time in China - it was a great stay - owner is very helpful - helped us to organise the tickets to Zen Music Festival, and she showed us the attractions in the area, we enjoyed the food - traditional breakfast, we had traditional hot pot for the dinner - great experience, also she made for us in the evening traditional tea (Pu-erh, and green tea) - unforgettable moments. Thank you very much for the hospitality.

The hotel's location is great, right next to Gulou Night Market, and from the floor-to-ceiling windows in the room, you can see Daxiangguo Temple. It's also not far from Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden, about 2-3 kilometers, and a taxi ride costs less than 10 RMB. The room is exceptionally spacious and very clean, with complete facilities including a smart toilet, Tmall Genie (smart speaker), massage chair, bathtub, and a large projector. The hotel even provides bathtub liners, bubble bath liquid, foot soaking tubs, and heated eye masks. After a tiring day of sightseeing, you can come back to the room, get a massage, take a bath, or soak your feet to relax. During the day, the lobby offers watermelon and small snacks, and in the evening, there are cocktails and late-night supper. The service is very warm and welcoming; whether it's the front desk staff or the cleaning aunties, everyone is always smiling and ready to help. I'm very satisfied with this trip!

The room was great, and the front desk staff even helped upgrade our room type. It was a shame I didn't get admitted to China University of Mining and Technology back in 2019, especially since they had the alumni association sign right at the hotel entrance, haha. From the hotel's rooftop, you can enjoy a beer and the breeze while admiring Mingtang, Tiantang, and Yingtianmen. The breakfast was also plentiful, especially with lots of *huladong* (spicy soup) and beef. I'd definitely stay here again if I have the chance.

Let's start with the positives: This is an older, established hotel. While the facilities show their age, many small details highlight their service philosophy. For example, the 'Whim Card' lists numerous small items they can provide, which is very comprehensive. The TV remote control was disinfected and packaged. The mini-fridge contained local, classic sodas. This shows that their overall service is on point. The room was spacious enough and I didn't notice any major issues with cleanliness. Breakfast was abundant and very good. Now for the negatives: The facilities definitely need an upgrade. The computer still runs on Windows 7, and the software versions are even older. It should just be removed, there's really no need for it to be there. I suggest repairing the bathroom and faucets. The switch for diverting water between the bathtub and the showerhead isn't properly sealed; when you run the bath, the showerhead drips everywhere. The same issue exists with the shower itself. Also, the air conditioning refilled water at night. The gushing sound around 11 PM startled me; I thought there was a leak. It could easily be refilled during the day instead.
