Great facilities. We went with half board. And it doesn't pay off. After knowing the prices, we would have paid less for dinner if we paid on the day.
We went on the weekend and the hotel was full. It's a large hotel and we didn't like the experience from that point of view.
The objective is to relax and have a different experience, but we ended up having to wait to enter the Turkish bath, sauna and swimming pools, which became unfeasible, as they looked like municipal swimming pools.
full of people. About the staff, the girls at the restaurant and at breakfast (who are the same) are very helpful and friendly. The same can no longer be said for the reception staff. Little willingness to help with such simple things, such as lending a mere phone charger, easily resolved by the dining room staff.
In short, it is a hotel with conditions, but I find it very confusing when it is full, something that I believe is common at the weekend.
We had a bad experience, two of the three rooms we had booked did not work heating, they changed our room and passed exactly the same, they still did not work heating, We liked the hotel but this detail is something to be considered for the next time
I would have loved to have given this place 5/5 stars for everything but as soon as we arrived, the noise from outside was very loud, upon bringing it to the attention of the staff, they said they ”fixed the door” as it was a very large patio door but the sound was still as if we were camping outside. I managed to live with this but the rooms television was also boy possible to connect any outside devices and the Netflix just wouldn't launch which we were told it is what it is with the TV. The thing that annoyed me the most was the fact that you have to pay to use the swimming pool that they so elegantly advertise in their photos. As an extremely regular traveller, this was an absolute first for me and really didn't make any sense to me. Otherwise the place was clean, and looked very nice. Parking was 20 euros per night which was actually more expensive than hiring the car but I guess they charge for location.
First of all, we received a very warm welcome.
Good thing is the view is stunning at this price.
Ok, the bad thing is the wifi is non-existing.
Breakfast you might need to queue up for 15-20 mins to be seated, it’s not that the tables are not enough, it’s just the recover is too slow.
During the midnight you couldn’t open the windows due to the noise from the car racing in the street almost the whole night.
You could walk to the town but not close.
The hotel had great service, including hotel information at the front desk! The breakfast area overlooks the city of Porto and has a great view. This is not limited to this hotel in Portugal, but there are no slippers or toothbrushes in the room, so you need to bring your own. If I have the opportunity, I would like to stay in an upgraded room.
Hotel is nice. Clean and spacious room. Comfy beds
Absolutely worth the price.
Location may not be near the touristic places but ain't a far drive with Uber.
A supermarket just beside the hotel is terrific. greeted us with a complimentary champagne at their top floor lounge with a scenic view of Porto.
Absolutely incredible hotel, the staff takes great care, from the privileged location to the spa facilities, everything is wonderful.
I recommend with your eyes closed for lovers of exclusive places.

