The hotel has a parking lot, a small gym, and a swimming pool, all fully equipped. There's even a small microwave in the room, which is quite convenient for heating up food. Shell and Foodhall are right next door, and it's less than a 5-minute drive away.
Since it's a newly opened hotel this year, everything looks very new and clean, and it was indeed very well cleaned. There's even hand sanitizer next to the elevator, which is reassuring, haha.
Driving to the airport the next morning only took about 20 minutes, very convenient. I recommend it for a short stay~

Great staff—always willing to help. The lobby is really nice, with a beautiful aquarium and comfortable seating areas. The room is smaller compared to Hilton Hawaiian Village, but we loved the clean décor. Our balcony had an ocean view, which was really nice. Check-in and check-out were fast and easy. We would definitely stay here again.

Consider it a happy little accident. I had missed my flight home because of the Pearl Harbor Memorial Day Parade and was stuck an extra day on Oahu. I looked to see what was the cheapest hotel room available and the Ka La’i popped up which surprised me.
Booked the room quick because the Honolulu Marathon was the following day and almost every hotel was sold out.
I got an ocean view suite with a King bed as my room and loved it. Bathroom was amazing, bed was super comfortable and overall the suite was spacious. Although it had a kitchen it didn’t have a dedicated dining table, even a small one. Only thing in the sitting area was a glass coffee table that was long enough for my needs of just a late night pizza dinner.
Staff was helpful and even as I was checking out, I casually asked if I could tour the Penthouse suite because I had always wanted to book it. The 2 front desk workers escorted me to the Penthouse and gave me a little tour. It was impressive.
Definitely would stay there again soon.

The location was great, right next to Ala Moana Shopping Center and within walking distance of Waikiki! The amenities were a bit inconvenient, with only a hairdryer, tissues, bar soap, and body cream provided. Overall, though, I thought it was a great hotel!

Had a solo day trip and wanted to try Hotel La Croix because they had a penthouse room for under $300.
The front desk staff were helpful and very eager and upbeat in a friendly way compared to other places where it seemed more forced or fake.
Skyline Penthouse only had a city view and it was decent sized for the price. King sized bed with a massive tv across of it. Bathroom was around the corner of the tiny kitchenette area. My only complaint would be that the room did need some touching up. For example the manually operated push button curtains were frayed, torn and crumpled in some areas which were noticeable.
The bathroom though clean, had some wear on the sink’s finish and there was a flapping panel on the wall near the toilet. Minor things but it didn’t help make the penthouse seem as exclusive.
Location wise though it is walking distance to high end shopping, restaurants and the beach. It’s adjacent to more expensive hotels like the Ritz Carlton, so it’s a budget option in a great spot without having to break the bank for rooms.

Check-in is usually at 4pm, but when I went there in the morning to drop off my luggage, I was told that my room would be ready within an hour, so I was able to check in around 12:30pm.
There were many Japanese staff members, so I was able to stay comfortably even though I couldn't speak English.
Also, all the staff were smiling and full of hospitality, and it was clear that they put the customer first, so I was very satisfied.

Let's start with the positives: The moment you walk in, you're greeted by a stunning ocean view, and I woke up to the beautiful beach every morning 🥰. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful 🫶. The room was also very spacious; coming from Tokyo to Hawaii, I really appreciated the upgrade in space 😍. There are many bus routes right outside the hotel, making it easy to get to Pearl Harbor. The Pink Line of the 'Waikiki Trolley' also stops directly at the hotel entrance, which is great for going shopping at Ala Moana.
Now for some areas for improvement: The room didn't have many amenities, and there was no free bottled water. It's a bit far from shopping and dining areas; getting to lively spots usually takes more than a 10-minute walk. However, if you love surfing 🏄♂️, this is a great choice as the beach is just a short walk away.

The location was very good.
There was an ABC Store within a 5-minute walk and many restaurants.
The view was also very nice as it was right in front of the sea.
Unfortunately, the room was terrible.
When I went to sleep at night, a cockroach came out from the bed. I tried to do something about it but it escaped. It was late so I didn't tell the front desk and just put up with it that day, but I was worried and couldn't sleep very well. In the morning, another cockroach came out from the sink. It was too much for me, so I told the front desk, and they replied very casually, ”Oh, really? Then would you like to change rooms?” I was very curious and asked, ”Do they come out often?” They replied, ”No, they don't come out,” which was a bit of a shock. It's not a cheap hotel, and it's a very popular hotel, so I'm disappointed that they had such an attitude.
After that, I was moved to another room, but it was a hassle to move even though I was originally staying for 2 nights, and I was worried that there would be cockroaches even if I moved.
I honestly didn't like their attitude of ”I'm sorry.”
All the other staff were nice and said hello, but I really didn't like the room. And it was twice as old as you'd think.
I'd like to believe I was just unlucky, but I was worried. I think it would be reassuring to bring something to protect against cockroaches, etc.

Came here for the Friday fireworks, but this hotel is a mix of old and new. Make sure you know which building you're in! The twin room was really bad; one of the beds was incredibly close to the door, with the headboard facing it. If that bothers you, definitely don't book it. If you forget your toothbrush, you can ask the staff for one, but there are no disposable slippers. As for the view, my room was pretty good.
Very nice hotel, sitting on the balcony to watch the scenery, swimming pool downstairs, snorkeling by the sea, especially there is a big supermarket within 7-8 minutes walk, the hotel breakfast is very rich, and the food in the restaurant is also delicious, it is worth experiencing again.

