As the name suggests, it is located south of Osaka Castle, and the nearest station is Morinomiya Station and further south of Morinomiya Park. Although it is an ordinary park, a stone sign of "Kitakokubuncho Historic Site" was built on the premises. As I looked it up later, around 1615 in the early Edo period, this place was said to be Kokufu Town in Settsu, but it has changed now.
