Great, hassle-free stay near the airport! I had a wonderful experience staying at Smartments. The self check-in and check-out process was incredibly smooth and easy, which is exactly what you want when traveling. The location is perfect—right next to the airport with a convenient shuttle bus stop just a short walk away. As a huge bonus, there was a Korean food truck parked right outside the hotel, which was easily my favorite part of the stay! Definitely recommend if you're looking for a seamless, convenient place to stay near the airport.

The room is great, next to the university, with a youthful and petty-bourgeois vibe. It's usually relatively cheap. The service staff is very enthusiastic and proactively asks if there's anything they can help with. They are also very considerate and patient in explaining issues such as invoicing.

Unfortunately there was no shampoo or shower gel in the room, otherwise really super for the money. Grade if you want to spend the night before the flight to Frankfurt.

The front desk staff were friendly, and the hotel isn't too far from the airport. However, the shuttle service between the airport and the hotel, which was mentioned in some previous reviews, is no longer available. A taxi from the airport to the hotel after 10 PM cost about 8 euros. For an early morning flight before 6 AM, a taxi to the airport was around 22 euros. Hope this helps with your planning!

Wanted to stay at that property once it was Lindner Hotels under JDV by Hyatt, still it did not fail to convince with astonishingly friendly service with arrival coffee and full spa experience pre check in, as unfortunately early check in was not possible! the rooms are equipped with kitchenettes and the upscale suite was a truely unique apartment with high end amenities and a first class view, once arriving back in Frankfurt main the stay to be! Thank you at main Plaza Suites for an amazing stay!

The location is very good. There are many restaurants nearby. It is a 5-minute walk from the subway station. The laundry room is very convenient downstairs. There are also app appointment services and reminders!

Very nice hotel in a good location. The reception was super friendly and patient and offered us many help. It was a bit confusing at first since you need to enter the building from one of the three doors and get to the reception on 4th floor, but after that everything was good. The room was clean and tidy with no oddor, a bit small to open two large suitcases, but not a big problem. The air conditioner kept the room warm and cosy. Our room was at 8th floor with nice city view (in the photo), there were occasional sirens outside the window but in general pretty quiet from both nearby and inside. The TV allowed screen mirroring, and there was a very nice speaker above it. We didn't use the stove but the large fridge and microwave were quite useful. There were laundry machines and dryers next to a small gym. It took about 15 minutes to the main train station, can travel by either underground or tram which was convenient. There were many good restaurants and supermarkets around, and it was close to most of the attractions.

Visited in mid-May. Check-in was excellent. I agree with previous reviews. Cons: - No kettle (had to boil water in a pot) - Hairdryer was very weak - Not even a pinch of salt to cook with - There's a hospital behind the hotel, and with the windows open, you can hear ambulances quite frequently, 24/7. - No air conditioning (it was already warm during our stay, but I imagine it gets very hot in the summer) Pros: - Everything is accessible via the app, where you can also pay for services and early check-in. - Excellent location; we walked to the city center by the river in 35-40 minutes. - Great park nearby, a 10-minute walk. - REWE supermarket a 5-minute walk, and two others a bit further, 10 minutes. - Tap water is drinkable. - Asked the cleaner for an iron, and he provided it without any issues.

I heard rumors that the security around the station is not good. While thinking about the choices, I booked this place in anticipation that it would feel neat and simple like a Korean motel. But it was different from what I expected. The bathroom floor was warm like an ondol, so I felt good. In addition, there was a kitchen with microwaves, electric kettles, coffee machines, inductions and various tableware, and two quilts were provided for the bedding. The front desk staff was so friendly and spoke English well. The hotel key was also convenient because it was not an analog method like a key, but an app. The hostel was close to the river, so it was good to take a walk, and there were many delicious restaurants and large marts around. And I was happy to leave my luggage after checking out. My only mistake was that I only booked this place for one night. I will definitely visit here again if I visit Frankfurt next time.
