Zhangjiajie was originally called Yongshi. It is famous for its vast and beautiful Wulingyuan Scenic Area, a World Heritage Site. Wulingyuan includes the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve, Suoxi Valley Nature Reserve and Yangjiajie Scenic Area. Full of primordial forests, along with strange and magnificent natural landscape, the wondrous landscapes here were one of the inspirations behind the scenery in the 2009 film "Avatar". Other than seeing and enjoying the enchanting natural landscape, Zhangjiajie's Grand Canyon and Glass Bridge are popular places to visit. If you are interested, you can walk across the 430-meter-long glass bridge suspended 260 meters above the valley floor. It's a challenge that will make your heart skip a beat.

Is there anyone who haven’t heard about Zhangjiajie Avatar mountains? I suppose not 😁 one the most famous and popular destinations in China.
Our trip started in Changsha where we stayed for half a day. Then by train we departed to Zhangjiajie. Railway station is not very far away from the scenery area, but we waited for taxi for quite some time as arrived late in the evening.
The mountains don’t need to be described too much. Amazing. It’s better to see once than hear a hundred times. So just go see it with your own eyes 😁
As expected, many people, but didn’t affect overall experience. Absolutely recommend to visit.
P.S. If you go to Zhangjiajie, there’s one more famous destination - Fenghuang village, not far away(about 1 hour by train) and a great place to go 👍#2023travelwish #mytripvlog #awesomepic #bucketlistreboot #zhangjiajie
