For my trip to Dunhuang, I specifically chose the Shazhou Glamping Camp, and the experience truly exceeded my expectations. I have to praise their service – it's incredibly reliable. Before I even arrived, they sent messages proactively reminding me about the desert's day-night temperature differences, suggesting what to wear, and even provided travel tips based on my itinerary. During check-in and luggage transport, they were always ready to lend a hand. Once settled, they were on call for anything I needed. Whether I wanted hot water in the evening, had questions about camp activities, or needed a car at short notice, their response was always super quick. They were diligent and patient in their work, never just going through the motions. The camp environment is exceptional. You step right out into the vast desert, and the stargazing at night is spectacular. The accommodation itself is clean and comfortable. Overall, my stay was incredibly worry-free and relaxing. For anyone visiting Dunhuang and wanting a desert accommodation experience, I genuinely recommend this place; both the service and the environment are top-notch!

I stayed at the Kaoshan Diving Tent Hotel and it was a truly unique experience. The location is excellent — an oasis of peace right next to the stunning Rainbow Mountains. The atmosphere is incredibly romantic and relaxing, perfect for couples or anyone seeking calm in nature. The tents are comfortable, spacious, and full of character, offering a wonderful glamping feel. The staff are exceptionally kind and welcoming. A special mention goes to John, who went out of his way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. In the evening, the restaurant area is filled with soft piano music that adds to the serene vibe. The only minor downside was the shared bathrooms, which weren’t perfectly clean, especially the showers. Overall, this is a memorable, relaxing stay immersed in nature. Highly recommended for a special experience near Zhangye’s Danxia! ⭐⭐⭐⭐

My experience at the Dunhuang Desert Camping Hotel truly exceeded all my expectations! It perfectly blended the grandeur and wildness of the desert with the comfort and sophistication of camping. Delicious food, stunning scenery, fun activities, and attentive service – everything was top-notch. Whether you're on a romantic getaway, a trip with friends, or a family vacation, you'll find your own joy here and create unforgettable desert memories. When you come to Dunhuang, you absolutely must reserve a night here. Eating a whole roasted lamb in the desert, watching a bonfire party, and stargazing from your tent will undoubtedly become the most cherished moments of your trip! I wholeheartedly recommend it; you won't be disappointed!

We truly had an amazing stay in this hotel. The staff members were amongst the friendliest and most helpful we've ever come across. They were very responsive over the trip app and WeChat, and helped us with everything (including finding a fantastic driver to do day trips, changing our rooms at arrival because we wanted a non-smoking room, etc.). The room was very spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was pretty good! We loved everything, reall;, and would definitely recommend to family and friends (and stay here again ourselves if/when we're back in Zhangye!) ☺️

The room was great and the hotel's location was good, with warm and attentive service. The only downside was that the breakfast selection was very limited and not tasty at all. Perhaps it's due to limited resources here or the taste just didn't suit me.

This hotel has clean, bright rooms, and the bedding is super soft and comfortable. It's really quiet at night, so I slept soundly until morning. The biggest surprise was their pour-over coffee; it was incredibly fragrant and rich. Sitting in the lobby, reading a book, taking photos, and sipping coffee was just perfect. The front desk staff was incredibly attentive and even helped us with recommendations for authentic local snacks. The value for money is absolutely fantastic. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Jiayuguan.

This hotel is located in Lanzhou Old Street, offering a quiet retreat amidst a bustling area. We were upgraded to a quieter room, which really made for a comfortable night's sleep. The facilities are good too; it would be even more convenient if there was a coffee table to place things on. What truly impressed me the most was the hotel's service. All the staff members were warm and friendly, including the cleaning aunties, who provided timely and attentive service. They even thoughtfully prepared a 'cheer-up' kit for us participants of the Lanzhou Marathon, which included various snacks, cooling patches, and band-aids – something I've never encountered before! There was also a special backdrop in the hotel lobby, showing how much effort Lanzhou as a city put into making this event a success. It was truly touching. The hotel is conveniently located less than a 10-minute walk from Matan Metro Station, with plenty of bus routes nearby. I really enjoyed Lanzhou Old Street; it has everything for dining, lodging, and entertainment. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Lanzhou.

I announced that Dunhuang Yunmo Shaxuan is my dream love store! ! No exaggeration, you must come and experience it yourself. From environment to service to meals, meticulous If you can really want to live here for a lifetime 😭 As soon as you enter the door, you are hit by the sense of space design. Advanced dark tone combined with Dunhuang aesthetics  The air is filled with aromas. Really too comfortable, so good to shoot 📸 From fruit plate, afternoon tea, good night sweet soup There are also various hot drinks in the small refrigerator. (I really should be empty...🥹 It's not like staying in a hotel here, it's more like my warm home The bedding is particularly comfortable. I don’t remember who knows when I lie down.. Outdoor can watch terrace movies 🎬 Free road bikes are also available I know what you need to do!

My stay at Orange Crystal this time completely exceeded my expectations, and I absolutely have to give a special shout-out to Tingting at the front desk! As soon as I walked in, Tingting warmly greeted me with a gentle and friendly attitude, with no hint of perfunctoriness. She proactively informed me about breakfast times, elevator locations, and even thoughtfully recommended delicious nearby restaurants and travel routes. Later, when I lost a small item while changing rooms, I bothered Tingting to help me look for it. She patiently assisted me in cross-referencing and retrieving records throughout the whole process, showing incredible responsibility. The room was clean and odor-free, the bedding was soft, and the soundproofing was good, but Tingting's thoughtful and attentive service was the biggest bonus this time. Her professional and warm approach made me feel incredibly at ease while traveling. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely choose it again next time, specifically looking for Tingting at the front desk!

Fantastic! This is hands down the best hotel we stayed at during our Hexi Corridor trip. The service is five-star. The hotel beautifully blends with Dunhuang's frontier architectural style. Upon check-in, we received complimentary double portions of yogurt, a camel-themed souvenir, breakfast, coffee vouchers, and a free pickup/drop-off service. The breakfast was plentiful and served at the Stargazer Western Restaurant on the 3rd floor. We enjoyed the meal while admiring the Mingsha Mountain view. The spread was extensive, featuring freshly pulled beef noodles, special scallion pancakes, and incredibly delicious apricots, among other things. For dinner, we tried the Fengguo Ancestral Temple Restaurant on the first floor, which offers both stir-fries and hotpot. I personally found the all-you-can-eat hotpot for 68 yuan per person to be incredibly good value. The restaurant is quite spacious and genuinely located within a traditional courtyard. It was truly an immersive and fulfilling stay.
