"The hotel is close to train station, but need to walk for around 20 mins to city centre, we think it’s totally fine especially when the weather is good, and the staff recommended us to walk along the river side which is a good idea. The room is very clean, tidy and modern. There is free water, tea and coffee in a pantry near the reception but the reception and pantry will be closed at 11pm everyday. Last but not least, I would like to thanks the staff (a middle age lady) who recommended us a very decent restaurant nearby to conclude our last night in Belgium when we asked for her recommendation. We will definitely choose this hotel again if we visit Ghent again in the future."

"Generally good location as it is right next to the train station (less than 5 minutes walk) and a 20 to 30 minutes walk from the hotel to the tourist spots in the city central (might be a bit of a walk for the elderly). Pretty average room with just a towel but you cant' complain for the price.
The only issue I had was what was mentioned by other visitors, the windows cannot be opened and you are not able to adjust the aircon settings. You will have to talk to the front counter to adjust your room temperature. However, even after adjusting aircon, the room was still stuffy."

"Sint Niklaas was going thru a process of major road and town works. Confusing one-way systems at play gave me a flat tyre reversing back around the right way and hitting a bunch of stones popping out the ground near the kerb.
I think it would be nice to return once the town face-lift is complete... 🤔
Ibis, I thought you'd be better than that. €20 deposit for a kettle and no milk, coffee, tea, or sugar in your room on arrival.. 😒
The ladies working there were lovely enough to give my gf & I a smile 🥰 they know where to park and at what times to pay the machines at the car parks 🤓
Cheap and fairly cheerful but also stressful to load and unload. 🤕"

Need to be careful when driving into that expo , ikea and the hotel zone as they located along with each others and shared the same directory board which the indicator bit small you might miss the hotel car park entrance

HuanqiuyuzhoulvxingjiaThis hotel was the most impressive one on my trip through the Netherlands, Germany, France, Luxembourg, and Belgium. It's located right in the heart of Ghent's scenic riverfront, a World Heritage site, one of Europe's top ten design hotels, and on the list of the world's top 100 hotels! Staying here, it truly lives up to its reputation. It's incredibly well-designed, opulent, a genuine antique with a strong sense of culture and history. The classic Baroque style is evident, and the furniture and decor are all traditional European. It exudes the luxurious feel of an ancient European palace! The breakfast was also excellent, especially the breakfast restaurant, which has fantastic views!

Guest UserThe boss didn't understand English, it was difficult to communicate, and he charged arbitrarily. He changed my double room to a double bed. The location is next to the tram, there is a tram at about 5:00 in the morning, it is very noisy, I can’t sleep

ShufuyouThis hotel, a former military barracks in Ghent, champions eco-friendliness and creativity! Just look at that bowl of wontons—can you believe this was made in a hotel restaurant in a medieval city in Belgium? Even Lao Gan Ma chili crisp is available at the front desk shop!
I particularly love the color scheme here: the blue feels so luxurious, and the pink is wonderfully vibrant!
The breakfast is plentiful with lots of options. I recommend booking a room with breakfast included; watching the people in the breakfast room feels like being back in college—it's a whole room full of young people, truly a hotel designed for a younger crowd.

AntravelerThe hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the train station. The lobby is on the smaller side, but it has a cozy, homey feel, like a family living room. The staff were all very warm and friendly, even helping to heat up food. It's a bit of a distance from the main tourist attractions, but there are plenty of tram options nearby. There are also lots of convenient and tasty restaurants and cafes in the area!

Nice hotel, in the center on the edge but still easy to reach, parking Friday market just a stone's throw away.
Very spacious room, large bed, mini bar, coffee facility, bathroom with bath and shower, beautiful view of the water.
Friendly staff at reception, less so at breakfast.
Nice breakfast room on the 3rd floor with a view over Ghent and the water.
Breakfast buffet good but not luxurious.
This hotel is definitely recommended!

HHHorizonExcellent! The decor is stylish, and it's clean and quiet. Although it's not in the city center, public transport is very convenient. Finding a queen-size bed in a standard room in Europe is a huge bonus, needless to say. The long-haired, black-haired female receptionist was very enthusiastic. The only minor downside was the tissue box, which only had about five sheets – I wonder if they forgot to replace it.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was very clean, well-organized, and extremely comfortable. I was impressed by the attention to detail and the overall freshness of the space. The location is excellent—convenient, accessible, and close to everything I needed, which made getting around the city very easy. The front desk staff were also incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful, making the entire stay even more pleasant. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

This hotel has nothing but the front desk. The room is not on the same floor as the front desk. In addition to the excellent location, there is no other recommended price is too low. I don't know how this is listed. Four stars.

Guest UserThe hotel is situated in a beautiful location in the historic center of Ghent. We had a spacious room, which was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately, the shower lacked pressure, resulting in a weak stream.
The breakfast was fine, although the breakfast room is not very spacious.
The hotel bar was not busy, making it less inviting.
We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel; it is a great starting point for a weekend in Ghent.
