"Stayed at Comfort Hotel Maebashi for a short trip. The room was warm and cozy, though a bit small — similar to most hotels in Japan. However, I was pleasantly surprised that the toilet felt more spacious compared to other hotels. Overall, a comfortable stay with everything you need. Would definitely consider staying here again!"

EElena FesenkoKusatsu itself is a magnificent place. The hotel is located right in the center. The room type was traditional with futons, and we had a mountain view, which was stunning in the morning. The hotel is well-maintained. We absolutely loved the onsen at the hotel – it was incredibly enjoyable! It was clean, beautiful, and comfortable. I particularly want to highlight the breakfasts and dinners; the selection was absolutely superb. Highly recommended!

YYouziのbinvI booked the highly-rated Bouun Ryokan three months in advance, supposedly in business for 462 years! The interior decor and tatami rooms were surprisingly new. The room service, the dining environment for dinner, and the exquisite Kaiseki cuisine were all incredibly impressive. We stayed for two nights, with breakfast and dinner included. The hotel uses only the finest Japanese ingredients, and not a single dish or dessert was repeated. I especially want to commend the Japanese gentleman who picked us up and dropped us off at the bus station, and the young lady who helped us with our luggage on check-in day, January 5th. Both were exceptionally thoughtful. However, I must criticize a young male receptionist at the front desk – fair-skinned, round-faced, and wearing glasses. He didn't seem Japanese and was very impatient with guests. A high-end hotel like this shouldn't have such staff; it really detracts from the experience! Nevertheless, this won't stop me from staying here again on my next visit to Kusatsu.

FfelkehA pretty decent Onsen. Just that the staff couldn’t speak much English and we had a hard time trying to understand the dinner flow. And the amenities at the onsen bath are quite limited.

FFionaFengOverall, Kizunoniwa is definitely better than Konoha. Dinner was a delicious Japanese meal served in a private dining room, and breakfast was also good. My only minor complaint was that the rice wasn't quite up to Japanese standards. The location is quite far out. If you're heading to Ueno Station in the city, leaving the hotel at 9 AM and having a smooth journey, you'd likely arrive around 1 PM. The hotel shuttle takes ten minutes to the bus stop, then it's an hour and a half by bus to Karuizawa, and another hour-plus from Karuizawa to Ueno. The main delays are due to waiting for various connection times. It snowed on our second day, which was truly beautiful. I'd love to come back during autumn leaf season if possible.

CChingSqThe hotel is a bit of a drive from Karuizawa JR Station, about 35 minutes, and there's a toll fee. However, the scenery along the way is beautiful. Shiraito Falls is about 10 minutes away. The hotel parking lot is ample and very convenient. The hotel rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The hot springs are both indoor and outdoor, with an orange-brown color and a mild odor. Unfortunately, the outdoor hot springs don't allow for a view of the sky. The breakfast and dinner buffets offer a wide variety of options and are delicious. This hotel has a very resort-like feel and I'd definitely return if I had the chance. JJaponamamaDormy Inn Maebashi is a fantastic place to stay, offering comfort, convenience, and excellent amenities. The hotel is well-maintained, with clean and cozy rooms that provide a relaxing atmosphere. One of the highlights is the onsen, which is perfect for unwinding after a long day. The complimentary nighttime ramen is a nice touch, adding to the overall experience. The staff is friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay. With its great location near the station, Dormy Inn Maebashi is a top choice for both business and leisure travelers. Highly recommended!

YYoung Sang NohI have a comfortable rest while traveling alone. It was a special day with heavy snow and strong winds, but it was nice to feel like I was in Frozen. It was warm even if I was in the hostel and it was so comfortable that I didn't feel cold inside. I bought breakfast at a low price, but it was good to be able to eat various things despite the low cost of the breakfast buffet. While using the Run of House accommodation (randomly designated accommodation), it was better to have a room above the basic room as it was not crowded by travelers. If I have a chance next time, I want to come again. I'll rest well! ^^

GGuest UserKinchoro is the more exclusive wing of Fuikuichi. The rooms come sight private onsen and it’s similar to most 10 tatami rooms. The service from the staff is good. They are almost invisible when you don’t need them but will magically appear when you need help, during meal times and check in/out time. The food unfortunately seem to be so so only. I didn’t find it spectacular, and in fact fringing on being a bit too inventive. Otherwise, all okay.

11356463****Although the hotel has no special appearance, the internal rooms are great. The large glass windows can see Chicheng Mountain and Yuanming Mountain, and you can see great scenery when you get up early. It is also very close to Shiduan Street, there is a shuttle bus, you can also walk there. Breakfast and dinner are also delicious, kaiseki cuisine level. Service is excellent, it is the best service I have traveled so many times in Japan.

GGuest UserThe hotel is clean and the service is very good! The environment is quiet and quiet, and it is a good place for vacation and leisure. There are enough parking spaces for parking, and it is best to drive in and out, because other traffic is not convenient. The breakfast food is diverse and delicious!
