Address - Heart of Osaka at 3-2-4 Nakanoshima, Kita-Ku. The hote is conveniently situated near public transportation, making it easy to explore the city’s top attractions. Ambiance/Facilities - The ambiance of Conrad is modern and luxurious, with stunning views of the city skyline. The hotel’s facilities are top-notch, including a fitness center, indoor pool and spa. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, with modern amenities very very nice! Highlights - highlight was definitely the incredible views from my room. I could see the entire city from my window, which was a real treat! Also, their restaurant are very good worth to give a try! Avg. Price per Person - RM2k/ night, I’m staying during cherry blossom season, so the price might be more expensive Rating - Overall, I would give Conrad Osaka a 4.5/5. The hotel’s location, facilities, and ambiance are all excellent, and the stunning views are truly unforgettable. My second home - Osaka, Japan
My family and I recently went on a 8D7N trip to Osaka, Japan and we stayed at Hotel Gracery Osaka Namba which was located near Jr Namba. We travelled using the OCAT bus from Kansai International Airport to our hotel as the hotel is located just right beside the Bus Terminal. The hotel is within walking distance to the subway and the massive underpass will also bring you to the iconic Dotonbori. During the stay at Osaka, we also travelled to Koyasan, Ama-no-Hishidate, Ine, Miyamachokita. The views were absolutely mesmerising. Food there was definitely a bomb! I think my waist just grew by a few inches in that trip. 🥲 P.s. Can I also mention the affordable price of Kura Sushi?! It’s so cheap compared to any sushi outlet in Singapore! 20 plates of sushi, ramen, etc. only cost me S$29! 😇 #myperfectstaycation #tripblazers #osaka #japan

Kema Sakuranomiya park in spring
Getting here: take train from Osaka to Sakuranomiya station Kema Sakuranomiya Park is one of the best to visit for cherry blossoms. And it is FREE! The cherry blossoms line the river so if you wish to walk both sides, it will probably take 1-2 hours. We saw many locals having picnic too! The cherry blossom trees here arent as high though some trees are pretty dense so do angle your shots properly! #japan #osaka

Hotel Nikko Kansai Airport Highlights - connected to Kansai airport Avg. Price per Person - 75++ Rating - 4/5 We had a 11am flight to catch hence opt to stay a night at the premium economy room so we didnt need to rush. Hotel Nikko is directly linked to Kansai airport so really very convenient for those with early flight to catch or reach Osaka late at night. The room is not the most spacious but it is very clean and there is still room for 2 luggages. Bed was also comfortable and we slept well. We got sea view room and the sunset view was awesome. Also it is 1 stop away from Rinko premium outlets so shopping is convenient. No regrets! #japan #osaka #muststay

I think many people know this place and have seen reviews from many people. I got it myself and felt that there are many things to eat here. I lost a lot of money on this market with amazing things. I came here in the morning, which was a good morning meal. Because there are a variety of food types, whether it is seafood, grilled meat, King crap, dessert. This time I came to try the puffer. Its taste will be small, but not fishy at all, it is a very fresh fish market. cherry blossom picnics
Location: Osaka Expo 70 Commemorative Park Do drop by here if you are chasing cherry blossom in Osaka. We reached at 10am and there wasnt much crowd. There are countless cherry blossom trees here and the park also has other flower such as tulips. We did what japanese does which is to picnic! No worries about preparing your own food as thrre is a 7-11 right where you alight at the station. Entrance fee applies but it isnt expensive. There is also a big mall right beside the station. So drop by for food and shopping! #cherryblossom #osaka #japan

fantastic Intercontinental Osaka
Spent 4 nights at Intercontinental Osaka at their premium king room with city view. Room is very spacious. Love every part of the room. Only issue we had was the pillows were way too soft. Though this was solved by memory foam pillows. Reception speaks good english so no issues with communication. This is within sheltered walking distance to Osaka station so very very convenient. Would absolutley stay here again if i visit Osaka again #muststay #osaka #japan

