Wonderful stay at Ascott Waterplace Surabaya – highly recommend! We had a fantastic stay at Ascott Waterplace Surabaya and couldn’t have asked for more. Location is unbeatable. Right on the waterfront with easy access to Pakuwon Mall and plenty of restaurants nearby. Everything felt convenient, and the view from the apartment was stunning, especially at night. The apartment was spotless and very clean throughout our stay. Housekeeping was thorough, and the space felt fresh, comfortable, and well-maintained from day one. A huge thank you to the staff for making it extra special. We mentioned it was my little girl’s birthday, and they went out of their way to prepare a lovely surprise for her. It was such a thoughtful touch that made her day and ours. The team was consistently helpful, friendly, and quick to assist with anything we needed. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-located place in Surabaya with staff who genuinely care, Ascott Waterplace is it. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you, Oakwood! The room was spacious and comfortable, with excellent facilities, perfect for our 11-day stay in downtown Surabaya. The parking area was convenient and ample. The service was outstanding, friendly, and very satisfying. And the sunset views were always captivating!

Hot/cold water dispenser in the apartment 👍🏻 6. Lamp plug wire was exposed 7. Cupboards/shelves were cracked/broken 8. Stained- scissors, towel, stool, sink, bathroom tiles 9. Trail of ants found in the bathroom but service staff came promptly to clean it 10. Kitchen area has a musty smell - maybe due to poor ventilation 11. Bathroom door handle cover was loose 12. Water flow was slow

The hotel is clean. But the bathroom door is a bit broken. Hard to open. The receptionist is friendly but did not stay 24 hours.

1. The bathroom wasn't ready for use; some of the tiles were loose, making it look dirty, including the bathroom floor. 2. When we turned on the faucet, a strong odor came from the drain or water pipe. 3. The blanket was too small, only suitable for one person. 4. The balcony door was difficult to push open; a sliding door would have been recommended to make the small balcony usable, even though it housed the AC unit. Otherwise, the room was good, and the location is highly recommended.

The location is quite good, in the East Surabaya area, as it's right above Pakuwon City Mall. This makes it convenient to find food (cafes, restaurants, etc.) or any necessities (pharmacies, supermarkets, etc.). If you don't have your own vehicle, using Grab Car is still quite affordable. The unit size is good, cleanliness is good, service is good, and facilities are quite good. Complimentary bottled mineral water is also provided. Yesterday, I booked two rooms, but they ended up being on two different floors. The slightly inconvenient part was that to meet up between rooms, we had to go down to the lobby because the access cards only work for the registered floor (only one card per room is provided). Next time, if I come again, I hope to get units on the same floor. Just as input, sending a WhatsApp message to the rental unit's customer care always showed a single checkmark for a long time (15-20 minutes) before showing two checkmarks, even though it was already within working hours (10:00 AM - 10:00 PM). I don't know what the issue was, but perhaps it could be improved in the future. A note for fellow travelers: regarding room cleanliness during your stay, don't forget to dispose of the trash in the unit (self-service), as trash bags are provided. Overall, everything was quite good.

We really enjoyed our stay at Skysuite. The staff is so kind and helpful. As for the residence, I would say it’s the most worthwhile in Surabaya.

During my two-day stay at the Verwood Hotel, I noticed significant improvements. The security guards at the entrance are now friendly, and the bellboys and reception staff are also very welcoming and helpful. However, the laundry service from their partner company still needs improvement. Daily towel replacements consistently arrive late, sometimes even after sunset prayers, which makes it difficult for us to take an evening shower. This is definitely something that needs to be addressed. Regards.

The apartment is small and worn out. The glass at the kitchen wall cracks. The toilet is dirty too. Needs to renovate and do some painting. The balcony is too small and dirty. The location is very good though as it is connected to the supermall pakuwon.