SSoheil MalekiI would have loved to have given this place 5/5 stars for everything but as soon as we arrived, the noise from outside was very loud, upon bringing it to the attention of the staff, they said they ”fixed the door” as it was a very large patio door but the sound was still as if we were camping outside. GGuest UserThis was not the first time I've been at this hotel. It's a nice place to spend a few nights. The breakfast food is good in terms of variety and the staff is nice and helpful. The spa is always a pleasant place for you to relax. However, the buttons of the jets don't work properly, specially the ones that are only accessible when you are in the pool, which can be frustrating if you like to use them and won't be able to. This time, the sauna was out of work, as well, but they were fixing it. They didn't really seem worried about fixing the jets' buttons, though... When I was at the hotel last year, they weren't already working properly, but now I couldn't even get them to work. The ones that would work, wouldn't be active for a long time after you pressed on them. In other Spas, they usually work for a few minutes when you turn them on. In this one, they would only be active for about 20/30 seconds at a time. The room I stayed in, had a different display. You would go through a corridor with the bathroom at the front and on the left you had the sleeping area. I liked it because it would conceal the noises coming from the outside a bit better. All rooms have a balcony, but something that feels that is always missing are a couple of chairs and a table. The balcony becomes useless without them! I couldn't open the bathroom door well (not even in 90 degrees in relation to the entrance) because it would bump on the bidet. Also, the shower and glass covering the bathtub seemed to be at the wrong wall because it was inevitable to wet the entire toilet when you showered. The corners were a bit dusty and the bathroom bin hasn't been changed from the previous guest. I think the cleanliness can be improved.
UUrban VoyagerWe had a wonderful stay at Eurostars Aliados in Porto. While advertised as a 5-star hotel, it feels more like a high-end 4-star, mainly because it lacks some of the extra touches of luxury and service you’d expect from a top-tier 5-star experience. That said, it still offers great value for money and an excellent stay.
One of the hotel’s strongest points is its location—right in the heart of Porto, making it easy to explore the city on foot. Despite being so central, the room was quiet and well-insulated, allowing for a great night’s sleep.
Check-in was smooth and efficient, with friendly and professional staff who made us feel welcome right away. Throughout our stay, the staff remained courteous and helpful, ensuring a pleasant experience.
Our room was spacious, stylish, and very comfortable, featuring a king-sized bed, elegant decor, and a huge shower that added a touch of indulgence. Everything was spotlessly clean, which is always a priority when choosing a hotel.
The hotel has a spa with a gym, sauna, and hammam, free for guests. While we didn’t have time to use them, they looked modern, well-maintained, and inviting, adding to the hotel’s appeal.
Overall, Eurostars Aliados delivers a stylish and comfortable stay at a reasonable price. While it may not quite reach the level of a true 5-star experience, it’s an excellent option for those looking for a high-quality hotel in the center of Porto. We would definitely stay here again!
HHenriAbsolutely incredible hotel, the staff takes great care, from the privileged location to the spa facilities, everything is wonderful.

11581868****The hotel has a great location, with plenty of bus and shared bikes nearby, and it's close to the beach for easy access.
Although the hotel is a bit old, it's very clean and well-maintained.
What's particularly noteworthy is the excellent service! The staff were very welcoming, attentive, and considerate, leaving a lasting impression. On the day I checked out, I had to catch a train early the next morning, and the hotel thoughtfully provided us with breakfast boxes.
Snacks were readily available in the lobby and hallways. The hotel breakfast also offered a wide variety of options.
GGuest UserWonderful room and service, the best we had during our entire trip among multiple cities in Europe !! Thanks to your hospitality and warm service, even the restaurant you suggested amazes us.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel staff were incredibly welcoming every day, and the breakfast team always greeted us with a friendly smile. Besides the standard breakfast items, they also offered several egg dishes, which was a nice touch. Our room was super comfortable, and the bed was so plush we just melted into sleep. We also had turn-down service every day, complete with two chocolates! We'd informed them beforehand that we were celebrating our anniversary, and the hotel surprised us with a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine – such a thoughtful gesture! You won't regret choosing this hotel if you're visiting Porto.
PPassporttoPalateThis hotel was recommended by a friend and I would happily stay again, or in their other locations. The staff were friendly; the hotel was neat and clean. The rooms spacious enough, so you did not feel cramped in any way. The hotel has a pool, outdoor and indoor, and a small room with some gym equipment (but no room to spread of a gym mat out). There was some construction happening on the side street next to the hotel but it didn't bother us; the work stopped in the early evening.
The hotel is well located as well; easy waking distance to the square with lots of places to eat, and a few nice rooftop bars. You are a close walk to the market - which I would recommend eating your way through one afternoon, and close to the subway line if you wish to get further afield.

GGuest UserImpeccable service and the staff is intelligent and beyond professional. I’d say they were my favorite part of the stay. I loved the design and luxurious feel of the hotel, as well. The rooms are on the small side in Portugal but this hotel is of high quality and extremely clean. The sauna, steam room, and are pool are incredibly beautiful. Great location. Wonderful breakfast. The bed was super comfortable and the hotel was always quiet. I will definitely recommend this hotel to friends. I’d love to know who developed the hotel. One thing that I wish I had been told is that there was a rooftop. No one mentioned this at check-in and I just saw it in another post on Google.