Address - Osaka Dotonbori / Osaka-Namba station Ambiance/Facilities - it’s a street full of restaurants, street food and shops. Highlights - The Glica ad sign is very famous and the takoyaki is the most popular food there. Avg. Price per Person - walking around is free, meals are around ¥1,000 per person or less if it’s a snack. For a full meal it might be around ¥1,500 or ¥2,000. Elegant stay: The New Otani, Osaka
#staycation On my most recent trip to Osaka, Japan, I got to spend 2 nights at the highly-acclaimed New Otani. The New Otani has been in the local hotel industry for a while, and is well known among travellers. This hotel offers great views of the Osaka Castle too. I opted for the Deluxe Double Room with a view of the Osaka city skyline, which was quite nice at night. The room was adequately sized at 30sqm, and came with an ensuite bathroom. I personally am not a huge fan of combined bathtub/showers, but for the short stay, no complaints. The room was well-appointed, clean, and had generous amenities. Fun fact: including the lounge and bar, there are 15 food and beverage options - a huge variety, so be spoilt for choice. I recommend Mikan for a romantic dinner and drinks, or Fujio for good sukiyaki. P.S. do note that staying guests also have to pay ¥5000 to use the pool, while guests with visible tattoos are not permitted to use it or the gym (I am heavilly tattooed, but I didn't mind. A popular tourist attraction in Osaka, this castle museum houses many artefacts original to the place as well as some other educational material to illustrate this castle’s significant history. We had to queue a long time to even enter the castle but at least the weather was cool. Also, remember to dress comfortably as there are many winding steps to climb or else queue forever to take the lift. Immerse in historical art heritage
This castle museum has been preserved quite well and it was very educational to learn about the different rooms and how the people then used these spaces. One of the rooms was a weapon room and we could see the indents of various weapons that it used to hold. Another room was a tiny escape port in the case the castle was besieged. A hidden autumn paradise near Osaka / Kyoto
A beautiful autumn escape from the nearby cities of Osaka, Kyoto or Nara, the Hoshi no Buranko bridge in Hoshida Park is well worth the trip. Hoshida Park is a prefecture level forest park in the Ikoma mountains. In autumn, the leaves are transformed into stunning red, orange and yellow shades, with the hillside almost on fire with colour. The walk itself starts at Kisaichi station, from where it's around a two hour round-trip to the Hoshi no Buranko bridge. Although the bridge itself is the main attraction, it's the peaceful walk through the forest which made the trip for me. #autumnleaves #fallingforfall #kyoto #osaka #nara #hikingtrails #japan

Don’t miss out this cable car and train ride when you are on your way to Hakone. It is also included in your Hakone Free Pass which is a transportation card. You can read more about it in my previous trip moments. You will get awesome views from all around you as you take their cable cars, trains and trams. I will suggest you to go to the first train carriage, right behind the train driver and you can get a better view. If not, try to get a window seat. As you ascend the mountain, you will be passing through the forest and you can get a close up view of the trees. If you are lucky, Mt Fuji will also appear as long he is not covered by the clouds. The best place for shopping and also the best place for awesome views. The best spot to catch these awesome views will be over the connecting bridge and you can find the viewing point spot marked out nicely for you. Believe me when I say you can see awesome autumn views and winter views. Yes and this including Mt Fuji. It is such an incredible views and end December onwards is the best time to catch Mt Fuji views. The connecting bridge area also have many trees below and also best place to catch the autumn foliage. Konnichawa and welcome to the city of deer in Japan. You have to read this for some life-saving tips. The deer will come towards you as long you have food with you or you have deer crackers with you. They will nibble at your clothes and even push you. So if you ar afraid, then don’t carry any food with you. I wear a raincoat over my clothes and after spending time with them, my raincoat got many holes. You can use the deer crackers and redirect the deers to move to a nicer spot to take photos. There are many greenery in Nara parks and you can take the deer with the autumn backdrop as well. The deer will also bow as you before eating your cracker. 🇯🇵 Todai-Ji Temple
A lovely temple to visit and the views there are amazing. In the temple, they also have a tree hole for you to pass through. It is supposed to be the nostrils of the Buddha and if you can pass through then you will be able to seek enlightenment in your next life. This tree hole is pretty small and children can pass through easily. If you do a search, Todai-Ji temple will appear among the top hits for awesome views in Nara. Many years back, I would bring along my camera. Time fast forward and my phone camera can take nicer photos too. Bring whatever is suitable for you and make sure you have enough memories to capture everything at Todai-Ji temple. Let you into a secret route. Take the Tokyo cruise from Asakusa and alight at Hamarikyu Gardens. Then take the seat all the way to the side and you will enjoy all the major landmarks in Tokyo on a boatride. I am not a Japan travel expert but I can give you all the tips and tricks. I have not completed the Eastern side of Japan and it got cancelled during the pandemic year. I was about to fly off for my usual sakura season. Anyway, just come to Hamarikyu Gardens and be greeted with golden flowers everywhere. Enjoy the lovely views along Sumida river. Osaka Castle
Osaka castle is one of Japan's most famous landmarks, built-in 1583. The castle is situated on a plot of land, surrounded by the citadel, gates, turrets, and stone walls. The design of this castle is very impressive, it's a pretty building, famous for its well built stone wall. The castle has eight stories of museums and exhibitions inside the building and five stories outside. One of the main key highlights is the history of Toyotomi Hideyoshi, the Samurai Warlord who built the Osaka Castle. From the castle, I can see the surrounding of the castle, the beautiful park, and the city view of highrise buildings of Osaka City. Open from 9 am to 55 pm with an admission fee. #passionpassport Dotombori is a symbol of the Minami Area and a mecca for the kuidaore food culture of Osaka. Dozens of restaurants line the Dotomborigawa River, and large famous billboards draw diners'attention. On the north side of the river, where geisha used to entertain their customers, are now small bars and restaurants squeezed together in rows. The southern side of the river is the center of the Dotombori area, which was once known as the theater district. Nowadays, colorful neon signs and flash signboards enliven the area, showing that the district still represents the passion of Osakans.
