Signal coverage

• Signal Coverage: Japan

• Carriers: Softbank, docomo, Rakuten Mobile

1. Coverage is available nationwide. Signals are weaker in suburban and mountainous areas. Signal quality may vary depending on location, terrain, building obstruction, and weather conditions.

2. Because each carrier has its own blind spots, network quality may not always be 4G (LTE) or 5G. This service may vary depending on current signal strength and your phone's reception.

3. This product uses an international roaming IP address. Some apps may not work due to your IP address (e.g., TikTok, Douyin, ChatGPT, Alipay, AutoNavi Maps, Meituan, mini-programs, etc.).

Important note

FAQ:

1. Why isn't there a path to "Add a Cellular Number," "Join a Mobile Plan," or "Join a Mobile Service Plan"?

A: Please confirm whether your phone/device supports the eSIM function.

How to check: Dial *#06# on the phone interface. If there is an EID, it means eSIM is supported. If there is no EID, eSIM cannot be used.

***Not compatible with watches and tablets***

2. Why can't I add an eSIM?

If the phone is card-locked, it cannot be used.

How to check: Check with your carrier to see if your device is SIM-locked.

Please check if there is a description file for iPhone

If there is a description file, please delete it (check steps: Settings -> General -> Device Management, scroll to the bottom, if there is no description file, it is normal) to avoid problems with smooth use.

3. How is the eSIM option timed?

A: After arriving at the destination, the eSIM option will generate traffic, which means the eSIM is activated and the time starts to be calculated based on the natural day of the UTC+8 zone.

Please install and activate the eSIM app after arriving at your destination and connecting to the internet. Installing the app in a country other than your destination will cause the eSIM to become inactive or pre-calculate usage time.

4. What should I do if I still don’t have network connection after arriving at my destination and turning on my eSIM?

A: Please make sure that data roaming of the eSIM is turned on and check if the APN of the eSIM is correct.

5.Can a new eSIM be reissued after it is deleted?

A: If the eSIM plan is not fully used or is deleted without the approval of customer service, no reissue or refund will be made.

6.Can an eSIM be installed multiple times? Can I change phones?

A: A QR code can only be scanned once with one mobile phone. Once scanned, it is bound to that mobile phone and cannot be transferred to other phones. After the product is bound, it cannot be reissued or refunded. If there is a prompt to contact the telecom operator or other prompts, please turn off and restart the phone or contact customer service for assistance.

7. How long do I need to use the eSIM after receiving it?

A: It must be activated within 30 days. If it is not activated within 30 days, the eSIM will expire and cannot be reissued.

8. Is it possible to share the hotspot?

A: Hotspot sharing is supported, but due to differences in device models, it cannot be guaranteed that all devices can share normally.

9. How can I contact you if I encounter any problems?

A: LINE customer service: @281nacaf (Our customer service hours are:10:00-22:30)

If you cannot use it at your destination, please contact LINE customer service. We cannot provide after-sales service after you return to China.
