JR Haruka Kansai Airport Express

The JR Haruka Kansai Airport Express is a convenient and comfortable express train providing direct service between Kansai Airport and major Kansai cities such as Tennoji and Shin-Osaka.

Departing from Kansai Airport Station, it takes approximately 35 minutes to reach Tennoji, about 50 minutes to Shin-Osaka, and around 80 minutes to Kyoto, offering exceptionally convenient transportation services.

[Scope of application]

Ticket purchase qualifications

• This product is only available to non-Japanese passport holders with a "short-term stay" visa. It is not available to non-Japanese passport holders with permanent residency in Japan.
• One adult ticket holder can bring up to 2 children (0-5 years old) for free, but the children cannot occupy a separate seat. From the third child onwards, each additional child must purchase a child ticket.

• [HARUKA Ticket] Only for boardingHARUKA Limited Express Train, and cannot take other express trains.
• Within the above usage range, you can ride trains other than the Limited Express HARUKA (new rapid, rapid, and local trains).
• If you take a train other than the Limited Express HARUKA, the Limited Express HARUKA non-reserved seat limited express ticket will not be refunded. Please note.
• You can get off at any station within the valid range, but since it is not a free pass, your ticket will be collected at the ticket gate.
• You can also take out-of-range trains, but you will need to pay an additional fee.
• If you want to take a reserved seat or first class car (car No. 1) on the Limited Express Haruka, you needPay related fees.
• When boarding a vehicle or train that requires a boarding ticket or a numbered train ticket,Pay extra fee.
• The reserved seat ticket can be exchanged once. When making a reservation at the green machine or green window, the reserved seat needs to be exchanged separately.
• If the reserved seats are used up or you have not exchanged your reserved seat tickets in advance, you can use your ticket to board the unreserved seats directly.

Please present the received confirmation slip and the non-Japanese passport of the booker at designated stations' ticket vending machines (green machines) or counters (green window counters) to exchange for a physical ticket.

At Kansai Airport, exchange is available at the staffed counters. After successful exchange, use the physical ticket directly at the automatic ticket gates.

1. After the booking is successful, the platform will automatically send a booking success email to the email address reserved by the booking guest.

2. Please present the received verification code or QR code and the non-Japanese passport of the person making the reservation, and exchange it for the physical ticket at the designated station ticket machine.

※If the ticket machine is out of order or your passport does not have an IC chip, please go to the designated station green window to exchange for a physical ticket.

3. The physical ticket is successfully exchanged.

4. Collecting designated seat coupons: Please bring your physical ticket to the green ticket machine to exchange for designated seat coupons before use.

※ If you want to take a reserved seat after exchanging your ticket at the green machine, you need to make a reserved seat reservation at the green machine again.
