Visitors from Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan must use their respective travel documents for booking and admission. Foreign visitors must use passports for booking and admission. Each ID can only purchase one admission ticket per visiting day. 2. Forbidden City admission tickets go on sale 7 days in advance. We will make every effort to reserve your tickets immediately. If unsuccessful, we will send an SMS or call you the next day to reschedule or refund. A staff member will contact you via phone or SMS before 23:00 the day before your visit to inform you of the specific meeting location.
