Hilton Waikiki Beach Resort & Spa

The hotel is nice for the price of low $223 but they charge $45 per day of activity fees but I never used. The location is about 10 minutes walk from the central Waikiki area but is OK. The breakfast buffet is good and includes in the room package. The only problem is that they only have valet parking for $60 per day. It took them 45 minutes in the morning to get my car down on day 1 and we missed the tour. The other days were 10 to 15 minutes. I guess they don’t have enough parking so they have to double park and triple park. I tried to park at the adjacent Banyan lot but all full after 8pm. There are no other viable option other than valet parking in the hotel.

Good location at the beginning of Waikiki- close enough to everything without being in the midst of touristy chaos.  Amenities decent- nothing too fancy but all the basic amenities covered.  (Pool✅, gym✅, sauna✅- steam room was out of order) missing a jacuzzi & would have liked extended pool hours- but really enjoyed our time there- free excellent first come, first served- cabana options ,and  complimentary ice cakes.  Staff was friendly & helpful- despite an initial awkward check in experience.  Breakfast buffet-(Cafe 410)  good choices, attentive staff. Recommend going early to beat the loud & large crowds. Elevators were like a roller coaster ride and zipped us up to our room and down to lobby in a flash.  The water bottle check in gift was a nice and appreciated touch. (Just wished that ice machines were on every floor) Signature Steak House- pricey but worth every dollar!!  Very elegant/classy atmosphere - though kind of looser on the dress code than expected.  Steak melts in your  mouth- light, flavorful- perfect!  Best.Damned.Steak.Ever!!  Really set the bar and forever ruined all other steaks in comparison!!! Overall , very nice Kamaaina couple staycation. Only complaint would be the horrible mattresses!! (So uncomfortable that we had a hard time sleeping and woke daily with sore backs- and that there wasn’t free Kamaaina parking.

Mahalo!

This is the largest Hilton resort in the world, with many pools but no swimmable beach. The hotel has dolphins and turtles. I recommend staying in MAKAI for a better environment and more convenient access. However, the hotel is quite suburban, so you'll need to rent a car to get to the city center. There's a $5 one-way shuttle bus available within the hotel.

A typical American garden-style hotel with an elegant lobby and a large-scale three-dimensional swimming pool. There are many types of restaurants to choose from, among which Tidepools restaurant has a unique South Island flavor and is worth recommending. Reservations are required in advance. The room is large, but the facilities are too simple. It is best to bring all personal items with you. The overall evaluation is simple and luxurious.

It was good had a great time but if booking through a 3rd party site be prepared to pay way more fees that were never shown to you. They did rectify the situation but nonetheless it is still the principle of the matter and I would probably refrain from booking here again.

Traveling solo makes it less convenient to stay in a guesthouse, so I had to book a hotel. It was quite expensive, and parking seemed to be around $50-$60 a day. **Location**: If you're visiting attractions, expect a long drive every day. However, the Big Island's beauty isn't limited to just the popular spots. If you're with a group, driving a bit longer isn't a big deal as you can share the driving. But if you're alone, I'd recommend changing hotels daily and moving little by little to cover different areas.

The private beach is nice and open. Free snorkeling equipment can be borrowed. Boating and other equipment are charged. Drive for half an hour from OGG. If you live in the pacific whales foundation for whale watching, you don't have to rush to whale watching town. It has a branch in maalea closer to the hotel.

We were given Room 08 in the Ewa building, and the balcony view was exactly as pictured. Even though we were on a high floor, we could still faintly hear the lively party music at night, but it didn't bother our sleep. I'm not sure if it would be an issue for lower floors. Getting to the beach was super convenient – just cross the street, turn right, and you're there. The waves on this part of the beach are very gentle and consistent, so I'd recommend renting a board and heading out. The hotel providing beach towels and chairs was a nice touch and very convenient. The room itself was quite spacious, and while it felt a bit dated, the restroom and bathroom had been renovated with updated fixtures, including a Japanese toilet. The only downside is that the bathroom space felt a bit cramped.

It’s a nice resort in a great location, however plenty of hidden fees, we paid for breakfast which wasn’t anything special, scrambled eggs from powder, coffee was pretty bad and weak and you had to pay extra which we only learned about when we paid 160$ for breakfast. Lack of healthy food and not suited for people who eat healthy unprocessed food. I really liked the towel service, it was very convenient. Our room this time however (we stayed in the same hotel a week earlier) was not as great as our previous, it was more used, the fridge constantly leaking, and the air con did not work as well as in the previous room (it was ground floor with garden) And the worst thing was, I requested a quiet room but we got one of the connected rooms and we could not fall asleep till round 23:00 when a screaming family next door finally put their kids to bed. It was really noisy. Big plus for the pools and hot tub. They really were nice