Very Good
Got a free upgrade to the mountain view ! Huge room, comfortable beds. Room service had good food with great prices. There is a mini golf next to the swimming pool and hot tub for free. Very close to waikiki beach , the location is perfect
This resort is right next to the Kaanapali Beach, one of the best beaches in the whole wide world. We stayed in a oceanfront room, and the oceanview is stunting. The staffs are friendly, and we have a great time there.
Nestled along the serene shores of Waikoloa, the Hilton Waikoloa Village is a haven of luxury and tranquility. Our recent stay at this breathtaking resort was nothing short of extraordinary, thanks to the impeccable service, stunning accommodations, and picturesque surroundings. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that instantly made us feel at home. The check-in process was smooth, and to our delight, we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a Royal Suite in the palace tower. Stepping into our suite, we were greeted by spacious elegance and panoramic views of the beach and lagoon. Every detail, from the plush furnishings to the tasteful decor, exuded luxury and comfort. The grounds of the Hilton Waikoloa Village are a true testament to paradise. Meticulously maintained gardens, winding pathways, and cascading waterfalls create an oasis of serenity amidst the lush landscape. We spent hours exploring the resort, discovering hidden gems around every corner. Whether lounging by the pool, strolling along the sandy shores, or indulging in a rejuvenating spa treatment, every moment was a blissful escape from reality. One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional service provided by the staff. From the friendly greetings to the attentive care, every member of the team went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Whether offering recommendations for dining or arranging memorable excursions, their genuine hospitality made our experience truly unforgettable. As seasoned travelers who have explored destinations around the globe, we can confidently say that our time at the Hilton Waikoloa Village surpassed all expectations. It was more than just a vacation – it was a transformative experience that left us longing to return. If you're searching for paradise on earth, look no further than this remarkable resort.
Newer area of the Hilton Waikaloa, definitely recommended for families. All the amnesties and kitchen tools are provided. Hotel was perfect for our family getaway.
Title: Perfect Stay in the Heart of Kona 🌺 I had an amazing experience at the Courtyard by Marriott King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Hotel! The location couldn’t be better—right on the waterfront, with beautiful views of Kailua Bay and just steps away from shops, restaurants, and the pier. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, with a cozy bed and a balcony where I could enjoy the ocean breeze every morning. The staff were genuinely warm and welcoming, always ready with a smile and great local tips. The on-site amenities were fantastic: the pool area was relaxing, the fitness center was well-equipped, and the beach right in front of the hotel was perfect for a quick swim or paddleboarding. I also loved the cultural touches, like the Hawaiian artwork and the historical displays in the lobby, which made the stay feel uniquely local. This hotel truly offers a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and Hawaiian charm. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Kona!
My stay at the Andaz Maui was overall very pleasant. Check in was smooth and welcoming, with the ladies receiving fresh flowers and the men brown beads, which made for a warm first impression. The staff also offered special lemonade at check in, and it was honestly one of the most delicious drinks I had on the trip. I’d recommend upgrading to a room with an ocean view, as it really makes a big difference. The non-ocean view room felt a bit dark, while the ocean view room was bright and relaxing. The hotel itself is a nice size, and the beds were soft and very comfortable for sleeping. The amenities were definitely the highlight. The beach was just steps away, complimentary sunscreen was provided, and there were multiple pools with incredible views of the ocean. There were a few downsides though. There was a miscommunication with my request to have the room cleaned. The room did end up nicely cleaned, but I had a slight argument with staff over it, which is not something I’d expect at a 5 star property. The hair dryer could also be upgraded since it’s not Dyson, especially given the nightly rate. Parking was another drawback, as it’s valet only and quite expensive with no self-parking option. Even with those small issues, the Andaz offers beautiful views, thoughtful touches, and a relaxing atmosphere that makes it a memorable place to stay.
I had a wonderful stay here. Every morning, I enjoyed breakfast on the balcony with a view of the lagoon and the ocean — it was absolutely beautiful. The building is a bit dated, but it is undergoing renovations, and even so, the property has five swimming pools, a lagoon, and easy beach access, which I really appreciated. One downside was that I was assigned a room in the Rainbow Tower with a connecting door. The noise from the neighboring room came through very clearly, almost as if it were in my own room, and the soundproofing was poor due to the connecting door. The hotel is about a 20-minute walk from the main Waikiki area, which felt a little far but still manageable on foot. Overall, I really enjoyed the facilities, the pools, and especially the lagoon.

Kona Village is just the best! When we arrived we were taken on a cart tour of the resort by the bellman Shanen, who dropped us off at “Hale 1” - one of only two legacy hales. At our first turndown service, the housekeeping staff left an entire collection of 7 refrigerator magnets. The outstanding service continued at the activity shed Kilo Kai, where one day Cam took us out on a private snorkeling expedition and the next day ‘Pu took me out canoe paddling and set me up on a stand up paddle board. We attended the Island Roots dinner the night of our arrival - the food was excellent and we were all seated at one table so the interactions with the other guests were easy and pleasant. Staff members Jose and Daniela dined with us, as if welcoming us to their home. We were there to celebrate my wife’s milestone birthday, and when we arrived at our room late that night they left a bottle of champagne and mini birthday cake for us. The pools and on site restaurants were great. All around excellent from start to finish.
