"Great little find. Great communication. Very quiet and clean. Very good value for money. Perfect for our few days sightseeing. A small kitchen for visitor use. We were able to leave our bags on our last day. Don't be put off by location there is a bus stop right outside the apartment building. We recommend the fab little Gelato place 5 min walk away. Loads of restaurants with friendly staff. A supermarket available opposite. Would definitely recommend if you are comfortable using public transport. We used uber a few times when we were short on time."
Set in Rome's Monti, Villa Ermes at the Colosseum is positioned to meet the needs of those traveling for fun or business.
"The villa is beautiful and full of history, with a comfortable mattress, an impressive bar counter, and thoughtful amenities like a hairdryer and refrigerator. The only downside is the lack of a dry-wet separation in the bathroom. Overall, however, the stay was excellent! The hotel's location is great—right next to the subway station, within walking distance of St. Mary's Cathedral, surrounded by convenience stores and delicious restaurants. The host even shared a list of recommended dining spots. They responded promptly to inquiries and were extremely kind and helpful. Highly recommended!"

"Fantastic stay at Villa Aurora rooms whilst I was in Rome.
My room was clean, comfortable, and well-furnished. Fully functional air conditioning (rather than those temperamental units in other places) really was a joy to come back to during the heat of a Rome summer.
But so far, I've just commented on some features of the room, rather than my experience here.
What will endure in my memory as I look back was the warm, classically no-nonsense Italian hospitality I had from Donatella.
Throughout my time here, she made sure I was well looked after with room cleaning, bottled water, towels etc.
But I most appreciate her assistance in terms of local knowledge. Local knowledge such as a good seafood restaurant , ”Trattoria del pesce” just down the road (which happens to also be in the Michelin guide); such as to not miss out on the Baths of Caracalla; and perhaps more trivially, but arguably also essential, where to do my laundry!
Thank you so much for making my stay here such a pleasure Donatella, and for adding both a new Italian word and outlook to my vocabulary - ”tranquilo”."

"Overall great location right next to Vatic City and a stone’s throw away from many bus stops. However the only downside was having to share the coffee station (a small kitchenette with limited facilities) with 3 other rooms which was not obvious when first booked. Check in completed through WhatsApp and was quite quick. No"

GGuest UserNadia was amazing to be in contact with.
The castle is an amazing historical place. High ceilings, well furnished and made us feel we were at home with the details they thought of.
This is a place away from the city, hustle and bustle which is nice to get away from a busy day of sightseeing. So you would need a car. The train station is 3 mins drive, so we did park and ride which conveniently worked out.
The castle also has a pool which we made use of everyday aft the hot days in Rome.
All in all we are very happy with our stay and wish Castello de Luca continued success.

GGuest UserWhen you first arrive at the hostel, the host kindly explains the hostel and Rome (recommend the restaurant)
Very clean and good location
The cafe under the hostel is delicious
DDongyaoNice view over there in the castle like property and beautiful environment for the tranquility in the village. Yet, it took me about two hours to reach there from the train station by walking (late arrival by giving the credit to the silly European airlines operation), and it costs me $35 euros equivalent to get out there to the train station by FREENOW (European Uber). All in all, nice place, bad transportation unless you have a car ready.
AAnonymous UserWe had a very comfortable stay. The location is excellent, only about a 10-minute walk from the Vatican. There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, which made everything very convenient. The room was beautiful, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommended!

AAnonymous UserThe location is very convenient, close to the metro station, with most attractions reachable within 30 minutes.
The facilities are quite basic and show some signs of age, but they cover all essential needs.
Considering the very competitive price, it offers reasonable value for a short solo stay.
